A Pakistani e-passport in Poland costs 150 PLN for 36 pages and 5 years on normal processing, and 230 PLN for 10 years, at the Embassy of Pakistan in Warsaw. Urgent costs 250 PLN and 380 PLN. A 72 page book starts at 280 PLN. The highest fee is 2,720 PLN, for an urgent 72 page, 10 year passport after a second loss.

Warsaw stopped issuing machine readable passports and has issued e-passports since 15 October 2026. We read its passport page on 27 October 2026. Below is the full fee table, the papers for adults, children and newborns, the bank deposit you make before you arrive, and the rule on a third lost passport. The embassy also serves Pakistanis in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

Pakistani passport fee in Poland for 36 pages

Warsaw charges 150 PLN for a normal 36 page e-passport valid 5 years and 230 PLN for 10 years. Urgent costs 250 PLN and 380 PLN. After a first loss these double, and after a second loss they rise four times.

The embassy lists every loss fee as a figure, so you do not have to work out the double or quadruple yourself. Use the exact amount on the slip.

Fees for 72 page passports in Poland

A 72 page e-passport costs 280 PLN for 5 years and 415 PLN for 10 years on normal processing. Urgent costs 455 PLN and 680 PLN. After a second loss the urgent 10 year book reaches 2,720 PLN.

Warsaw does not list a 100 page book. For most people living in Poland, the 36 page, 10 year book at 230 PLN is the best value: 23 PLN a year against 30 PLN a year for the 5 year book. Children under 15 can only get 5 years.

Pay at the bank before you go to the embassy

The fee must be in the embassy's account before you arrive. Bring the original bank deposit slip showing the exact amount, the bank's stamp and the embassy's account number. Write "Passport fee" and the applicant's name as the reference.

The account is at Citi Handlowy Warszawa, number 06 1030 1061 0000 0000 3094 4000. A slip with the wrong amount is a common way to lose a morning, so match it to the table above, including the loss column if your old passport is gone.

Papers for adults and for a first or renewal passport

Adults bring an original CNIC or NICOP with copies of both sides, the old Pakistani passport with copies of pages 1 to 7, an original Polish, Latvian, Lithuanian or Estonian visa or residence card with a copy, and the bank slip. Documents not in English or Urdu need translation.

If you have no valid CNIC or NICOP, apply for a NICOP first; the passport is processed only after it arrives. The NICOP online application on PakID is the usual route. A married woman's card must show her husband's name.

The e-passport copies its data from your NADRA card. To change a name, date of birth or place of birth, you change the CNIC or NICOP first, then apply for a new passport. No endorsement is made, and children cannot be added to a parent's passport.

  1. Make sure your CNIC or NICOP is valid and its details are right.
  2. Deposit the exact fee at Citi Handlowy and keep the original slip.
  3. Copy your passport pages 1 to 7 and both sides of your cards.
  4. Go to the embassy Monday to Thursday, 10:00 to 12:30; no appointment is needed.
  5. Collect in person, 10:00 to 13:00, with your old passport and receipt.
Steps to apply for a Pakistani e-passport at the embassy in Warsaw

A newborn needs a NICOP before a passport

For a baby or any child under 18, Warsaw first needs the child's NICOP from NADRA. Then the child attends with both parents, and the parents sign a form. Bring the baby's NICOP, the father's passport and NADRA card, and the mother's passport and card showing the husband's name.

Bring the original birth certificate with the baby's name, sex, date and place of birth and both parents' names, with an English translation if it is in Polish. If the mother's documents do not name her husband, bring a Nikah Nama attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A parent who cannot come sends an authority letter or NOC and their original travel document. Children up to 14 also need their CRC.

Third lost passport: emergency document only

After a third loss, Pakistani missions cannot issue a regular passport. Warsaw can give an emergency passport only to travel back to Pakistan. A new passport after any loss is also issued only once the old one is verified by the issuing office.

For a first or second loss, add a Polish police report naming you and the old passport number, translated into English, and a photocopy of the lost passport with its number and dates. The online lost passport route for overseas Pakistanis covers the DGIP side of the case.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the Embassy of Pakistan Warsaw's e-passport page, including its fee table in złoty, on 27 October 2026. The statement that existing machine readable passports stay valid comes from other mission pages read the same day; Warsaw's page does not say it. Per year costs are our arithmetic. We could not confirm whether the embassy accepts card payment at the counter.
