Pakistani passport fee in Portugal: €36 for 5 years and €72 for 10 years in Lisbon, 72 and 100 page, urgent and lost fees, papers, appointments and other fees.

A Pakistani passport in Portugal costs €36 for 36 pages and 5 years on normal processing, and €72 for 10 years, at the Embassy of Pakistan in Lisbon. Urgent costs €66 and €96. A 72 page book starts at €72 and a 100 page book at €84. The top fee is €1,152, for an urgent 100 page, 10 year passport after a second loss.
We read the Lisbon embassy's consular page on 27 October 2026. Below is the full fee table for new and lost passports, the three papers you need, how appointments work, delivery times, and the other consular fees Pakistanis in Portugal pay most often: power of attorney, attestation and renunciation of citizenship.
Pakistani passport fee in Portugal for a new passport
Lisbon charges €36 for a normal 36 page passport valid 5 years and €72 for 10 years. Urgent costs €66 and €96. The 72 page book costs €72 to €168, and the 100 page book €84 to €288, depending on validity and speed.
| New passport | 5 years normal | 5 years urgent | 10 years normal | 10 years urgent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 36 pages | €36 | €66 | €72 | €96 |
| 72 pages | €72 | €96 | €132 | €168 |
| 100 pages | €84 | €168 | €144 | €288 |
The table carries no currency sign. Every other fee on the same page is in euros, and Brussels prints the same 36 page figures with a euro sign, so we read these as euros. Confirm when you book.

Lost passport fees in Lisbon
A first lost passport costs double: €72 for a 36 page, 5 year normal book, and up to €576 for an urgent 100 page, 10 year book. A second loss costs four times, from €144 up to €1,152.
| Lost passport | 5 years normal | 5 years urgent | 10 years normal | 10 years urgent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| First loss, 36 pages | €72 | €132 | €144 | €192 |
| First loss, 72 pages | €144 | €192 | €264 | €336 |
| First loss, 100 pages | €168 | €336 | €288 | €576 |
| Second loss, 36 pages | €144 | €264 | €288 | €384 |
| Second loss, 72 pages | €288 | €384 | €528 | €672 |
| Second loss, 100 pages | €336 | €672 | €576 | €1,152 |
For a lost passport, bring the original police report, a photocopy of the lost passport and your valid CNIC or NICOP. If you have no copy of the old passport, the lost passport number can be traced through the issuing office in Pakistan.
Normal or urgent, and 5 or 10 years
In Lisbon the 10 year book costs exactly double the 5 year book on normal processing, €72 against €36, so there is no saving per year. On urgent processing the 10 year book is cheaper per year: €9.60 against €13.20.
Normal delivery takes 20 to 25 days and urgent 10 to 15 days. One quirk is worth knowing. A 72 page, 5 year book costs €72, the same as a 36 page, 10 year book. If you travel a lot and fill pages fast, the bigger book may serve you better than the longer one. Brussels uses an identical 36 page table, as the Pakistani passport fee in Belgium shows.

Three papers and an appointment
Lisbon asks for three things: your original Pakistani passport with a photocopy, your original valid CNIC or NICOP with a photocopy, and a photocopy of your Portuguese residence card. No forms and no photographs are needed. Book an appointment first.
The embassy takes appointment bookings through its official Facebook page, which is linked from its consular page. For questions, call +351 21 300 9070 between 14:00 and 15:30, Monday to Friday, or email pareplisbon@mofa.gov.pk. If your residence card is still in process, ask before you book. People who came on a work visa will know the Portugal work visa route that leads to that card.
- Book an appointment through the embassy's official page.
- Copy your passport, NADRA card and Portuguese residence card.
- Visit 10:00 to 14:00, Monday to Thursday, or 10:00 to 12:00 on Friday.
- Choose pages, validity and speed, and pay the fee.
- Collect after 20 to 25 days, or 10 to 15 days if urgent.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Embassy of Pakistan Lisbon's consular affairs page, with its passport fee structure for new, first lost and second lost passports, on 27 October 2026. The passport table has no currency sign; we read it as euros for the reasons given above. The page does not say whether the table changed with the e-passport switch reported in October 2026. Per year costs are our arithmetic.
