Short answer: The National Police Foundation (NPF) is hiring for 13 contract posts in 12 job titles, and the last date to apply is 15 October 2026. You apply online on the NPF Testing and Assessment Service portal, npftas.pk, and pay Rs 2,000 per post by 1Link challan. The fee is not refundable, and each post you choose needs its own fee.

We read the advertisement PDF and the job listing on npftas.pk on 12 October 2026. Everything below comes from those two documents. The portal shows the advertisement as published on 30 September 2026, so the window is short: three days remain.

These are senior and technical jobs, not constable or clerk posts. If you want police constable work, our report on Punjab Police constable jobs covers a different round.

13 posts in 12 job titles, all on contract

The advertisement lists 12 job titles. Eleven carry one post each and the Administrator (Housing Scheme) carries two, which makes 13 posts. Appointments are on contract for an initial period of two years, which can be extended.

Age is counted on 15 October 2026, with 5 years of relaxation

The advertisement fixes the cut-off date for age at the closing date, 15 October 2026. It also says an upper age relaxation of five years applies as per Federal Government rules. The advertisement does not list the individual groups who get it.

Check your age on that exact date, not on the day you apply. Someone who turns 36 on 10 October is already over the 35 year limit for the Deputy Assistant Director posts, unless relaxation applies. For the federal rules on who gets extra years, read our guide to age relaxation for FPSC jobs. That guide covers FPSC, so confirm the NPF position with the helpline before you rely on it.

Maximum age for key National Police Foundation posts, from 35 to 52 years, counted on 15 October 2026

Qualifications differ sharply by post

Most posts need a 16 year Master's or Bachelor's degree from an HEC recognised university, plus years of experience. Two posts differ: the Deputy Assistant Director (Works) asks for a diploma in Civil Engineering, and the Assistant (TAS) asks for F.A.

The experience asks are specific. The Legal Adviser needs an LL.M and 15 years of post-qualification experience. Director Finance needs 15 years, with at least 8 in a managerial finance role. Additional Director Security (Operations) needs 15 years, and retired armed forces officers of Lieutenant Colonel rank or equivalent police or law enforcement officers may be considered. The Administrator (Housing Scheme) post asks for retired Subedar Major or equivalent, or retired police or law enforcement personnel of Inspector rank or equivalent, with 10 years of experience.

The two software posts ask for a Computer Science or Software Engineering degree. The Senior Software Engineer needs an MS or MPhil and over 10 years of experience, with PHP (Laravel), MySQL and MS SQL Server named. The Junior Developer needs a Bachelor's degree and 2 to 3 years of experience. The advertisement has the full wording for each post, so read your own row before you pay.

Six steps to apply for National Police Foundation jobs on npftas.pk and pay the Rs 2,000 fee

The advertisement says no documents, photos or forms are needed in hard copy until the interview stage. Fees go only through the PSID on the challan. Anyone who asks you to send money to a personal account is not NPF. Our guide on fake online job offers in Pakistan lists the common signs.

What happens after you apply

Only shortlisted candidates are called for a test or interview, and no travel or daily allowance is paid. Serving government and semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel and bring a valid NOC at the interview. NPF says updates come through the portal, SMS and email.

NPF also reserves the right to change the number of posts, reject any or all applications, or cancel the process at any stage. We could not find a test date on the portal, so none is stated here. The same portal already shows results for a separate police round, which we explain in our steps to check the ICT Police CBT result.
