PESCO Jobs 2026 Through ETEA: 4 Assistant Manager Posts, Eligibility, Age Rule and Last Date 10 November

PESCO jobs 2026 are open through ETEA project 874: four Assistant Manager posts in finance, transmission planning and demand forecasting, and the last date to apply is Tuesday 10 November 2026. All four are contract jobs on a lump sum package at PESCO headquarters in Peshawar, with an age limit of 21 to 33. Anyone in Pakistan can apply, because every post is on open merit.

The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) placed the advert with ETEA, the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We read it on etea.online on 28 October 2026. PESCO is hiring four Assistant Managers on contract

The advert is for PESCO's Market Implementation and Regulatory Affairs Department. It lists two Assistant Managers in Finance, one in Transmission and Planning and one in Demand Forecasting. All four are open quota, so domicile does not limit who can apply.

Power sector experience is preferred for the finance post, and computer literacy is mandatory. The transmission post asks for an understanding of 132 kV planning and capital budgeting. The forecasting post asks for medium term forecasting skills. The total of four seats is our own sum.

The age limit already includes the general relaxation

The age band is 21 to 33, and PESCO says the general age relaxation is already built into it. No further relaxation is allowed, except 3 years for scheduled castes and Buddhists, and 10 years for government servants with two years of continuous service on the closing date.

So do not add the usual relaxation on top of 33. Under this advert, a private sector candidate who turns 34 before 10 November is out. Check your date of birth against the closing date before you pay.

Dismissed employees of any organisation, and anyone with a criminal record, are not eligible. A foreign degree needs an HEC equivalence certificate.

The contract is lump sum, with no regular post later

The advert says the service is purely on contract on a lump sum pay package, with no regularisation in future. PESCO does not print the salary. Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in PESCO's area, not only at the Peshawar headquarters.

Weigh that before you apply. The advert promises no move to a permanent post and says nothing about pension or allowances. PESCO also keeps the right to cancel the process at any stage or change the number of vacancies. Other distribution companies advertise posts too, such as the GEPCO jobs advertised in October, so compare the terms before you choose.

Apply on ETEA with a verified CNIC before 10 November

You apply only on etea.edu.pk. First create an ETEA profile, print the e-Sahulat token and get your CNIC verified at a NADRA e-Sahulat franchise. Then fill the form for project 874, print the deposit slip and pay the test fee through 1Link.

1. Create your ETEA profile with a mobile number that has not been ported.
2. Print the e-Sahulat token and verify your CNIC at a NADRA e-Sahulat franchise.
3. Open project 874, PESCO 2026, and choose one post.
4. Print the deposit slip with your token number and project code.
5. Pay through 1Link and keep the original slip with the bank stamp.
6. Apply again, with a separate fee, for any second post.

ETEA's FAQ sets the fee at Rs 700 for BS-16 and below, Rs 900 for BPS-17 or equivalent and Rs 1,000 for BS-18 and above. These PESCO posts are on a lump sum package with no BPS, so the advert does not say which band applies. Pay the amount printed on your deposit slip. Government and semi-government employees must apply through proper channel.

After the test, only shortlisted candidates are called

ETEA sends an SMS when roll number slips are ready, and the slip shows the test date, time and venue. After the test, PESCO screens qualifiers against the eligibility rules and calls only shortlisted candidates for interview. Originals are checked at the interview.

Do not send documents to ETEA or PESCO in advance. No travel allowance is paid for the test or interview. If anybody offers a PESCO job for a payment outside the ETEA fee, treat it as a fake job offer. The advert lists every step, and none of them involves paying an agent.
