BISE Peshawar Service Time Limits Under KP Law: Same-Day Migration, 1-Day Corrections and All 12 Services

Under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's right to public services law, BISE Peshawar must issue a migration certificate or a duplicate DMC the same day, correct your name, father's name or date of birth in 1 day, verify a DMC or certificate within 3 days, and finish retotalling within 30 days. If it misses a limit, appeal to the board Chairman first, then complain to the KP Right to Public Services Commission at kprts.gov.pk.
Most students treat a slow board office as something to wait out. In KP, these 12 board services are notified public services, each with a fixed time and a named officer responsible. BISE Peshawar posts the list itself, on a Right to Public Services Commission poster on its website. We read it on 2 November 2026. BISE Peshawar has 12 notified services with fixed time limits
The poster lists 12 services. Seven are the responsibility of the board Secretary, including certificates, verification, corrections and migration. Five sit with the Controller of Examinations, including duplicate DMCs, unfair means appeals, result cancellation and retotalling. Each has a set number of days.

Keep proof of the date you applied to BISE Peshawar
A time limit only helps if you can prove when you applied. Keep the receipt, challan or online reference for every application to BISE Peshawar, with the date. Without it, you cannot show that the 1 day or 30 days have passed.
Make sure your file is complete too. A missing CNIC copy or photo gives the office a reason to say the clock never started. - Note the date you applied and keep the receipt or online reference.

- If it has passed, write a short appeal to the Chairman, BISE Peshawar, with copies of your receipt.
- Keep proof that you delivered the appeal, such as a stamped copy.
- If the Chairman does not resolve it, file a complaint with the KP Right to Public Services Commission online.
- Track the complaint on kprts.gov.pk with the reference it gives you.
Keep the appeal factual and short. State the service, the date, the limit and the delay. A calm, dated record is far more useful to an appeal officer than an angry one.
The KP Right to Public Services Commission hears the final appeal
The poster names the Chief Commissioner of the KP Right to Public Services Commission as the final appeal. The commission's office is at 12A Chinar Road, University Town, Peshawar, and its number on the poster is 091-9216375. Online complaints go through kprts.gov.pk.
The commission's online complaints page has two buttons, New Complaint and Track Complaint. It describes its job as holding officials to account for "refusal, delay, deficiency or lack of transparency" in notified services, under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Right to Public Services Act, 2014. The same page lists a second number, 0337-1120029, and the email pschief.rts@kp.gov.pk.

Other KP boards follow the same law
The Right to Public Services Act covers KP departments and bodies that have notified their services. We read BISE Peshawar's poster only. Boards in Mardan, Abbottabad, Swat, Kohat, Bannu, Malakand and DI Khan may have their own notified lists and time limits, so check each board's website before you rely on these numbers there.
