Four of the eight U19 Asia Cup 2026 squads are now public. Pakistan are led by Farhan Yousuf, India by Lakshya Raichandani, Sri Lanka by Viran Chamuditha and the UAE by Ayaan Misbah. Each has named 15 players for the tournament in Muscat, Oman, from 5 to 14 November. Below are all four lists in full.

We read the squad releases of India's board (BCCI), Sri Lanka Cricket and the Emirates Cricket Board on 1 November 2026. Pakistan's list comes from the squad named on 27 October, which we could not open on the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) website because it refused our connection. Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Malaysia had not published squads that we could find.

Four U19 Asia Cup 2026 squads have been named so far

Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and the UAE have each named 15 players. Pakistan, India and the UAE are in Group A with Nepal. Sri Lanka are in Group B with Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Malaysia. The final is on 14 November.

India's U19 squad is led by Lakshya Raichandani

India's board named Lakshya Raichandani as captain and Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan as vice-captain. Anvay Dravid and Rajat Baghel are the wicketkeepers. The BCCI release lists 15 players and names no standby players.

The UAE squad is led by Ayaan Misbah

The Emirates Cricket Board named batter Ayaan Misbah as captain of 15, with Jordan Alvares as travelling reserve. Naveed Ahmed is head coach. The UAE are Pakistan's first opponents in Group A.

One warning about the UAE release. It gives tournament dates of 20 to 29 November, which do not match the 5 to 14 November in the later Indian and Sri Lankan releases. The squad itself is not in doubt. The date clash is explained in our U19 Asia Cup schedule.

Sri Lanka's U19 squad is led by Viran Chamuditha

Sri Lanka Cricket named Viran Chamuditha of St Servatius' College, Matara, as captain and Senuja Wekunagoda of St Joseph's College, Maradana, as vice-captain. The 15 come from schools in Colombo, Kandy, Matara, Ratgama and Hikkaduwa.

The Sri Lankan release was in Sinhala, so the English spellings above are our own and may differ slightly from the board's English version. Sri Lanka play Malaysia on 5 November, Bangladesh on 7 November and Afghanistan on 9 November, all at Al Amerat.

How to follow squad news before 5 November

Four squads are still to come: Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Malaysia. Named squads can also change through injury before the first game. These are the checks worth making.

  1. Check each board's own news page for the squad release, not a social media screenshot.
  2. Match the dates in the release with 5 to 14 November before trusting the rest.
  3. Look for named reserves, since injuries change squads late.
  4. Recheck Pakistan's list on the PCB site or app before 6 November, the first Pakistan game.

Pakistan's senior side is also busy that week, with a warm-up and the first Test against Sri Lanka from 9 November. Every Pakistan fixture this month is in our Pakistan cricket schedule for November 2026.
