Patreon Payout in Pakistan: PKR Bank Transfer, Payoneer Wallet and Every Fee
Patreon pays creators in Pakistan in PKR through Payoneer for $0.25 plus 1.55%, or to a Payoneer Wallet for $1. See the minimums, 10% fee and setup steps.
Patreon can pay creators in Pakistan straight into a Pakistani bank account in rupees, through Payoneer, for $0.25 plus 1.55% per payout with a $10 minimum. The other option is a Payoneer Wallet at $1 per payout with a $25 minimum. PayPal is also listed, but it does not serve Pakistani residents. Below are all three routes with worked figures, the 10% platform fee, the 5 day lock and the 75 day iPhone delay.
Pakistani writers, artists, tutors and podcasters often hear that Patreon "does not work here". It does. We read Patreon's own help centre on 24 October 2026, and its payout table names Pakistan with PKR as the currency.
Patreon pays Pakistani creators in PKR through a Payoneer bank transfer
Patreon's bank transfer table lists Pakistan under "USD to local currency", with PKR as the payout currency. Patreon keeps your balance in US dollars, converts it, and Payoneer deposits rupees in your Pakistani bank. The fee is $0.25 plus 1.55% a payout.
That table sits in Patreon's payouts guide for creators outside the US, edited on 17 October 2026. Here are the routes a Pakistani creator sees:

We confirmed the Pakistan row by reading the table's HTML, not a flattened copy. Pakistan sits in the USD to local currency column, not the local currency column used by Euro countries.
A $100 payout leaves $98.20 by bank transfer or $99 in Payoneer
On a $100 balance, the bank transfer fee is $0.25 plus $1.55, so $98.20 reaches your bank as rupees. A Payoneer Wallet payout costs $1, leaving $99, but moving that to a Pakistani bank then costs Payoneer's own fee.
These are our sums from Patreon's fee table. Patreon says the conversion fee is built into the 1.55%, and the exact rate depends on when the payout is processed in the hours after you start it.
- Bank transfer to PKR: $100 minus $1.80 = $98.20, converted to rupees.
- Payoneer Wallet: $100 minus $1 = $99 in your Payoneer balance.
- Then Payoneer to a Pakistani bank: Payoneer's own withdrawal fee, set out in Payoneer fees in Pakistan 2026.
The Wallet makes sense if you already use Payoneer for Upwork or Fiverr money and want one balance. Otherwise the direct transfer avoids a second fee.
Patreon takes 10% plus payment fees before the payout
Creators who published their page after 4 August 2025 pay a standard 10% platform fee. Card payments add 2.9% plus $0.30, non-US PayPal payments 3.9% plus $0.30, and a 2.5% fee applies when a member pays in a different currency from yours.
Patreon's Creator fees FAQ also notes that Apple takes 30% on purchases made inside the Patreon iPhone app. Creators who started earlier may sit on legacy plans of 5%, 8% or 11%.
For a Pakistani creator, the currency choice matters. Most patrons of Pakistani creators abroad pay in US dollars. Keeping your Patreon currency in USD avoids the 2.5% member-side fee on those payments, and the USD to PKR bank route is built for exactly that setup.
Set up the payout, then wait out the 5 day lock
Add a payout method under Settings, then Billing and payouts. Choose Pakistan as the payout country, say whether you are an individual or a business, and pick bank transfer or Payoneer. Patreon then locks your balance for 5 days.
- On desktop, open Your account, then Settings, then Billing and payouts.
- Click Add payout method and choose Pakistan as the payout country.
- Choose individual or business, then the bank transfer or Payoneer route.
- Enter details that match your bank and Payoneer records exactly.
- After the 5 day lock, open Creator studio, then Payouts, and click Withdraw.
You can withdraw once every 24 hours, or turn on automatic payouts on the 5th of each month. Patreon says deposits usually arrive within 10 days, and its Payoneer FAQ says a bank transfer can take up to 5 business days. Patreon recommends a standard current account; a savings or virtual account is more likely to fail.
Two waits catch new creators. One-time purchases on web and Android stay pending for up to 7 days. Purchases made through the Patreon iPhone app stay pending for up to 75 days while Apple processes them.
Patreon income is foreign income you should declare
Money from Patreon arrives as a foreign remittance into your Pakistani account. Declare it in your annual tax return, and keep Patreon's monthly earnings report as your record of where the money came from, since banks and the FBR can ask.

And a word on safety. Patreon pays from your own patrons, so nobody legitimate will ask you to pay to "unlock" a payout. Anyone who does is running the same trick described in do online earning apps in Pakistan actually pay.
