Check Facebook Content Monetization in Pakistan: Invite-Only, and Pakistan Is Not on Meta's List
Facebook Content Monetization is invite-only and Pakistan is not on Meta's country list. See what Meta says, how to check your invite and which offers to avoid.

Short answer: Facebook Content Monetization is invite-only. You cannot apply for it, you can only show interest in a form, and Meta says the form is not an application. Meta's country list for the programme, which we read on 11 October 2026, does not include Pakistan. Never pay anyone who sells you an "invite".
Many Pakistani creators still believe Facebook pays for views the old way, through in-stream ads or a bonus programme. Those ended on 31 August 2025. What replaced them works differently, and the eligibility rules are stricter than most videos on YouTube suggest.
We read two Meta help pages on 11 October 2026: the page about the programme and the page that lists the countries and languages where it applies. We did not log in to a Facebook account or test an invite, so what follows is what Meta publishes, nothing more.

The old Facebook earning programmes ended on 31 August 2025
Meta says In-stream Ads, Ads on Reels and the Performance Bonus Program ended on 31 August 2025. That was the last day creators could earn from them. Eligible creators are invited to Facebook Content Monetization instead.
If a video or an agent still tells you to "turn on in-stream ads" for a Pakistani page, it is describing something Meta shut down. Treat it as a warning sign, not as a tip.
Facebook Content Monetization is invite-only
Meta describes the programme as invite-only. Invitations come through official in-product channels: the Facebook app, email, Meta Business Suite and the Professional dashboard. You can use an interest form, but Meta says it is not an application and does not guarantee an invite.
That means two things for you. Do not wait for a stranger on Messenger to "approve" you. And do not hand a password or a fee to anyone, because a real invite never needs either. Meta itself warns creators not to click suspicious links outside its official channels.
Pakistan is not on Meta's country list
Meta's page on country and language availability lists the countries and territories where the programme's ads are available. It names Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka in our region. We did not find Pakistan on that list. Urdu does appear in the language list, marked with an asterisk.
We want to be fair about what this proves. The list is about where content can be monetised with ads. The programme page itself does not name any country as eligible or banned, and Meta can change both pages at any time. So the safe reading is: Pakistan is not listed today, and Meta has not announced a date.
| What we checked | What Meta's page says | What it means for Pakistani creators |
|---|---|---|
| Programme status | Invite-only | No open application |
| Country list | Pakistan not listed; Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka are | Do not plan income around it yet |
| Language list | Urdu listed with an asterisk | Language is not the main blocker; the asterisk note was not visible in our copy |
| Old programmes | Ended 31 August 2025 | Ignore advice to switch them on |

What content earns once you are invited
Meta pays for the performance of eligible public reels, photos, stories and text posts, based on qualified views and watch time. Reels must run at least 10 seconds and stories at least 5 seconds. Content with watch time under 5 seconds does not qualify.
Some content is ineligible even then: boosted posts, content crossposted from a Page you do not own, content with a lost ownership claim, and posts where ads are disabled. Meta may withhold payment while an ownership claim is reviewed, and another claimant may receive part of the earnings.
Check your status in five steps
You can look for an invite without paying anyone. Use only your own Facebook app or Meta Business Suite. If a Content monetization option is not there, you have no invite, and no outside person can create one.
- Switch your profile to Professional mode if you use a profile, or open your Page.
- Open the Professional dashboard and look for Monetize, then Content monetization.
- If you see Get Started, read and accept the terms, then fill in the payout details.
- If you see no option, use Meta's interest form once and wait.
- Post only content you own, because Meta lists lost ownership claims as a reason for withheld or removed payouts.

Plan income around what is open to Pakistanis
Do not build a budget on a Facebook payout that Meta has not offered to creators in Pakistan. Use channels with published rules here, such as the YouTube Partner Programme changes. It also helps to read what TikTok actually pays creators in Pakistan before you move your effort there.
If you earn from any platform, you still have a tax duty. The FBR rules for declaring YouTube and TikTok income in a tax return apply to creator income in general, so keep your payout records from the first rupee.
Common questions
Can I apply for Facebook Content Monetization?
No, it is invite-only. Meta offers an interest form, but says it is not an application and does not guarantee an invite. Invites arrive inside the Facebook app, by email, in Meta Business Suite or on the Professional dashboard.
Is Facebook Content Monetization available in Pakistan?
Pakistan was not on Meta's country list when we read it on 11 October 2026. Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka were. Check the page again before you act, because Meta can update it.
Did Facebook stop in-stream ads and the Performance Bonus?
Yes. Meta says In-stream Ads, Ads on Reels and the Performance Bonus Program ended on 31 August 2025, which was the last day creators could earn from them.
Do agents or Telegram groups sell real invites?
We found nothing on Meta's pages that supports paying anyone for an invite. Meta says real invites come from its own channels, and some may come from approved agency partners under its Creator Fast Track programme. Confirm any such invite inside your own Meta tools.
How long must a Facebook reel be to earn?
Reels must be at least 10 seconds and stories at least 5 seconds. Content with watch time under 5 seconds does not qualify. These are Meta's minimums, and they do not guarantee earnings.
Do I pay tax on Facebook earnings in Pakistan?
Income earned from creator work is declared in your return. Which rate applies depends on your profile and registration, so read the FBR guidance on creator income before filing.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Checked on 11 October 2026 on Meta's help pages About Facebook Content Monetization for creators and Facebook Content Monetization: Country and language availability. We did not test an account. If Pakistan is added, this page will be updated.
