Peshawar BRT Routes and Timings: All 13 Zu Routes, First and Last Bus, Platforms and Fares (2026 List)
Every Peshawar BRT Zu route from TransPeshawar's plan: first and last bus, how often it comes, platform, and fares from Rs 30 to Rs 70, with the timing clash.

Peshawar BRT (Zu Peshawar) runs 13 bus routes in TransPeshawar's operational plan, from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm at the longest. The main corridor route, SR-02 from Chamkani to Karkhano, runs both ways from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, while express route ER-01 stops at just 11 stations and finishes earlier, at 7:00 pm from Chamkani. Below is every route with its first and last bus, how often it comes, and the platform to wait on.
We read TransPeshawar's operation hours, operation schedule and fares pages on 25 October 2026, along with the operational plan and fare table the company posts on them. The two timing sources do not always agree on how often a bus comes, and we show both where they differ.
Zu Peshawar has 13 routes in its operational plan

SR-02 is the all-day route, and the express routes stop by evening
If you need a bus late at night, use SR-02. It is the only corridor route that runs from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm at both Chamkani and Karkhano. The express routes, ER-01, ER-09, ER-10, ER-12 and XER-15, finish between 5:30 pm and 8:45 pm.
SR-02 stops at every main station: Chamkani, Sardar Garhi, Chughal Pura, Faisal Colony, Old Haji Camp, Lahore Adda, Gulbahar Chowk, Hashtnagri, Malik Saad Shaheed, Khyber Bazar, Shoba Bazar, Dabgari Gardens, Railway Station, FC Chowk, Saddar Bazar, Tehkal, University Town, University of Peshawar, Islamia College, Board Bazar, Mall of Hayatabad, Hayatabad Phase 3, Tatara Park, PDA, Hospital Chowk and Karkhano Market, 30 stations in all.
ER-01 skips most of them. On its first trip it calls only at Chamkani, Sardar Garhi, Lahore Adda, Hashtnagri, Malik Saad Shaheed, Khyber Bazar, Dabgari Gardens, Saddar Bazar, University of Peshawar, Mall of Hayatabad and Karkhano Market, and takes about 49 minutes end to end. That is the bus to take from Chamkani to the university in the morning.
Feeder routes link Hayatabad, Kohat Adda and Shah Alam Pul to the corridor
The DR routes leave the corridor for the neighbourhoods. DR-05 and DR-11 run Mall of Hayatabad to Phase 6 Terminal, DR-06 runs to Phase 7, and DR-07 links Karkhano Market with Phase 7 through Hayatabad's industrial estate and FAST University.
DR-03A runs from Dabgari Gardens through Bhana Marri and Technical College to Kohat Adda. DR-03B runs from Malik Saad Shaheed through Bacha Khan Chowk, Charsadda Adda and Budhni Pul to Shah Alam Pul. On feeder routes you cannot pay cash, which matters for visitors without a card.

Fares run from Rs 30 to Rs 70 by distance, and the cash ticket is Rs 70
TransPeshawar's fare table charges Rs 30 for a trip under 5 km, rising by distance to Rs 70 for trips over 35 km. A cash single journey ticket costs Rs 70 for any distance, and express buses on feeder routes charge a fixed Rs 55.
| Distance | Fare |
|---|---|
| Under 5 km | Rs 30 |
| 5.1 to 10 km | Rs 35 |
| 10.1 to 15 km | Rs 45 |
| 15.1 to 20 km | Rs 50 |
| 20.1 to 25 km | Rs 55 |
| 25.1 to 30 km | Rs 60 |
| 30.1 km and above | Rs 65 to Rs 70 |
So a short hop costs less than half the cash price on a card. The Zu Card for Peshawar BRT works on buses and bicycles, and its balance does not expire. Other cities use different systems, and their metro bus fares and timings are mostly a flat charge per trip.
How to catch the right Zu bus at a station
Corridor stations serve several routes from different platforms, and the operational plan names the platform for each. Waiting on the wrong one is the most common way to lose ten minutes.
- Check the table above for the route that reaches your stop.
- Note the platform: SR-02, DR-03B, ER-10 and ER-12 use platform 1; DR-06, DR-07 and SR-08 use 2; ER-01, DR-03A, DR-05 and DR-11 use 3.
- Tap your Zu Card at the gate on entry.
- Board the bus showing your route number.
- Tap out at your destination, or you are charged the maximum fare.

TransPeshawar's two timing pages disagree on how often buses come
TransPeshawar's operation schedule page gives shorter gaps than its operational plan. It lists ER-01 and SR-08 every 4 to 6 minutes, SR-02 and ER-09 every 5 to 6, and ER-10 every 4 to 6, against 6 to 10 minutes or more in the plan.
The first and last bus times mostly match. We cannot tell which frequency is current, so treat the plan's figures as the safer guess and allow extra time at peak hours. For problems on the road outside the corridor, KP's traffic police handle Peshawar e-challans separately.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read TransPeshawar's operation hours page and its operational plan image, the operation schedule page, the fares page and its fare table image, the FAQ and the helpline page on 25 October 2026. Run times are from the schedule page's first trip. We could not confirm which of the two frequency sets is current, or the exact fare between any two stations, which depends on distance.
