Zong sells four daily internet bundles: Daily Basic at Rs 23 for 100 MB, Daily Data Max at Rs 49 for 1 GB (half of it for YouTube), Daily DTO at Rs 69 for 1.5 GB from 4 am to 7 pm, and Daily GNO at Rs 69 for 2.5 GB at night. All four are on the *6464# menu. DTO and GNO renew every day by themselves until you send "unsub" to 6464.

A daily bundle suits a day of travel, an online class or a phone that only needs data now and then. We read Zong's four daily bundle pages on 20 October 2026. Zong prints each price as a "consumer price" and does not say on these pages whether tax is included, so check the confirmation message.

Zong's four daily internet bundles cost Rs 23 to Rs 69

Daily Basic is the cheapest at Rs 23 for 100 MB. Daily Data Max gives 1 GB for Rs 49, but only 500 MB is open data. The two Rs 69 bundles give 1.5 GB in the daytime or 2.5 GB at night.

Zong daily internet packages compared: Daily Basic, Data Max, DTO and GNO prices and data

Daily GNO is the cheapest per GB, if you can use it at night

Daily GNO costs about Rs 27.60 per GB for its 2.5 GB. Daily DTO costs Rs 46 per GB. Daily Data Max is Rs 49 per GB counting YouTube, or Rs 98 per GB of open data. Daily Basic works out to Rs 230 per GB.

Those are our figures from Zong's prices. They make one point clearly: Daily Basic is only for a quick check of WhatsApp. If you plan to watch anything, a bigger bundle costs less per GB. And GNO only pays off if you download at night, such as updates, a film or a season of a drama, while you sleep.

The GNO page says its data works from 1 am to 9 am. It also uses the words "Youth Offer" in two of its answers, which looks like text copied from another bundle. Zong's hours for GNO are clear enough, but read the confirmation SMS to be sure.

DTO and GNO renew every day until you stop them

Zong says the Daytime Offer and the Good Night Offer renew automatically each day. If you leave DTO running for 30 days, it costs Rs 2,070 by our arithmetic. That is close to the price of a full monthly bundle with far more data.

To stop DTO, send "unsub dto" to 6464. To stop GNO, send "unsub gno" to 6464. Zong says the auto-renewal also stops when your balance runs out at renewal time. The pages for Daily Basic and Daily Data Max do not mention auto-renewal, and we have not tested them.

Zong's monthly bundles, which cost Rs 2,300 to Rs 2,800 for much more data, are in Zong monthly bundles compared. For a week of use, see Zong weekly bundles compared.

The DTO page shows two different prices

Zong's Daily DTO page prints Rs 69 as the consumer price at the top and Rs 40 a day in its offer table lower down. The page does not explain the gap. The Rs 40 may be an older or pre-tax figure, but Zong does not say.

We have used Rs 69 in our comparison because it is the headline price, the one shown on all of Zong's daily bundle cards. If you are charged differently, keep the confirmation SMS and raise it with Zong on 310. A wrong deduction that Zong does not fix can go to PTA through the steps in the PTA telecom complaint guide.

Running out of data costs Rs 1 per MB, and no bundle costs Rs 4

After a Zong bundle's data is used up, Zong charges Rs 1 plus tax per MB until the bundle expires. With no bundle at all, the default rate is Rs 4 plus tax per MB, charged in 1 MB steps. A Basic Add On gives 100 MB for Rs 10 plus tax.

To add the Basic Add On, send "ba" to 6464. To check your data, dial *102#, which costs 10 paisa plus tax per check. Zong says it sends usage warnings at 20, 50 and 80 percent, and again at 90 to 95 percent.

  1. Decide whether you need data in the day, at night or both.
  2. Dial *6464# and choose the daily bundle, or send "dto" or "gno" to 6464.
  3. Read the confirmation SMS for the price and hours.
  4. Check what is left with *102#.
  5. Send "unsub dto" or "unsub gno" to 6464 when you no longer need it.
Steps to subscribe to and stop a Zong daily internet bundle

You can buy the same daily bundle twice in one day, Zong says, but only after the first one is switched off. DTO also works alongside other bundles and is used first during its hours.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked on 20 October 2026, Pakistan time. We read Zong's pages for Daily DTO, Daily GNO, Daily Basic and Daily Data Max on zong.com.pk. Cost per GB and the 30 day cost of DTO are our arithmetic. We did not subscribe to any bundle, and Zong's pages do not say whether the consumer price includes tax or explain the Rs 40 figure on the DTO page.
