You can check an AJK High Court case online at cfms.ajkhighcourt.gok.pk/Userside/Case_status by case number, case title, FIR number or party name, for the Muzaffarabad headquarters and the Mirpur, Rawalakot and Kotli circuit benches. The same court also posts daily cause lists, a certified copy tracker, an Android case app and an SMS service on 05822-924306. Every route, and what to do when your case does not show, is below.
We opened the High Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir website, ajkhighcourt.gok.pk, and its case management system on 1 November 2026. On that day the home page already listed the Muzaffarabad cause list for Monday 2 November 2026.
Four ways to search a case on the AJK High Court system
The case status page has four tabs: case number, case title, case FIR number and case parties. Each search first asks you to pick the bench: Headquarters Muzaffarabad, Circuit Mirpur, Circuit Rawalakot or Circuit Kotli. Labels inside the forms are in Urdu.

The case type list is long and also in Urdu. It includes writ petitions, civil and criminal revisions, family appeals, murder appeals, and pre-arrest and post-arrest bail petitions, with separate entries for the appellate bench.
How to check your AJK High Court case status
The result shows the hearing history: each date the case came up, the next date of hearing, the action taken and a short note of the proceedings, with a download link where an order is attached. It takes under a minute once you have the details.
- Open cfms.ajkhighcourt.gok.pk/Userside/Case_status in a browser.
- Choose the tab that matches what you know: number, title, FIR or party.
- Select the bench where the case was filed.
- Pick the case type from the Urdu list, if asked, and enter the details.
- Open the result and read the next hearing date and last order.
If nothing comes up, try the party name search, then the other benches. A case filed at the Mirpur circuit will not show under Muzaffarabad.
Daily cause lists are posted for each bench
The cause list is the court's list of cases fixed for hearing on a given day. AJK High Court posts it on the home page and on its cause lists page, by date, with separate columns for Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Kotli and Rawalakot.
On 1 November 2026 the home page showed lists for every working day from 23 October to 2 November for Muzaffarabad. The Mirpur circuit page showed its own lists, the latest dated 23 October. A bench that is not sitting on a day simply has no list for it, so check the bench schedule before you travel.
Open the list for your date and search the page for your case number or a party's name. If your case is listed, be in court at the start of the day, because cases are called in order.
Certified copies have their own tracker
When you apply for a certified copy of a judgment or order, track it on the Certified Copy Status page of the High Court website. You can select a bench or search all benches, and the page offers an on-screen Urdu keyboard for names.
Certified copies matter because an appeal to the AJK Supreme Court needs one. Apply as soon as the judgment is announced, and keep the application receipt, because appeal deadlines are counted in days and your lawyer will ask when you applied.
The case app and SMS service send hearing alerts
The court's Information Desk page lists an Android app called "AJK High Court (Case App)". It asks for your name, mobile number and CNIC, then sends free case update alerts. Registered lawyers and litigants also get daily case fixation SMS messages.
For a one-off check, the page describes a "pull SMS": send a message in the format AJK-HC@case code to 05822-924306. The page also mentions e-kiosk machines at the court for case information. The same number, 05822-924306, is the court's information line, and the email is info@ajkhighcourt.gok.pk.
We did not test the SMS format, because it needs a real case code. If the message gets no reply, call the information desk during office hours.
Where the AJK High Court and its benches sit
The headquarters is at Chattar Domail, Muzaffarabad. Circuit benches sit at Mirpur, Rawalakot and Kotli. The court says the Mirpur bench was first set up by Council Order No. 64/56 of 22 January 1956. Cases from the district courts of AJK come here on appeal and revision.

We did not run a search with a real case number or test the SMS service. The bench schedule page did not show dates for the current benches.
