Bahria University's Spring 2027 admissions opened on 12 October 2026 and close on 16 November at the Karachi campus and 17 December at the Islamabad and Lahore campuses, with the Bahria University Entry Test (BUET) two days after each closing date. Classes begin on 25 January 2027.

The dates differ by campus, and Karachi runs a full month ahead of the rest. We read Bahria's Spring 2027 admission plan on 24 October 2026 and set out every campus below, along with how BUET works, who can skip it, and the steps to apply on the Bahria CMS portal.

Karachi closes first on 16 November, Islamabad and Lahore on 17 December

Bahria lists seven campus columns in its Spring 2027 plan. Karachi (BUKC) closes on 16 November 2026 with BUET on 18 November. Islamabad E-8, Islamabad H-11, the Islamabad health sciences campus and Lahore close on 17 December with BUET on 19 December.

BUET runs in three sessions a day: 9:30 to 11:30 am, 12:00 to 2:00 pm, and 2:30 to 4:30 pm. Your admit slip tells you which one.

Karachi, Lahore and the Karachi health sciences campus run a second phase

Three campuses open a Phase II after the first round. Karachi's second phase runs from 23 November to 13 December 2026 with BUET on 15 December. Lahore's runs from 22 December 2026 to 14 January 2027 with BUET on 16 January.

The Karachi health sciences listing (BUHSCK/PNNC) also reopens from 22 December to 13 January, with BUET on 15 January at the Karachi campus and the result on 18 January. Islamabad shows no second phase in the plan, so an Islamabad applicant has one chance: 17 December.

Missed Karachi's 16 November date? Phase II is your route, and it is about three weeks long.

Classes start on 25 January 2027 for every campus

The common schedule at the bottom of the plan sets 25 January 2027 for the start of regular classes at all campuses. Interviews of shortlisted candidates are held "as convenient", meaning each department sets its own.

The plan also lists 22 January 2027 against the fee submission deadline, the orientation session and the start of weekend classes. The table layout groups these three rows together, so we cannot tell from the page whether all three fall on 22 January. Check your offer letter for your own fee deadline.

Apply on cms.bahria.edu.pk and pay the processing fee at Bank Alfalah or Allied Bank

Bahria's "How to apply" page sends national students to the CMS candidate login, where you create an account, fill the form, and generate a fee voucher. The processing fee is paid at any branch of Bank Alfalah or Allied Bank, after which you print the BUET admit slip.

  1. Open the Bahria University CMS candidate login and create an account.
  2. Fill in the online form step by step and choose your campus and programme.
  3. Generate the fee voucher and pay the admissions processing fee at Bank Alfalah or Allied Bank.
  4. Print the entry test slip (admit slip) once it is issued.
  5. Sit BUET at your campus on the scheduled date and session.
  6. Check the merit list on bahria.edu.pk, then pay the first semester fee if selected.

The page we read does not print the processing fee amount. It appears on the voucher the portal generates, so read it there. If you pay tuition and later withdraw, read the HEC fee refund policy for universities before you ask for money back.

Steps to apply for Bahria University Spring 2027 admission on the CMS portal

BUET has 100 MCQs in 120 minutes with no negative marking

Bahria's test page says the undergraduate BUET has 100 multiple-choice questions, each with four options, worth 100 marks, in 120 minutes, with no negative marking. The subject mix changes by programme: most programmes weight verbal ability at 50 per cent.

Programme groupBUET mix
Most non-engineering programmes50% verbal ability, 15% quantitative reasoning, 15% analytical reasoning, 20% general knowledge
Programmes tested on physics and maths30% verbal, 15% quantitative, 15% analytical, 10% physics, 30% maths
BS Psychology, BS English, BS Islamic Studies50% English, 25% general knowledge, 25% verbal reasoning
Programmes tested on science subjectsMixes that include biology, chemistry and physics

The page lists the mixes in a table without programme names on every row, so match your programme on the BUET page itself before you prepare. Since there is no negative marking, answer every question.

SAT holders and last year's BUET takers can skip the test

Bahria exempts two groups from BUET: applicants with a qualifying SAT score, and applicants who took BUET in the last year. Both must still register online and pay the registration fee, and upload their result card on the ETS scores page of the profile.

You can still sit BUET to improve an old score. The page says the best result counts for the merit list. If you are applying to several universities this winter, compare dates against the NUST NET 2027 registration and the IBA Karachi round 1 deadline, both of which fall in the same weeks.

The DPT programme at the Karachi health sciences campus has already closed

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) for Spring 2027 at BUHS-CK ran on a separate, earlier timetable. Applications closed on 22 October 2026, BUET started on 24 October at the Karachi campus, and the result is due on 30 October 2026.

If you applied, watch for the result on 30 October. If you did not, the DPT intake is closed for Spring 2027 and the next one is a later cycle.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read Bahria University's Spring 2027 admission plan, its "How to apply" page, its BUET subjects page and its test exemption page on bahria.edu.pk on 24 October 2026. The processing fee amount, the merit list date and the full list of programmes per campus were not on those pages. The plan's last common-schedule row groups three events against 22 January 2027, which we could not separate.
