Zong UK Calling Bundle in Pakistan: 20 Minutes for Rs 350 on *433#
Zong UK Monthly Offer on *433# gives 20 minutes to all UK networks for Rs 350 plus tax for 30 days, prepaid only. See the cost per minute and the rules.

To call the United Kingdom from a Zong prepaid SIM, dial *433# for the UK Monthly Offer: 20 minutes to all UK networks for Rs 350 plus tax, valid 30 days. That is Rs 17.50 a minute before tax, so it suits short, planned calls and not long chats.
A nephew at a Birmingham university, a brother driving in Bradford, a daughter in London: calls to the UK are among the costliest Pakistani families make. We read Zong's United Kingdom bundles page on 21 October 2026. The price is plus tax.
Zong sells one UK calling bundle and it is for prepaid customers
The page lists a single offer, the UK Monthly Offer. It gives 20 minutes to the UK, landline and mobile, on all networks, for Rs 350 plus tax and 30 days. We saw no postpaid version on the page.
| Item | What Zong lists |
|---|---|
| Offer name | UK Monthly Offer |
| Price | Rs 350 plus tax |
| Minutes | 20 to the UK, all networks |
| Validity | 30 days |
| Code to subscribe and unsubscribe | *433# |
| Tax noted | Sales tax (GST) of 19.5 per cent on every subscription |
| Cost per minute (our arithmetic) | Rs 17.50 before tax |
With the 19.5 per cent sales tax Zong names, the subscription would come to about Rs 418 (350 x 1.195). The advance income tax on recharge, which Zong notes for other offers, applies when you top up, so your total outlay can be higher. The reply on your phone is the final word.

Twenty minutes is about 40 short calls of half a minute, or two long ones
The bundle is small. Twenty minutes is two ten minute calls a month, or four calls of five minutes. If your family talks more, the cost per minute becomes a problem, and you may do better with internet calls on WhatsApp or video apps for the long conversations.
Compare it with other countries. Zong's Afghanistan monthly bundle costs Rs 8 a minute, and its USA and Canada bundles cost under Rs 1 a minute. The UK bundle is the most expensive of the lot per minute. So it is a bridge for emergencies and people without data, not a daily tool.

Premium numbers are excluded and unused minutes expire
Zong says premium numbers are not included. Unused free minutes are not carried forward after the bundle expires. The offer is valid for all prepaid customers except those on international roaming, so it will not work if you are abroad on a Pakistani SIM.
Taxes work as follows: Zong names sales tax (GST) of 19.5 per cent on every subscription. Because the bundle is not marked as auto-renewing on the page, check your balance after 30 days to see whether anything was taken again.
How to subscribe and stop
Zong lists *433# for both subscription and unsubscription. The same code is used for the Afghanistan bundle, so the reply may show a menu. Choose the UK option and read the price before you confirm.
- Check you have a prepaid Zong SIM and are not roaming.
- Keep at least Rs 420 of balance to cover the price with tax.
- Dial *433# and look for the UK option in the reply.
- Confirm and keep the SMS.
- Call the UK with +44 before the number, dropping the first 0.
- Dial *433# again to unsubscribe.

The same code is explained for another country in the guide to Zong Afghanistan call offers. We have not tested how the menu separates them. For students who plan to call home from Britain, the UK student visa guide covers the other costs of a move. Jazz users have a different UK calling offer.
Plan your calls so the 20 minutes are not wasted
Because minutes expire after 30 days, agree a calling time with your family in the UK. Keep each call short and use the bundle for the people who have no data or a weak signal. Dial the number with +44 and drop the first zero, or the call may not connect and you may pay the normal rate. After the first call, check your balance to see that the minutes are being used. If they are not, call Zong on 310 and ask them to check the offer on your SIM, then keep the confirmation SMS as proof.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 21 October 2026. The price, minutes, validity, *433# code and terms come from Zong's United Kingdom bundles page at zong.com.pk, which we read on 21 October 2026. The cost per minute and the tax-inclusive figure of about Rs 418 are our own arithmetic. We did not subscribe, and we could not verify how the *433# code treats the UK and Afghanistan offers together. Zong can change or withdraw offers, so confirm the price on your phone.
