Pakistani Passport Fee in Belgium: €36 to €384 at the Brussels Embassy, Lost Fees Included (2026 List)
Pakistani passport fee in Belgium: €36 for 5 years and €72 for 10 years in Brussels, with urgent and lost fees, the bank voucher steps, hours and collection.

A Pakistani passport in Belgium costs €36 for 36 pages and 5 years on normal processing, and €72 for 10 years, at the Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels. Urgent costs €66 and €96. A first lost passport costs €72 to €192, and a second lost passport €144 to €384. Normal takes about 30 days, urgent about 15.
We read the Brussels embassy's passport page on 27 October 2026. Below is the full table, why the 10 year book saves nothing per year in Brussels, the token and bank voucher process, the opening hours, and the rule that destroys passports nobody collects. If you want a 72 or 100 page book, read the section on the extra charges the page does not list.
Pakistani passport fee in Belgium for 36 pages
Brussels charges €36 for a normal 36 page passport valid 5 years and €72 for 10 years. Urgent costs €66 and €96. A first loss costs €72 to €192, and a second loss €144 to €384, depending on validity and speed.
| 36 pages | 5 years | 10 years |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | €36 | €72 |
| Urgent | €66 | €96 |
| First lost, normal | €72 | €144 |
| First lost, urgent | €132 | €192 |
| Second lost, normal | €144 | €288 |
| Second lost, urgent | €264 | €384 |
You do not pay at the passport counter. Staff check your documents, then issue a bank voucher, and you deposit the fee at the bank counter before photo and fingerprints.

The 10 year passport saves nothing per year in Brussels
In Brussels the 10 year book costs exactly double the 5 year book, €72 against €36, so both work out to €7.20 a year. Elsewhere in Europe the 10 year book is cheaper per year. Here the only gain is one trip fewer.
Compare Paris, where the same 36 page book is €41 for 5 years and €61 for 10. The 10 year option there saves about €2 a year. The fees in Belgium are low for 5 years and high for 10. For urgent books the picture changes: €96 for 10 years is €9.60 a year, against €13.20 a year for the €66 urgent 5 year book.
| Mission, 36 pages normal | 5 years | 10 years |
|---|---|---|
| Brussels | €36 | €72 |
| Paris | €41 | €61 |
| Lisbon | 36 | 72 |
Lisbon prints the same figures as Brussels, without a currency sign. The Paris figures come from its own fee page, which the Pakistani passport fee in France lists in full, and The Hague charges €40 for the 5 year book, as the Pakistani passport fee in the Netherlands shows. You must apply where you live, so this is a comparison, not a shopping list.

72 and 100 page books cost extra, but the page gives no figure
Brussels says it issues 72 and 100 page passports for frequent travellers, and that additional charges apply. It does not publish those charges. Ask the passport staff for the exact fee at the document check, before the bank voucher is printed.
The Lisbon embassy publishes an identical 36 page table and lists its 72 page book at €72 for 5 years. That may be a fair guide, but it is not the Brussels figure, so do not pay on the strength of it.
How the Brussels passport counter works
You take a token on arrival and wait. Staff check documents at the passport counter and issue a bank voucher if all is in order. After you pay, you get a token, a digital photo and fingerprints, then data entry from NADRA's record and a short interview.
- Arrive within opening hours and take a token.
- Show your documents at the passport counter.
- Pay the fee at the bank counter with the voucher.
- Give your photo and fingerprints; data comes from NADRA.
- Answer the interview and note your collection date.
Applications run Monday to Thursday, 09:30 to 14:00, and Friday, 09:30 to 12:00. Because data entry follows NADRA's record, fix any error on your CNIC or NICOP first. A wrong date of birth on the card will be printed in the passport. The NICOP renewal on PakID handles most changes from Belgium.

Uncollected passports are destroyed after a month
Collect your passport in person by the date you are given. Brussels destroys passports not collected one month after the collection date. One family member may collect the passports for the whole family, which saves several trips.
After collection, sign or put your thumb impression in the box on page 2. For a child, the thumb impression goes there: right thumb for girls, left thumb for boys. Children up to 15 get 5 year passports only, and every child needs a separate passport, as parents' passports carry no child endorsement. Applicants also see a personal declaration of origin and health form on the page.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Embassy of Pakistan Brussels's passport page, with its fee table in euros, processing times and opening hours, on 27 October 2026. It does not price 72 or 100 page books. The Lisbon and Paris comparisons come from those missions' own pages read the same week. Per year costs are our arithmetic.
