AJK Board 9th Class Second Annual 2026 Admission: Double Fee on 20 and 21 October, Single Fee From Rs 1,970
AJK board 9th class second annual 2026: double fee on 20 and 21 October, triple fee to 23 October. Single fee was Rs 1,970 to Rs 2,100. See the steps.

Short answer: the single fee window for AJK board's 9th class Second Annual Examination 2026 closed on 19 October. Double fee applies on 20 and 21 October, and triple fee on 22 and 23 October. The single fee is Rs 1,970 for a regular Arts student and Rs 2,040 for Science.
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Mirpur, extended the 9th class admission schedule on 15 October 2026. If you are reading this on 20 October, you have two days at double fee before the last stage. We read the board's notices and set out the dates, fees and the improvement rule below.
Double fee runs on 20 and 21 October 2026
The AJK board's revised notice of 15 October 2026 has three stages. Single fee ran from 1 to 19 October. Double fee runs from 20 to 21 October. Triple fee runs from 22 to 23 October. The online form and the fee both fall in these windows.
Each stage also has a date for the hard copy of the form. You can hand it in at the board office in Mirpur, or post it. The posted copy must reach the board by the later date in the table.

| Stage | Online form and fee | Hard copy by hand | Hard copy by post, received by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single fee | 1 to 19 October 2026 | 22 October 2026 | 24 October 2026 |
| Double fee | 20 to 21 October 2026 | 23 October 2026 | 26 October 2026 |
| Triple fee | 22 to 23 October 2026 | 25 October 2026 | 28 October 2026 |
The notice says there is no extension for the 10th class schedule. This change is for 9th class only. Intermediate students have their own schedule, and the AJK inter second annual admission single fee runs until 20 October.
The single fee is Rs 1,970 to Rs 2,100
The fee rates come from the board's notification of 31 August 2026. For 9th class, a regular Arts student without a practical subject pays Rs 1,970. A regular Science student pays Rs 2,040. Private candidates pay Rs 2,040 for Arts and Rs 2,100 for Science.
Each total is an admission fee plus a Rs 500 processing fee. The board treats an Arts student who takes a practical subject the same as a Science student.

| Candidate | Admission fee | Processing fee | Total single fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular, Arts without practical | Rs 1,470 | Rs 500 | Rs 1,970 |
| Regular, Science or Arts with practical | Rs 1,540 | Rs 500 | Rs 2,040 |
| Private, Arts without practical | Rs 1,540 | Rs 500 | Rs 2,040 |
| Private, Science or Arts with practical | Rs 1,600 | Rs 500 | Rs 2,100 |
The 15 October notice calls the later stages "double fee" and "triple fee" but does not print the rupee amounts. The challan the board's portal makes for your form shows the exact sum. Check it before you pay at the bank.
A private candidate who has never registered at secondary level pays more. The August notification adds a registration and sports fee of Rs 1,300, a certificate fee of Rs 500, a scholarship fee of Rs 200 and a registration processing fee of Rs 500. That is Rs 2,500 on top of the admission fee.
Students below 33 per cent can resit for better marks
The board's press release of 9 October 2026 lets a 9th class student who scored under 33 per cent in some subjects in the First Annual 2026 sit those subjects again. They can also sit their passed subjects with them, to raise the total.
The board says it made this decision under the federal board's policy. For regular students, the admission form is processed and printed only after the fee challan is paid. Only a challan made for that admission form is accepted. A challan from another form will not count.
The August notification also sets the number of tries. A candidate gets four chances, counting the first sitting, to pass the failed subjects. In those chances they sit only the subjects they failed. If you want to compare, the federal board explains its own rules for students who improve marks at SSC and HSSC level, but AJK students follow the Mirpur board's notices.
Schools send the forms, private candidates attest their own
Heads of schools feed regular students' forms through the school's online account, in subject batches. Private candidates fill the form themselves and get it attested by an allowed officer. Late hard copies draw a fine, separate from the fee stage.
- Log in to the school's or candidate's account on the AJK board portal and fill the 9th class second annual form.
- Generate the computerised challan from the portal. The board accepts fee only on this challan.
- Pay the challan at the bank within the fee window for that stage.
- Print the form after payment, get it attested, and attach the original challan.
- Deliver the hard copy to the Controller of Examinations Schools, AJK board, Mirpur, by hand or post, before the hard copy date.

The fine for a late hard copy from a school is Rs 2,000 at the first stage, Rs 3,000 at the second and Rs 4,000 at the third, up to Rs 5,000. For a private candidate it is Rs 500, Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500, up to Rs 3,000. Keep a photocopy of the form and the challan until the roll number slip arrives.
The August notice lists who can attest a private candidate's form. Inside AJK, that is the principal or headmaster of a government school or college. For serving soldiers it is the commanding officer, and for prisoners the jail superintendent. Private school heads cannot attest a private candidate's form.
