Re-Admit a Class 9 Student at BISE Lahore: Rs 1,500 Fee and Rs 500 a Day Fine From 7 October
BISE Lahore Class 9 re-admission for 2026-28 costs Rs 1,500 per student, plus Rs 500 a day after 6 October. See who files it, the steps and how the fine adds.

Short answer: To re-admit a Class 9 student under BISE Lahore for the 2026 to 2028 session, the fee is Rs 1,500 per student. That fee was free of any fine until 6 October 2026. Since 7 October, the board adds a fine of Rs 500 per student for each day of delay.
Picture a family in Lahore whose son failed Class 9 and will repeat the year. The school says the board dates are over. The first fee window has closed, but the board still takes re-admissions, and every day now costs Rs 500 more.
We read the board's notification on BISE Lahore's own website on 12 October 2026. This is what it says, who must act, and how the fine adds up.
Re-admission costs Rs 1,500 per student, plus Rs 500 a day after 6 October
BISE Lahore's notification of 29 August 2026 sets one fee for re-admission to Class 9, Rs 1,500 per student. It was due without a fine from 7 September to 6 October 2026. From 7 October the fee stays Rs 1,500 and a fine of Rs 500 per student per day is added.
| Period | What a student pays |
|---|---|
| 7 September to 6 October 2026 | Rs 1,500, no late fine |
| From 7 October 2026 | Rs 1,500 plus Rs 500 for each day of delay |

The notification is numbered 704-Registration. It applies to regular and private students of government and private institutions affiliated with the board.
Re-admission is for a student who repeats Class 9 in the same institution
Re-admission, in the board's wording, means re-admitting a student in an institution for Class 9 in the 2026 to 2028 session. It is a different step from first-time enrolment. A first-time Class 9 student is enrolled, and the fee and dates for that are separate.
If your child is new to Class 9 this year, you want the enrolment schedule, not this one. The board's separate rules for new students are in the Class 9 enrolment fee and age rule.
Private candidates who sit exams without a school follow another route. The private registration dates for the 2027 matric exam are in the Matric 2027 private registration report.
The school head files the form, not the parent
The notification is addressed to heads of institutions. The head enters the re-admitted students' data online, pays the fee at the bank, and sends the printed form with the original bank challan to the board's office. A parent cannot do this alone.
That has a practical side. Ask the school office whether your child is on the re-admission list. Ask for the date it was sent. If the school is late, the fine for each day falls on the student.
The board's instruction to heads is firm on one point. The hard copy of the re-admission form and the original challan must reach the board's office, to the R&D section, along with the fee. A challan paid but not delivered does not complete the step.
The fine can run until the triple fee date of the 2027 admission schedule
The notification says that from 7 October re-admission can be done until the last date of the triple fee set in the admission schedule for the SSC first annual examination 2027. That schedule has not been published yet. We cannot give you a closing date.
Until the board sets that date, count the fine on a day-by-day basis. It also helps to remember that candidates must follow the exam admission schedule for their own forms. The board says re-admission does not replace it.
A simple example shows the cost. A student re-admitted 10 days after 6 October would owe Rs 1,500 plus 10 days at Rs 500, which is Rs 6,500. We have worked that out from the notification. The board has not printed a table of totals.
How the head of an institution completes a re-admission
Five steps cover it. Follow them in this order, because the bank step needs the online entry first.
- Enter the student's data in the board's online re-admission system.
- Print the re-admission form and check the name, father's name and roll number.
- Pay Rs 1,500 per student, and any daily fine, at the bank with the board's challan.
- Take the printed form and the original challan to the board's R&D section.
- Keep the stamped copy. It is your proof that the student was re-admitted.

For help the board refers heads to its registration branch, room 110, and its phone lines at 042 99200192 to 197. Those numbers are on the board's own website.
