Your group on the roll number slip decides when you sit

English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Urdu, General Science, both Islamiyat papers and Fahm-ul-Quran are held in two groups. Your roll number slip names your group, and you must sit at the date and time printed there, whatever a friend's slip says.

The date sheet also says which syllabus you follow. Students taking class 9 for the first time sit under the federal board scheme, the national curriculum of 2022-23. Class 10, composite, part failure and improvement candidates sit under the AJK scheme. That is why some class 9 days list two versions of the same subject.

The board's instructions to centre superintendents say no candidate may sit a paper outside the allotted group under any circumstances. They also say that if a candidate has more than one paper at the same time, the centre must tell the board by phone at once, so the papers can be arranged across the morning and afternoon. If that applies to you, tell your centre on the first day.

Download the AJK roll number slip with your registration or application number

The board opened roll number slip downloads at 2:00 pm on Wednesday 28 October 2026. Private candidates enter their registration number, or the application number printed on their fee challan, at ajkbise.net. Regular candidates get slips through their school's login panel.

Practical dates for SSC 2nd annual 2026 are not out yet

The date sheet says the practical exam schedule will be issued later, and practical roll number slips will be put online then. As of 31 October 2026 we found no practical schedule for this exam on the board's site.

Keep checking the date sheets page. The board posts practical slips under a separate link, "SSC PII Practical RollNo Slips", which appeared on the homepage alongside the theory slips. The admission rules for this exam, including the double fee stage, are in our report on AJK board 9th class second annual admission. Class 9 students who move on to the 2027 annual exam face a new practical assessment, explained in AJK board matric 2027 practical based assessment.

First-year college students have a separate deadline this week: AJK board 11th class registration at the lowest fee now closes on 5 November.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 31 October 2026. We read the Urdu date sheet "Date Sheet SSC 2nd Annual Examination 2026", posted 27 October 2026 on the AJK BISE date sheets page, and the Urdu press release on roll number slips dated 28 October 2026, number 8084-8100, on the board's notifications page. Subject names are our translations, and some technical trade papers are grouped together in the tables to keep them readable. We did not download a slip, because that needs a candidate's number. We could not find a practical schedule.
