Pakistani Passport Fee in Greece: €55 to €540 at Athens (2026 List)
Pakistani passport fee in Greece: €55 for 5 years and €85 for 10 years at Athens, with 72 and 100 page, urgent and lost fees, walk-in hours and the cash charge.

A Pakistani passport in Greece costs €55 for 36 pages and 5 years on ordinary processing, and €85 for 10 years, at the Embassy of Pakistan in Athens. Urgent costs €90 and €135. A 72 page book starts at €90 and a 100 page book at €105. Paying in cash adds €2 in bank commission.
We read the Athens embassy's passport page, its fee table and its consular timings on 25 October 2026. Greece is the most expensive of the six European missions we checked. Below is every fee, the walk-in token system (no appointment needed), the opening hours including the first Sunday of each month, and the rules that hold up children's passports.
Pakistani passport fee in Greece for 36 pages
Athens charges €55 for an ordinary 36 page passport valid 5 years and €85 for 10 years. Urgent costs €90 and €135. A first lost passport costs €110 to €270, and a second lost passport €220 to €540.
| 36 pages | 5 years | 10 years |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary | €55 | €85 |
| Urgent | €90 | €135 |
| First time lost, normal | €110 | €170 |
| First time lost, urgent | €180 | €270 |
| Second time lost, normal | €220 | €340 |
| Second time lost, urgent | €360 | €540 |
A third loss has no price on the table. The embassy says it needs approval from the Director General of Immigration and Passports, which means a referral to Islamabad and a longer wait.

Fees for 72 and 100 page passports in Greece
A 72 page passport costs €90 for 5 years and €135 for 10 years on ordinary processing, or €150 and €225 urgent. A 100 page passport costs €105 and €160 ordinary, or €210 and €315 urgent.
| Passport | 5 years | 10 years |
|---|---|---|
| 72 pages, ordinary | €90 | €135 |
| 72 pages, urgent | €150 | €225 |
| 100 pages, ordinary | €105 | €160 |
| 100 pages, urgent | €210 | €315 |
The Athens table lists loss fees only for 36 page books. If you lost a 72 or 100 page passport, ask at the counter what the replacement costs before you choose the page count again.
Greece costs more than Spain, Italy, Germany or France
On the official pages we read, a 36 page, 5 year ordinary passport costs €55 in Athens, against €35 in Madrid and Milan, €36 in Frankfurt, €40 in The Hague and €41 in Paris. The 10 year book in Athens costs €85, or €8.50 a year.
The 5 year book costs €11 a year, so for adults the 10 year passport is still the better buy. These per year sums are our arithmetic. Urgent adds €35 on a 5 year book and €50 on a 10 year one. The home rupee fees, shown in the 5 or 10 year passport fee in Pakistan, follow the same pattern.

Walk in with a token: no appointment needed
Athens works on a walk-in, first-come-first-served basis with a token given on arrival. Consular hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 13:00 and Friday 09:00 to 12:00. On the first Sunday of each month, the consular section also opens from 09:00 to 12:00.
That first Sunday matters if you cannot take a weekday off work. Arrive early, because the token system serves people in order. You cannot apply by post or through a representative; the embassy says a passport cannot be issued or renewed by mail or by someone else.
- Pay the fee at the nominated bank branch or the machine at the embassy.
- Arrive during consular hours and take a token.
- Show your NICOP or CNIC, previous passport, copies and fee receipt.
- Give your photo and fingerprints at the counter.
- Collect the passport when it is ready, with your receipt.

Pay at the bank or the embassy machine, and keep the receipt
Deposit the fee at the nominated bank branch or in the machine installed at the embassy, and bring the fee receipt to the counter. Paying in cash costs €2 extra in bank commission. The fee is not refundable, so check your documents before you pay.
No form or photograph is needed. Adults bring a valid NICOP, CNIC or Smart Card, the latest Pakistani passport, and photocopies. Government servants need a no objection certificate. Married women must carry the husband's name on the ID card, or the passport will show the father's name instead.
Rules that hold up children's and older applicants' passports
For a child, the mother's passport must already show the husband's name, and the parents must be recorded as married in both NADRA and passport records. A newborn needs the child's ID record, an attested birth certificate, and the parents' passports and ID cards.
Athens also says no change can be made to an issued passport; you apply for a new one. And if your CNIC shows only a birth year, such as 1965, the passport will show 1 January of that year. If your spouse's name is missing from your records, fix it first; the steps for adding a husband's name to a passport from abroad start with NADRA. For a NICOP, use the NICOP online application on PakID.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Embassy of Pakistan Athens's machine readable passport page, its fee table image and its consular timings page on 25 October 2026. The fee table appears to have been uploaded in early 2025 and carries no date; we could not confirm whether it has changed since. The page gives no processing times. The comparison and per year costs are our arithmetic from mission pages read the same day.
