Roshan Digital Account Profit Rates November 2026: Rupee 10.50%, Dollar Up to 2% (Bank List)
Rupee Roshan Digital Accounts pay 10.50% from 1 November 2026 at Bank Alfalah and JS Bank; dollar accounts pay 0.10% to 2%. See each bank's rates and examples.

A rupee Roshan Digital Account now earns 10.50% a year at Bank Alfalah and JS Bank, from 1 November 2026, on balances up to Rs 10 million. A dollar Roshan Digital Account earns far less: 0.10% to 0.25% at Bank Alfalah, 0.20% to 1.00% at JS Bank, and 2.00% at Meezan Bank for September. The gap between the two currencies is the main thing to understand before you choose.
Roshan Digital Accounts let Pakistanis abroad bank in Pakistan without visiting a branch. We read the newest rate sheets from three banks on 2 November 2026. Below is each bank's rupee and foreign currency rate, what $10,000 or Rs 10 lakh earns, and how to check the rate on your own account.
Rupee Roshan Digital Accounts pay 10.50% from 1 November
Bank Alfalah and JS Bank both list their rupee Roshan Digital savings accounts at 10.50% for individuals with up to Rs 10 million, on sheets effective 1 November 2026. Both were at 10.00% before. Balances above Rs 10 million get a lower rate.
| Bank | Rupee RDA savings, up to Rs 10m | Above Rs 10m | Sheet |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bank Alfalah | 10.50% (includes Asaan Roshan Digital and NRP Business Value Savings) | 9.50% | Effective 1 November 2026 |
| JS Bank | 10.50% (JS RDA Saving and Roshan Digital Business Saving) | 7.50% from Rs 10m to Rs 25m, rising by tier | With effect from 1 November 2026 |

The rise comes from the State Bank of Pakistan's minimum profit on individual savings, which moved from 10% to 10.5% on 1 November after the policy rate went to 12%. The other banks that have posted new sheets are in the November savings rate rise.
At 10.50%, Rs 1,000,000 in a rupee RDA earns about Rs 8,750 a month before tax, on our own sum. How profit in an RDA is taxed, and how to send the money back abroad, is set out in Roshan Digital Account tax and repatriation.
Dollar Roshan Digital Accounts pay 0.10% to 2.00%
Foreign currency savings in a Roshan Digital Account pay very little. Bank Alfalah pays 0.10% to 0.25% on dollars, by balance. JS Bank pays 0.20% to 1.00% for November. Meezan Bank paid 2.00% on its dollar Roshan Digital Account for September 2026.
| Dollar balance | Bank Alfalah RDA | JS Bank RDA, November 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Up to $4,999 | 0.10% | 0.20% |
| $5,000 to $9,999 | 0.10% | 0.40% |
| $10,000 to $49,999 | 0.15% | 0.40% to $24,999, then 0.60% |
| $50,000 to $99,999 | 0.20% | 0.80% |
| $100,000 and above | 0.25% | 1.00% |
Meezan's monthly sheet for September 2026 shows its dollar Roshan Digital Account at 2.00%, its pound account at 1.25% and its euro account at 1.20%. As an Islamic bank, Meezan declares these after each month, so the next figure may differ.

Other currencies pay less again. Bank Alfalah pays 0.10% to 0.25% on pounds, dirhams, riyals and Canadian dollars, and 0.01% on euros. JS Bank pays 0.10% to 0.50% on pounds and 0.10% to 0.25% on euros, dirhams, yuan and riyals.
$10,000 earns $15 a year at Alfalah, $200 at Meezan
On $10,000 held for a year, Bank Alfalah's 0.15% gives about $15. JS Bank's 0.40% gives about $40. Meezan's 2.00% for September, if it held for a year, would give about $200. The same money in rupees at 10.50% earns far more in rupee terms.
| Balance | Bank Alfalah | JS Bank | Meezan, at September's rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| $10,000 for one year | $15 | $40 | $200 |
| $50,000 for one year | $100 | $400 | $1,000 |
These are our own sums, before tax. The rupee rate is higher, but a rupee account carries the risk that the rupee loses value against the dollar while your money is in it. A dollar account keeps its dollar value and pays almost nothing on top. Which suits you depends on whether you need the money in rupees in Pakistan or plan to take it back abroad.
Roshan Digital Account holders can also look at the government's certificates for Pakistanis abroad, set out in Naya Pakistan Certificates for overseas Pakistanis. How fast the scheme is growing is in Roshan Digital Account figures for September.
How to check the profit rate on your Roshan Digital Account
Each bank posts its rate sheet as a PDF on its website, with the rupee and foreign currency rates on separate pages or sheets. Find your account by its Roshan name, read the tier for your balance and currency, and compare with the profit in your app.
- Open your bank's profit rate page and download the newest rupee and foreign currency sheets.
- Find the Roshan Digital Account line, not the ordinary savings line.
- Read the tier for your currency and your average or daily balance, as the sheet says.
- Check the effective date. Bank Alfalah's dollar rates date from 19 May 2026, while JS Bank's cover 1 to 30 November 2026.
- Compare with the profit credited in your bank's app.
- If it is wrong, raise it through the bank's Roshan Digital Account support and keep the reference.
