Aga Khan Hospital Karachi Appointment: Online, 021-111-911-911, WhatsApp or App
Book an Aga Khan Hospital Karachi appointment online, on 021-111-911-911, by WhatsApp or the app. See which building each clinic is in and what to bring along.

You can book an Aga Khan University Hospital appointment in Karachi in four ways: the online request form, a call to 021-111-911-911, a WhatsApp message to the same number, or the Family Hifazat app. Emergency and urgent care are walk-in only, so never wait for a booking when someone is seriously ill.
Below you will find which route suits which patient, where each clinic sits on the Stadium Road campus, what to bring, how payment works and what to do when the line is busy. We read the hospital's appointment, clinics, visit preparation and payment pages on 25 October 2026.
Aga Khan Hospital offers four ways to book a clinic appointment
The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) takes appointment requests online, by phone on 021-111-911-911, on WhatsApp at the same number and through its Family Hifazat app. The online form needs your name, age, mobile number, email and the reason for your visit.
| Route | How | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Online form | Request Appointment page on the AKUH website | When you know the speciality or the doctor |
| Phone | 021-111-911-911 | First visits and patients who are unsure where to go |
| 021-111-911-911 (92-21-111-911-911) | Overseas relatives or people who prefer text | |
| Family Hifazat app | Android and iPhone | Booking the slot yourself from your phone |
| Walk-in | Emergency, urgent care, Community Health Centre | Anything serious, or routine family medicine on the day |
The clinic preparation page also shows a direct call button for 021-3486-1090. We could not confirm which desk answers it, so start with the main number.

The online form asks for your location, MR number and reason
The AKUH Request Appointment form first asks where you want to be seen: the Stadium Road campus, Clifton Medical Services or another medical centre. It then asks whether you have a Medical Record (MR) number.
After that come the patient's name, age, a mobile number with the +92 code and an email address. Speciality and doctor are optional. The reason for consultation is required, and the form says to describe it if you are not sure which doctor or speciality you need.
- Pick the location: Stadium Road, Clifton Medical Services or another centre.
- Say whether you have an MR number, and type it if you do.
- Enter the patient's name, age, mobile number and email.
- Choose a speciality and doctor, or leave them blank.
- Write the reason for the visit in plain words, then submit.
- Wait for the hospital to contact you with a date and time.
The form is a request, not a confirmed slot. Keep your phone on, because the hospital's team calls or messages to fix the time. A wrong mobile number is the most common reason a request goes nowhere.
Each speciality has a fixed building on the Stadium Road campus
AKUH's main campus spreads its consulting clinics across five buildings. Neurology sits in CC-1, orthopaedics in CC-2, eyes, ENT and skin in the Jenabai Hussainali Shariff building, cancer care in Ibn-e-Zuhr, and women's and children's clinics in their own building.
| Building and floor | Clinics |
|---|---|
| Consulting Clinics 1 (CC-1) | Neurology, neurosurgery |
| Consulting Clinics 2 (CC-2) | Orthopaedics, rheumatology |
| Jenabai Hussainali Shariff, ground floor | Eyes, ENT, psychiatry |
| Jenabai Hussainali Shariff, first floor | Dentistry, skin, kidney, urology |
| Jenabai Hussainali Shariff, second floor | Breast surgery, plastic surgery, general surgery, liver and digestive |
| Ibn-e-Zuhr building | Cancer care, palliative care |
| Nazerali Walji, first floor | Family medicine, internal medicine, diabetes and hormones, infectious diseases |
| Nazerali Walji, second floor | Heart, lungs, vascular surgery |
| Women and Child Health building | Gynaecology and obstetrics (ground), children (first floor) |
Some special clinics run only on set days. The menopause clinic runs on Friday from 10am to 12pm, the fertility monitoring ultrasound clinic from 9am to 10am Monday to Friday, and the heart and pregnancy clinic on alternate Wednesdays from 9am to 11am.

First-time patients register for an MR number before seeing the doctor
On your first visit you go to the registration counter and receive a Medical Record (MR) number on a card. Returning patients give their name and MR number. You then pay at the cash counter before the consultation begins.
A nurse or technician records your height, weight, temperature and blood pressure. You may meet a resident doctor first, then the consultant. Any follow-up appointment can be booked before you leave the clinic.
The hospital asks you to bring these:
- Your MR number, if you already have one.
- Old reports, x-ray films and lab results.
- A list of every medicine and supplement you take, with doses.
- A short list of symptoms and questions for the doctor.
Arrive on time. The hospital's own page warns that a late arrival may result in your appointment being rescheduled, and the campus is large enough that finding the right building takes ten minutes on its own.

Clinic visits are paid on the day by cash, card or online
AKUH says outpatients pay at the time of their appointment. It accepts cash and debit or credit cards at the counter, and online payment for clinic and tele-clinic visits through its payment portal. The hospital does not publish a single consultation fee.
The AKUH payment options page lists the main campus billing office on 021-3493-0051, open 8:30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 8:30am to 5pm on Sunday. Hospital bills can also be paid through 1Link or 1Bill using the 24-digit code printed on the bill.
Fees differ by doctor and speciality. Ask the price when the hospital calls to confirm your slot, so the cash counter holds no surprise. For an emergency admission, the page says payment can be arranged within the first 14 hours, with a guarantor.
Lab reports, Executive Clinic and other centres have their own routes
Lab reports, the Executive Clinic and the medical centres outside the main campus each have separate contact routes. The Executive Clinic has its own two phone lines, and AKUH runs 5 hospitals in all, so check which site your doctor sits at.
The AKUH home page has a separate login to request lab or diagnostic reports. The Executive Clinic books on 021-3486-1003 or 021-3486-1004. AKUH also runs 19 medical centres and 305 lab collection units across Pakistan.
The Executive Clinic asks for at least two working days' notice to cancel, and a cancellation fee may apply otherwise. The Community Health Centre on the main campus welcomes walk-in patients for family medicine, subject to availability.
If your concern is cost rather than convenience, compare this with free options such as the free treatment at Indus Hospital, or the government JPMC Karachi OPD, which runs Monday to Saturday mornings.
Common questions
What is the Aga Khan Hospital appointment number?
The main number is 021-111-911-911. The same number works on WhatsApp.
Can I book an Aga Khan Hospital appointment online?
Yes. Fill in the Request Appointment form on the hospital's website. The hospital then contacts you to confirm a time.
Do I need an appointment for the emergency department?
No. The hospital says emergency and urgent care are walk-in only. Go straight there, or call 1122 for an ambulance.
What is an MR number at Aga Khan Hospital?
It is your Medical Record number, given at registration on your first visit. You use it every time you return.
How do I pay for a clinic visit?
Pay on the day at the cash counter by cash or card, or online through the AKUH payment portal.
Where do I complain about care at a Karachi hospital?
Raise it with the hospital first. If that fails, the rules to complain against a hospital or doctor in Sindh explain the Sindh Healthcare Commission route.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 25 October 2026. We read the Aga Khan University Hospital Pakistan pages for appointment requests, clinics, clinic visit preparation, payment options, contact and hospitals and centres on hospitals.aku.edu on 25 October 2026. Numbers, building locations, clinic days and payment rules come from those pages. We did not book an appointment, and the hospital does not publish consultation fees, so we could not confirm prices or waiting times. We also could not confirm which desk answers 021-3486-1090. This page is information only; for medical advice, speak to a doctor.
