We downloaded the Home Office table "Home Office immigration and nationality fees, 8 October 2026" from GOV.UK on 6 November 2026 and pulled out the fees Pakistani applicants pay most often. The table lists every fee twice, the current fee and the fee from 8 October 2026, and for the rows below both columns are the same.
The fees are in pounds. Your bank will convert them at its own rate when you pay by card, so the rupee amount on your statement depends on the day you pay.

The Student visa costs £558 for the main applicant and the same for each dependant. A Child Student visa is also £558. A short-term English language study visa for 6 to 11 months is £228.
On top of the fee, students pay the immigration health surcharge of £776 for each year of the visa. The same table lists a £55 fee for the confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS), which is a sponsor fee charged to the university, not a visa fee. Read our UK student visa guide for the money you must show, and our dependants guide to see who can bring family.

Priority, review and other UK visa costs
Faster decisions cost extra. The table lists £500 for priority service and £1,000 for super priority, where the visa centre offers it. Our priority service guide explains when it is available in Pakistan.
- Administrative review of a refusal: £80.
- Single-entry visa to replace a lost or expired biometric residence permit: £154.
- Visitor extension from inside the UK: £1,172.
- Graduate route, applied in the UK: £937.
- Life in the UK test: £50.
To work out the total cost, follow these steps:
- Find your visa in the tables above.
- Check whether the visa is longer than 6 months.
- If it is, multiply the health surcharge by the years on the visa.
- Add a priority fee only if you will pay for a faster decision.
- Add the cost of the TB test and any document translation.
Pakistani applicants staying more than 6 months also need a TB test from an approved clinic. Our UK TB test guide lists the clinics.
