AJK District Courts Case Search by Case Number or CNIC: Cause List, Judgments and Deeds for All 10 Districts
Search an AJK district court case by case number or CNIC on ajkdistrictcourts.gok.pk, see cause lists for all 10 districts, judgments and the deeds registry.

The AJK district courts portal, ajkdistrictcourts.gok.pk, lets you search a district or sessions court case in Azad Kashmir by case number or by CNIC, see the daily cause list for any court in all 10 districts, read judgments and search registered deeds. It covers Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Kotli, Bhimber, Bagh, Poonch, Sudhnuti, Haveli, Neelum and Jhelum Valley. Each service, the case number format it expects and what to do when it says "No cases found" is below.
We opened the portal, run under the High Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, on 1 November 2026 and tried each search form. The portal's own welcome note says it was launched to give litigants daily cause lists, case progress updates and legal information online.
The portal has four searches: case, cause list, judgment and deeds
The menu offers Case Search, Causelist, Judgements and Deeds Registries Search. Case search works across the whole of AJK. The cause list and judgment searches ask you to choose a district and a court first. Deed search starts with the type of deed.
| Service | What you enter | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Case Search | Case number, or the party's 13 digit CNIC | Case title, nature, file number, last proceedings and next date |
| Cause List | District, court and date | Cases fixed before that court on that day |
| Judgements | District, court and case number | The judgment, where uploaded |
| Deeds Registries Search | Type of deed, from a list of 21 | Registered deeds of that type |

How to search your case by case number or CNIC
Open ajkdistrictcourts.gok.pk/case-search. Type the case number in the format the form shows, for example NLM/123/2024, where the letters are the court's code. Or leave it blank and enter a party's CNIC as 12345-1234567-1. Press Search.
- Open the Case Search page from the portal menu.
- Enter the case number with its court code and year, or a CNIC with dashes.
- Press Search and wait for the table to load.
- Read the columns: case number, title, nature, file number, proceedings and next date.
- Open Details for the full record, where it is available.
The results table is in Urdu. The column for the next date (آئندہ تاریخ) is the one most people need. We tried the sample number and the portal answered "No cases found", which is what you will see if the number or CNIC does not match a record.

The CNIC search helps when you do not have the case number
Many litigants never see the case number, which is written on the court file and the summons. The CNIC search finds cases linked to that CNIC. It only works if the court recorded the CNIC when the case was filed, so older cases may not appear.
If a CNIC search returns nothing, ask the lawyer or the court's record room for the case number, then search by number. A summons or notice usually carries the number at the top.
Daily cause lists cover every court in all 10 districts
The cause list search asks for three things: the district, the court and the date. Districts are listed in Urdu: Muzaffarabad, Bhimber, Bagh, Haveli, Kotli, Mirpur, Neelum, Poonch, Sudhnuti and Jhelum Valley. The court list then fills in for that district.
Check the list the evening before your date. If your case is not listed, it may have been adjourned or moved to another court, and the case search will show the new date. The High Court's own lists, for appeals and writs, are on a different site, covered in the AJK High Court case status check.

Deeds registry search lists 21 types of registered deed
The district courts portal also carries a register of deeds. Its Deeds Registries Search lets you pick the deed type first: sale deed (bai nama), general or special power of attorney, gift deed (hiba nama), lease, mortgage, will (wasiyat nama), waqf deed, partnership, exchange and others.
The list also has separate entries for bank mortgages, Zarai Taraqiati Bank mortgages and their release, and House Building Allowance mortgages. We could pick a type, but the next step did not load for us without a browser session, so we cannot say which fields it asks for or what a result shows.
Before you pay for land, a registered sale deed or power of attorney on record is a basic check. Rules on registering deeds and family documents in AJK are linked to other offices too, such as the union council for nikah, explained in registering a nikah or talaq in AJK.
Contact the district courts directly when the portal fails
The portal lists contact details for District Courts Muzaffarabad: Judicial Complex, Naluchi, Muzaffarabad, phone (+92) 05822-924245 or 924240, email muzafferabad@ajkhighcourt.gok.pk. The contact pages for the other nine districts were blank when we checked.
For other districts, go to the district court's record room or copy branch with your CNIC and any paper that names the case. For a court case in Gilgit-Baltistan, see the GB Chief Court case status check.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the AJK district courts portal home page, Case Search, Causelist, Judgements, Deeds Registries Search and Contact Us pages on 1 November 2026, and ran one case search with the sample number shown on the form. We could not complete a deeds search, and contact details were posted only for Muzaffarabad.
