Aga Khan Lab Report Online: Download With the User ID on Your Receipt, WhatsApp and Family Hifazat (Every Route)
Download an Aga Khan lab report online with the User ID and Password on your receipt. See WhatsApp 021-111-911-911, Family Hifazat, home sampling and fixes.

You can download an Aga Khan lab report online on the AKUH website: open "Download Reports" at hospitals.aku.edu/pakistan/lab-tests and log in with the User ID and Password printed on your lab test receipt. The same login box sits on the hospital's home page under "Request Lab or Diagnostic Reports".
Aga Khan University Hospital also sends reports through WhatsApp, SMS alerts and its Family Hifazat app, and it takes samples at home. Below are every route, the login steps, what to do when the receipt is lost or the login fails, the home sample form and the numbers to call. We read the hospital's own pages on 28 October 2026.
Aga Khan lab reports come through five channels
AKUH lists e-reports, WhatsApp, Family Hifazat, SMS alerts and home sample collection as its digital lab services. The website download needs only your receipt; the Family Hifazat app needs an account linked to your medical record.
| Channel | What you need | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Website, "Download Reports" | User ID and Password from the receipt | Downloading a PDF on any device |
| Family Hifazat app | A Family Hifazat login | Keeping the whole family's reports together |
| The number you gave at the lab | A copy on your phone | |
| SMS alert | A working mobile number | Knowing when the report is ready |
| Collection point | Your receipt | A printed copy |
AKUH's network is large. The hospital says its labs reach more than 300 locations in over 130 cities, with 13 STAT labs (labs that run urgent tests fast). So there is probably a collection point in or near your town.

How to download an Aga Khan lab report on the website
Open the AKUH lab tests page, choose "Download Reports", and type the User ID and Password from your lab receipt. The hospital's page says plainly: check your lab test receipt for your User ID and Password to log in.
- Go to the AKUH lab and radiology tests page, or use the "Request Lab or Diagnostic Reports" box on the home page.
- Type the Login ID (User ID) from your receipt. The box takes up to 20 characters.
- Type the Password from the same receipt. Use the eye icon to check you typed it correctly.
- Press Login. Your reports for that visit appear.
- Download the PDF and send it to your doctor.
Keep every receipt until the report is safely saved. If you test often, the Family Hifazat app saves you from hunting for old receipts.

When the Aga Khan report will not download
Most failures come from a lost receipt, a mistyped password or a report that is not ready yet. Call or WhatsApp AKUH on 021-111-911-911 with your name, date of birth and the date of the test.
- Lost receipt: go back to the collection point with your CNIC and ask staff to reprint the receipt or the report.
- Login rejected: retype the password slowly. Letters and numbers such as O and 0 look alike on a thermal receipt.
- Report not ready: special tests and tissue reports take longer than routine blood tests. Ask when your report is due when you give the sample.
- Older records: full medical records, birth certificates and death verification letters come from Health Information Management Services, in person or online with courier delivery at extra cost.
A message that asks you to pay through a link before a report is "released" should make you stop. Check the number against AKUH's own UAN before paying anyone.
Aga Khan home sample collection uses an online form
AKUH's home sample collection form asks for the patient's name, birthdate, gender, pick-up address, city, phone number, preferred date and time, and the tests you need. The MR number is optional.
The MR number is the medical record number given to anyone who has been treated at AKUH before. Add it if you have one, because it ties the new result to your history. If a doctor outside AKUH referred you, the same box takes the outside referral number.
The form shows open time slots by date, and some dates show none. If that happens, pick another date or call the UAN. AKUH also lists separate phone and WhatsApp numbers for some collection outlets. Its hospital on Jamshoro Road, Hyderabad, for example, lists WhatsApp 0322-4300777 and timings of 8:30am to 9:30pm.

Aga Khan lab contacts and help with the bill
AKUH's main number is 021-111-911-911, which also takes WhatsApp messages. The hospital is on Stadium Road, Karachi, and its email is akuh.information@aku.edu. Patients who cannot pay can ask about the Patient Welfare Programme.
The clinical labs page says the Patient Welfare Programme and the Patients' Behbood Society help people with money problems get essential diagnostic tests. Ask at the welfare office before you skip a test because of the price.
For a doctor's visit at the same hospital, the steps are in the Aga Khan Hospital Karachi appointment routes. Other big Karachi labs and hospitals work differently; at Liaquat National Hospital, for example, OPD booking and reports have their own numbers. To confirm a lab is licensed in Sindh, you can check it with the Sindh Healthcare Commission.
Your report supports your doctor's judgement; it does not replace it. Take it to the doctor who ordered the test.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read AKUH's home page, lab tests page, clinical laboratories page, all locations page, home sample collection form, request health records page and contact page on hospitals.aku.edu on 28 October 2026. We had no receipt of our own, so we did not open a real report. We did not find report turnaround times, home sampling charges or the exact WhatsApp steps for reports on the pages we read, and AKUH's lab pages did not say whether a lost receipt can be replaced, so that step is our advice.
