Pakistan Tennis Calendar 2026-27: ITF Women's Week and Billie Jean King Cup in Islamabad
Pakistan tennis calendar 2026-27 from the Pakistan Sports Board: ITF women 12 to 18 October, Billie Jean King Cup 19 to 25 October, national ranking dates.

Short answer: The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) calendar for the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) lists a second ITF women's tournament in Islamabad from 12 to 18 October 2026, then the Billie Jean King Cup in Islamabad from 19 to 25 October. After that come junior ITF events in Islamabad until November and six national events from 30 November to February.
Tennis has a busy home stretch this month. Two women's events in Islamabad lead into a team event that Pakistan is reported to be hosting for the first time. The PSB calendar puts all of it in one list, together with the plans for 2027.
We opened the PSB calendar for the PTF on 12 October 2026. It is a federation plan, not a draw or an entry list. One date in it conflicts with press reports, and we explain that below.
The calendar lists a second ITF women's event from 12 to 18 October
The list shows two back-to-back ITF Futures women's championships. The first is 5 to 11 October in Lahore, and the second is 12 to 18 October in Islamabad. The second one begins today.
Press reports said the first event was played in Islamabad, and our own report on the Islamabad W15 final on 11 October follows that. The PSB list says Lahore for the first week. The two sources conflict, so we cannot say which city the PSB meant.
| Dates | Event | Place |
|---|---|---|
| 5 to 11 October | ITF Futures Women Championship | Lahore (PSB list) |
| 12 to 18 October | ITF Futures Women Championship | Islamabad |
| 19 to 25 October | Billie Jean King Cup (women) | Islamabad |
| 26 to 31 October | ITF Pakistan Juniors Championships (J30) | Islamabad |
| 2 to 8 November | ITF Pakistan Juniors Championships (J60) | Islamabad |

Billie Jean King Cup is listed for 19 to 25 October in Islamabad
The Billie Jean King Cup is the women's international team event in tennis. The calendar lists it for 19 to 25 October 2026 in Islamabad. Our earlier report on the Billie Jean King Cup in Islamabad gave the same dates from press reports.
The PSB list does not give the group, the opponents or the venue within Islamabad. It does not say whether the public can attend. We opened the cup's official website on 12 October, and its front page showed only the Finals result and no Pakistan event. So the entry and draw are still unconfirmed on a page we could read.
Wait for the PTF or the International Tennis Federation to publish the draw before you plan travel or tickets.
Junior ITF events fill the rest of 2026
After the women's events, the calendar lists three junior ITF tournaments in Islamabad: a J30 on 26 to 31 October, a J60 on 2 to 8 November, and J30 events on 9 to 14 and 16 to 21 November.
The calendar then returns to senior play with ITF Futures events in Islamabad on 14 to 20 December and 21 to 27 December 2026. More junior and regional events follow in 2027, including ITF Pakistan Juniors events in April.
National ranking events run from December to June
The PSB lists thirteen national events for the year, with six between 30 November and February. The next ones after this month are the 10th Hassan Tariq Rahim National Ranking Tournament in Lahore from 30 November to 6 December, and the Sheheryar Malik Memorial Pakistan Open in Lahore from 7 to 13 December.
These are the events that decide domestic rankings. They are open to the registered players of the PTF, not the public entries of an ITF event.
- 30 November to 6 December: 10th Hassan Tariq Rahim National Ranking, Lahore.
- 7 to 13 December: Sheheryar Malik Memorial Pakistan Open, Lahore.
- 28 December to 3 January 2027: Kulsum Saifullah National Ranking, Islamabad.
- 25 to 31 January 2027: Millat Tractors Junior National Ranking, Lahore.
- 15 to 21 February and 22 to 28 February 2027: PSO and Arif Habib ranking events, Karachi.

Davis Cup and 2027 team events are not settled
The calendar shows a Davis Cup World Group II tie between Pakistan and Tunisia on 18 to 20 September 2026 in Tunisia. It also lists a Davis Cup World Group II play-off tie in February 2027, with no place or opponent.
We did not check the result of the Tunisia tie, so we cannot say whether Pakistan plays the February tie. Treat that line as the PTF's plan only. Other 2027 team entries are listed as "TBD" with a month, such as the Billie Jean King Cup junior pre-qualifying event in March.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Pakistan Tennis Federation's 2026-27 activity list on the Pakistan Sports Board website on 12 October 2026. We also opened the Billie Jean King Cup website the same day. The Davis Cup result in Tunisia and any entry list are not in what we read.
