Pakistani Passport Fee in France: €41 to €1,011 at Paris (2026 List)
Pakistani passport fee in France: €41 for 5 years and €61 for 10 years at Paris, with 72 and 100 page, urgent and lost fees, papers and the duplicate CNIC rule.

A Pakistani passport in France costs €41 for 36 pages and 5 years on ordinary processing, and €61 for 10 years, at the Embassy of Pakistan in Paris. Urgent costs €71 and €101. A 72 page book starts at €81 and a 100 page book at €91. The highest fee on the list is €1,011, for an urgent 100 page, 10 year passport after a second loss.
We read the Paris embassy's passport page on 25 October 2026. Below is the full fee table for 36, 72 and 100 pages, the French papers you need, the police check that slows down first-time applicants, and the duplicate ID card trap that blocks some renewals.
Pakistani passport fee in France for 36 pages
Paris charges €41 for an ordinary 36 page passport valid 5 years and €61 for 10 years. Urgent costs €71 and €101. A first lost passport costs €81 to €201, and a second lost passport €151 to €401.
| 36 pages | 5 years | 10 years |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary | €41 | €61 |
| Urgent | €71 | €101 |
| First lost, ordinary | €81 | €111 |
| First lost, urgent | €141 | €201 |
| Second lost, ordinary | €151 | €221 |
| Second lost, urgent | €271 | €401 |
Every Paris figure ends in 1, about €1 above the round amounts other missions charge. The page does not say why. Expect to pay the exact figure on the table, not a rounded one.

Fees for 72 and 100 page passports in France
A 72 page passport costs €81 for 5 years and €111 for 10 years on ordinary processing, or €101 and €151 urgent. A 100 page passport costs €91 and €131 ordinary, or €181 and €261 urgent. Loss fees climb to €1,011.
| Passport | 5 years | 10 years |
|---|---|---|
| 72 pages, ordinary | €81 | €111 |
| 72 pages, urgent | €101 | €151 |
| 72 pages, first lost, ordinary or urgent | €151 or €201 | €221 or €301 |
| 72 pages, second lost, ordinary or urgent | €301 or €391 | €441 or €581 |
| 100 pages, ordinary | €91 | €131 |
| 100 pages, urgent | €181 | €261 |
| 100 pages, first lost, ordinary or urgent | €181 or €341 | €261 or €511 |
| 100 pages, second lost, ordinary or urgent | €341 or €681 | €511 or €1,011 |
One quirk stands out. In Paris, an urgent 72 page book (€101 for 5 years) costs only €20 more than an ordinary one. For 36 pages, urgent costs €30 more. If you travel often and are in a hurry, the 72 page urgent book is the better deal on this table.
The 10 year passport costs €6.10 a year in France
At €61 for 10 years, a 36 page passport costs €6.10 a year. At €41 for 5 years, it costs €8.20 a year. For adults, 10 years is cheaper and saves a second appointment in Paris.
The sums are our arithmetic from the embassy's table. The pattern matches the rupee fees at home, which the 5 or 10 year passport fee in Pakistan lays out. Paris is a little dearer than Spain, Italy and Germany; on the mission pages we read, the 36 page 5 year fee is €35 in Madrid and Milan, €36 in Frankfurt and €40 in The Hague.

Papers to bring to the Paris embassy
Bring an original valid CNIC or NICOP, your Pakistani passport for a renewal or loss, and your French identity card, residence card or a domicile certificate of France, each with a photocopy. Dual nationals also bring the French passport. You must attend in person.
For a child born in France, add the parents' Pakistani ID cards with copies, the French birth certificate (acte de naissance) or the Pakistani one, and one parent in person. No forms or photos are needed; staff capture the photo, signature and thumb impressions at the counter.
- Check your CNIC or NICOP is valid and you hold only one ID record.
- Collect your French residence proof and copies of every document.
- Attend the embassy in Paris for photo and fingerprints.
- Pick pages, years and ordinary or urgent, and pay.
- Collect with your original token receipt and old passport.

First-time applicants wait for a police check in Pakistan
If you apply for your first passport in Paris and were born in Pakistan, the embassy sends a check on your national status and record to the District Police Officer in Pakistan. Your application is processed only after Pakistan confirms. Allow extra weeks for this.
For a first loss of an old manual passport, the embassy also sends a verification request to the issuing office before it processes the new one. A third loss goes to the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports in Islamabad for clearance. If you are in France and need to report a loss online first, the online lost passport route for overseas Pakistanis explains the DGIP steps.
A duplicate CNIC blocks your passport until you cancel it
Paris warns that people holding a duplicate CNIC or a second passport are blocked in the fingerprint system. To get a new passport, you must surrender or cancel the duplicate first, using an affidavit form available at the embassy's passport desk. The passport is issued after verification from Pakistan.
This catches people who made a second ID card years ago with a different spelling or date of birth. Sort it out with NADRA before the appointment; the fee is not the problem, the block is. The steps to clear a duplicate CNIC with NADRA are the starting point. After you apply, the usual passport tracking by token shows printing progress.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Embassy of Pakistan Paris's machine readable passports page, including its fee table, on 25 October 2026. The page gives no processing times and does not explain why its fees end in 1. The European comparison uses the Madrid, Milan, Frankfurt and The Hague mission pages read the same day. Per year costs are our arithmetic.
