Short answer: BISE Gujranwala holds the Class 9 (Part I) papers of the SSC second annual exam 2026 from Saturday 17 October to Wednesday 28 October. Class 10 theory papers run from 6 to 16 October, and Class 10 practicals from 30 October to 12 November. Morning papers start at 9:00 am and evening papers at 2:00 pm.

Most families watch the first paper date and forget the rest. At Gujranwala the second annual exam is split in two. Class 10 sits first and Class 9 follows with no gap day, so a student who failed one subject in each class has two separate runs to track.

We read the board's date sheet, issued by the Controller of Examinations on 14 September 2026, on the BISE Gujranwala website on 12 October 2026. It is an Urdu PDF. This page gives the dates, times and rules in plain language.

The notice gives the usual exam-hall rules and a few that students often miss. A roll number slip issued "provisionally" can be cancelled after the exam if the candidate was found ineligible, so clear any doubt with the board now.

  1. Carry your roll number slip and sit only in the group printed on it.
  2. Do not use blades, correction fluid or similar items on the answer sheet.
  3. Do not use a lead pencil on objective papers or practical answer sheets.
  4. You may use a calculator in the secondary school exam. Mobile phones are not allowed in the centre.
  5. If any detail on the slip is wrong, contact the board before the paper, not after.
