Pakistan have not lost a home series in their last 10, going back to May 2025: nine wins and one drawn Test series. The run started with a 3-0 T20I sweep of Bangladesh in Lahore and reached ten with the ODI tri-series title against Sri Lanka and England on 31 October 2026. The next test of the streak is the two-Test series against Sri Lanka from 9 November.

We read the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) release on this run, dated 2 November 2026. Below is every series in order with its result, what each one meant, and what Pakistan need to keep the streak alive in the Tests.

Every home series since May 2025

Pakistan's last 10 home series are listed below in the order the PCB gives them. Nine were won and only the South Africa Test series was drawn, 1-1. Six of the ten were T20I or ODI series against a single opponent, two were tri-series and one was a Test series.

Pakistan home series record since May 2025: 9 won, 1 drawn, 0 lost
No.SeriesResult
1Bangladesh T20IsWon 3-0
2South Africa TestsDrawn 1-1
3South Africa T20IsWon 2-1
4South Africa ODIsWon 2-1
5Sri Lanka ODIsWon 3-0
6T20I tri-series with Sri Lanka and ZimbabweWon
7Australia T20IsWon 3-0
8Australia ODIsWon 2-1
9Sri Lanka T20IsWon 2-1
10ODI tri-series with England and Sri LankaWon

The PCB headline counts "nine series wins since May 2025". Its own list has ten series. The difference is the drawn South Africa Tests, which count as unbeaten but not as a win. Both numbers are correct; they measure different things.

The run started against Bangladesh in Lahore

The streak began in May and June 2025, when Pakistan beat Bangladesh 3-0 in a T20I series in Lahore. That sweep is the first entry in the PCB list. Everything since has been either a win or a draw.

The next home season began with South Africa, the reigning World Test Champions, the PCB notes. Pakistan won the first Test in Lahore by 93 runs, then lost in Rawalpindi, so the series ended 1-1. Pakistan then won the T20Is and the ODIs, both by 2-1.

The South Africa ODIs were played at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad. The PCB says that was the ground's first international cricket in 17 years.

Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Australia were all beaten

After South Africa, Pakistan swept Sri Lanka 3-0 in ODIs and won a T20I tri-series that also had Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. In 2026 they swept Australia 3-0 in T20Is and won the ODIs 2-1. That made eight unbeaten series in a row.

Pakistan's 10 unbeaten home series since May 2025 split by T20I, ODI, Test and tri-series

The two clean sweeps over full-strength opponents stand out: 3-0 against Sri Lanka in ODIs and 3-0 against Australia in T20Is. The PCB release does not give venues or dates for each of these series, so we do not list them.

October 2026 made it ten

Sri Lanka's tour this autumn added two more. Pakistan won the T20I series 2-1 in Rawalpindi, then won the ODI tri-series with England and Sri Lanka. Pakistan won four of their five tri-series games, two each against England and Sri Lanka, including the final.

The tri-series final was decided by Fakhar Zaman's 127, and our report on Pakistan's three-wicket win in the final has the scorecard. Every tri-series result is on our tri-series results page. Sahibzada Farhan was the T20I player of the series, as our page on Farhan's 238 runs shows.

The Sri Lanka Tests are the next test of the streak

Pakistan's next home series is two Tests against Sri Lanka: 9 to 13 November in Rawalpindi and 17 to 21 November in Lahore. A series loss would end the run at ten. A win or a draw would make it 11 unbeaten. The Tests also count for the World Test Championship.

Tests are where the streak has been weakest. The only series in the run that Pakistan did not win was the South Africa Test series. Here is what decides whether the streak survives:

  1. Win both Tests: series won 2-0, streak at 11.
  2. Win one and draw one: series won 1-0, streak at 11.
  3. Draw both, or win one and lose one: series drawn, still unbeaten at 11.
  4. Lose one and draw one, or lose both: series lost, streak ends at 10.

Pakistan were ninth in the World Test Championship table at the end of October, as our WTC points table page shows, so the Tests matter for more than the streak. The squad is on our page about the Pakistan Test squad vs Sri Lanka.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the PCB release "Pakistan extends home dominance with nine series wins since May 2025", dated Lahore, 2 November 2026, on the PCB website on 4 November 2026. The list of ten series, every result and the Faisalabad note come from that release. The Test series dates are from the PCB squad release of 24 October 2026. The streak outcomes in the numbered list are our own working from standard series rules.
