Pakistan to Wear Pink Against England at Gaddafi Stadium on 25 October, Free Screening for Fans in Lahore
Pakistan wear pink kits against England at Gaddafi Stadium on 25 October. See the PCB's plan, the free fan screening on 24 and 26 October and the pink shirts.

Pakistan will wear pink kits against England at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on Sunday 25 October 2026, when the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) marks Breast Cancer Awareness Day at the fourth ODI of the tri-series. The PCB says fans can get a free screening at the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Trust Hospital in Lahore around the match, on 24 and 26 October.
We read the PCB announcement of 18 October 2026 on 20 October. It also says pink-themed fan shirts went on sale at the PCB shop at Gaddafi Stadium from Monday 19 October, with online sales through the PCB store.
Gaddafi Stadium turns pink for Pakistan vs England on 25 October
The PCB has dedicated the 25 October ODI between Pakistan and England in Lahore to breast cancer awareness. Pakistan's players will wear specially designed pink kits, the stumps will be pink, and awareness messages will run on the big screen and the boundary boards.
The match is part of Pinktober, the name used for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. England's players, the match officials and the commentators will be invited to wear pink ribbons. Commentators will also read awareness messages on the live broadcast, so the message reaches people watching at home.

The game itself is a normal league match in the tri-series. It starts at 1 pm PKT, like every match in the series, and it counts for the points table that decides who plays the final on 31 October.
What the PCB has planned on the day
The PCB lists five parts to the day: pink kits for Pakistan, pink stumps, messages on the screens and boards, commentary messages, and Pink Ribbon activities in the stadium. Those activities begin two hours before the start of play, which means about 11 am PKT.
| What | Who or where | When |
|---|---|---|
| Pink kits | Pakistan men's team | During the match |
| Pink ribbons | England team, umpires, commentators (invited) | During the match |
| Pink stumps | Gaddafi Stadium pitch | During the match |
| Awareness messages | Big screen, LED boards, commentary | Throughout the match |
| Pink Ribbon activities | Inside the stadium | From two hours before play, about 11 am |
Players will also appear in video messages before the match on the PCB's social media accounts. The 11 am time is our own sum from the 1 pm start; the PCB says only "two hours before the start of the match".
Free breast cancer screening for fans on 24 and 26 October
The PCB has organised the day with the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Trust Hospital in Lahore. Its release says there will be free screening for fans at the hospital, and gives the dates as "from 24 and 26 October". It does not say what tests the free screening includes.
The wording can be read two ways: on 24 and 26 October only, or every day from 24 to 26 October. Call the hospital before you go. If you are going to the match, 25 October may be a busy day to plan around anyway.

When we checked Pink Ribbon's own price list on 30 September, a clinical breast examination by a doctor was already free at its hospital in Gulberg III, Lahore, and a mammogram for both sides cost Rs 6,000. Those prices sit alongside other hospitals in our list of free breast cancer checks in Pakistan. We have not seen anything saying the fan offer adds a free mammogram.

- Call or message Pink Ribbon's hospital in Lahore before you travel.
- Ask which days the free fan screening runs and what it covers.
- Ask whether you need to show your match ticket or anything else.
- Book a time if the hospital asks for one.
- Take your CNIC in case the hospital asks for it at registration.
Pink fan shirts went on sale on 19 October
The PCB is selling limited-edition pink travel polo shirts and fan shirts. They went on sale at the PCB merchandise shop at Gaddafi Stadium from Monday 19 October, and the PCB says they are also on its online store. The release gives no prices.
The release does not say whether money from the shirts goes to Pink Ribbon. So buy one because you want the shirt, not because you assume it is a donation. If you want to give money, giving directly to the hospital is the clearer route.
Tickets for the match are sold separately. The Gaddafi Stadium match-day guide has the ticket prices, CNIC rules and parking for the Lahore leg.
Why the PCB says it is doing this
The PCB says the aim is to push early detection, regular screening and timely treatment. Its chief operating officer, Sumair Ahmad Syed, said the board wants to use international cricket to raise awareness, and called it part of its corporate social responsibility work.
Pink Ribbon Pakistan's founder, Omer Aftab, said the partnership would help take the message to millions of people and raise support for what he called Pakistan's first dedicated breast cancer hospital. The PCB's director commercial, Ali Adnan Zaidi, asked fans to take the message of screening home to their families.
The fixture matters on the field too. Pakistan beat Sri Lanka in the opener, and the tri-series points table will look different by 25 October, after the 20 and 22 October games in Rawalpindi.
