Tickets for the Pakistan vs Sri Lanka first Test in Rawalpindi go on sale on Friday 6 November 2026 from 2 pm, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on 5 November. They are paper tickets, sold only at designated TCS Express Centres. Prices start at Rs 200 a day, the PCB Gallery is Rs 800 a day, and a Platinum Box seat is Rs 8,000 a day.
The Test runs from Monday 9 to Friday 13 November at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. That leaves three days, Friday to Sunday, to buy before play starts. Below are the prices for every enclosure, the four sale points the PCB named, what to carry, and what the PCB has not said yet.
Sales open on Friday 6 November at 2 pm
The PCB release is dated 5 November 2026 and headed "Tickets for Rawalpindi Test to go on sale from Friday". It says tickets for the first Test "will go on sale on Friday, 6 November from 2pm onwards" at designated TCS Express Centres.
We read the release and its attached price chart on the PCB website on the afternoon of 5 November. The release does not give a closing date for sales. It also does not say whether tickets will be sold at the stadium on match days, so do not count on buying at the gate.
This answers the question left open on 1 October, when the PCB said only that Test tickets would be sold at TCS centres and that the sale date "will be announced in due course".
Every enclosure costs Rs 200 a day except two
The General, First Class, Premium and VIP enclosures all cost Rs 200 a day. The PCB Gallery in the main building costs Rs 800 per person per day, and the Platinum Box costs Rs 8,000 per person per day. The price is the same on all five days.
The release names the stands in each enclosure, which helps when you choose a seat at the counter:
| Enclosure | Stands named by the PCB | Price per day |
|---|---|---|
| General | Miran Bakhsh, Sohail Tanvir | Rs 200 |
| First Class | Shoaib Akhtar, Yasir Arafat | Rs 200 |
| Premium | Azhar Mahmood, Javed Miandad | Rs 200 |
| VIP | Imran Khan, Javed Akhtar | Rs 200 |
| PCB Gallery | Main building | Rs 800 |
| Platinum Box/Seat | Not named | Rs 8,000 |
These are the same prices the PCB put on its Test chart on 1 October, so nothing has gone up. Each day is a separate ticket. All five days in General cost Rs 1,000, five days in the PCB Gallery cost Rs 4,000, and five days in a Platinum Box seat cost Rs 40,000 for one person.
The PCB has not announced a student rate, free entry for children or a ladies enclosure for this Test. If one is announced, we will add it here.

Four sale points are listed, three in Rawalpindi and one in Islamabad
The PCB price chart says "Get your tickets from designated TCS Express Centres" and lists four addresses. Three are in Rawalpindi and one is in Islamabad.
| City | Address on the PCB chart |
|---|---|
| Rawalpindi | 11 Kashmir Road, Saddar |
| Rawalpindi | Box Office, Aviation Ground, Rawal Road |
| Rawalpindi | TCS Regional Office, near Fazaia Colony, Link Road, Khanna |
| Islamabad | Plot No 394-A, Pothohar Road, near Police Station, Sector I-9/3 |
The chart does not give opening hours. For the October matches, the TCS list showed most centres open from 10 am to 6 pm, but sales for this Test start at 2 pm on the first day. Arrive after 2 pm on Friday, and call the TCS helpline before a long trip if you plan to go at another time.
There is no sale point in Lahore or any other city on this chart. Fans from outside Rawalpindi and Islamabad will have to buy at one of these four places or ask someone local to buy for them, keeping the ID rules below in mind.
No online sale is mentioned this time
The release says "physical tickets" and names only TCS Express Centres. The Test chart from 1 October ended with "pcb.tcs.com.pk or visit designated TCS Express Centres". The new chart drops the website and names only the TCS centres.
We tried to open pcb.tcs.com.pk on 5 November and got a server error page, so we could not see whether the Test is listed there. Until the PCB says otherwise, plan to buy in person.
The full buying guide, with the cost of every plan from one day to five, is on our page for Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 1st Test tickets in Rawalpindi. How cash buying works at a counter is in our guide to buying PCB tickets at TCS Express Centres.
How to buy a Rawalpindi Test ticket
The PCB release does not list ID rules for this Test. For PCB matches earlier this season, TCS asked for the original CNIC of each ticket holder, tied each seat to one CNIC, and did not accept colour copies. Expect the same and carry the originals.
- Go to one of the four listed sale points on or after Friday 6 November at 2 pm.
- Take the original CNIC of every adult who will attend, and a birth certificate for children.
- Choose the day, or days, and the enclosure. Each day is a separate ticket.
- Pay in cash and check the date and enclosure printed on each ticket before you leave.
- Carry the same original CNIC to the gate on match day.
Play is listed to start at 9:30 am each day, as set out in our page on the 9:30 am start for both Tests. Gate checks, banned items and parking are in our Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium match day guide.

Lahore Test ticket details will come later
The release covers only the first Test. It says "the details on ticket sales for the second Test will be announced in due course". The second Test is at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, from 17 to 21 November.
So there are no Lahore prices or sale date from the PCB yet. Our page on Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test tickets in Lahore will carry them when the PCB announces them. Both Tests are part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the PCB release of 5 November 2026 and its attached price chart on the PCB website on 5 November 2026, about 15:00 PKT. We compared it with the PCB release of 1 October 2026 on Test ticket sales. The ID rules come from the TCS ticket portal as our desk read it for the October matches. We could not open pcb.tcs.com.pk on 5 November because it returned a server error.
