Short answer: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police computer based test (CBT) result for 2026 is on the NPF-TAS portal at npftas.pk/result. Choose your post, enter your CNIC without dashes and your mobile number, answer the small sum, and press Search. The page lists six ministerial posts and four executive posts.

Picture a candidate who sat the CBT weeks ago, and now gets three different links on WhatsApp, each claiming to hold the result. Only one place is the recruiter's own. We opened npftas.pk on 12 October 2026, where a public notice on the home page reads "ICT Police Ministerial and Executive Staff 2026 - CBT Result".

We did not search with a real CNIC, so we cannot show you a result or a pass mark. This guide covers what we saw on the pages and how to use them without trouble.

The result page covers ten ICT Police posts

The page is headed "Islamabad Capital Territory Police - 2026" and has two groups. Executive Staff has four entries and Ministerial Staff has six. Pick the exact post you applied for, because the search is separate for each.

BS means Basic Pay Scale, the government grade of a post. A higher number is a more senior post.

You need your CNIC, your mobile number and a small sum

The search form asks for three things: your CNIC without dashes, your mobile number, and the answer to a short addition question such as 8 plus 5. The question changes each time you load the page. There is no roll number field.

Use the CNIC and the mobile number you gave on your application. If you changed your SIM since then, try the number from your roll number slip.

  1. Type npftas.pk/result into your browser yourself. Do not use a link from a message.
  2. Under "Islamabad Capital Territory Police - 2026", pick your post from the Executive Staff or Ministerial Staff list.
  3. Enter your 13 digit CNIC with no dashes.
  4. Enter your mobile number.
  5. Solve the sum on the page.
  6. Press Search and save a screenshot of the result.
Six steps to check the ICT Police CBT result on the NPF-TAS portal using a CNIC

Use only the NPF-TAS address

NPF-TAS is the testing arm of the National Police Foundation, and the result page sits on its own domain, npftas.pk. Any site that asks you to pay or share an OTP before showing a result is not the recruiter. Our guide on fake online job offers in Pakistan lists the common signs.

The address to trust ends in npftas.pk. Check the part before the first single slash, as we explain for another body in our note on the real PPSC website. The same habit works for every recruiter.

Earlier in this recruitment, reports said ministerial staff candidates were told to download updated roll number slips from the same portal. If you still hold an older slip, your test details may be out of date. Open the portal again to get the current slip.

What we could not confirm

The home page notice does not show a date, pass marks or the next stage, and the result page carries no further text. So we cannot tell you when the result was posted, what score qualifies, or whether a physical test or interview follows.

The notice calls the result a CBT result for both groups. We could not confirm if one group has another stage. Watch the portal and the Islamabad Police's own channels for the next notice. If your name does not appear, do not assume a failure at once. Try the other mobile number, re-check each CNIC digit and try again later in the day, then call the helpline below.

The National Police Foundation lists 051-8466800 and info@npftas.pk as its contact points in its current job advertisement. We saw the same help desk number on the NPF-TAS home page. Our report on the foundation's own National Police Foundation jobs closing on 15 October covers a separate round.

Common questions

Where is the ICT Police CBT result 2026?

It is on npftas.pk/result, linked from the home page notice. The page is titled Islamabad Capital Territory Police 2026.

Do I need my roll number to check the result?

No. The form we saw asks for your CNIC without dashes, your mobile number and a sum. There is no roll number field.

Which posts are covered?

Four executive posts: ASI and three types of constable. Six ministerial posts: Assistant, Production Assistant, UDC, LDC, Steno Typist and Data Entry Operator.

What is the pass mark?

We could not find a pass mark on the pages we read. The result page and the home page notice do not state one.

Is there a fee to see the result?

No fee field or payment step appears on the result form. Treat any site that asks for money for a result as a scam.

What if my result does not load?

Check your CNIC has no dashes and retry the sum. If it still fails, call 051-8466800 or write to info@npftas.pk.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the home page and the result page of the NPF-TAS portal at npftas.pk on 12 October 2026. We did not submit a CNIC. The portal can change its layout, so go to the home page notice if the result link moves.
