Check SNGPL Low Pressure and Shutdown Notices for Your Area in Punjab and KP
SNGPL posts shutdown and low pressure notices on its website, but the pages are thin and undated. See where to look and what to do next, starting with 1199.

SNGPL posts gas shutdown and low pressure notices under Media Center on sngpl.com.pk, but the pages are thin: on 22 October 2026 the shutdown page held one image and the low pressure page held one Multan notice with no date. Call 1199 or lodge a complaint online if the notice does not match your street.
Cold mornings bring the same question in every Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa street: is the gas gone for today, or only for an hour? We opened both notice pages and the SNGPL front page on 22 October 2026 and read what they carry. This guide tells you where to look, how much to trust it and what to do when nothing is posted.
SNGPL keeps two notice pages under Media Center
The two pages are "Shut Down Notice" and "Low Pressure Notice". Both sit in the Media Center menu of the website, and an Urdu version is linked. They are the only official place on the site where SNGPL lists area-level supply problems.
Each page has no search box and no area filter. You scroll and look for your city and locality. The footer shows "Last Update 21/10/2026", which is the date of the website footer. It does not date any single notice.
| Page | What we found on 22 October 2026 | Dated? |
|---|---|---|
| Shut Down Notice | One image file, named in a way that suggests a Rawalpindi notice from 18 February 2026 | Not in the text |
| Low Pressure Notice | One notice for Sadat Colony main street near Jamia Masjid Umar-e-Farooq, Multan | No |

The shutdown notice is an image, so the details are not searchable
The shutdown page shows a single embedded image, not text. The file name, which includes "20260218" and "rwp", suggests a notice from 18 February 2026 for Rawalpindi. The page does not say so, and it gives no area, duration or reason in text. We could not read the image itself.
That matters. An image notice is not found by a search engine or read aloud by a phone reader. If you rely on it, open the page and look at the picture. If the date on the picture is old, it does not describe today's supply.
For an unplanned outage, a planned notice is not the answer. Treat it as a record of past work, not a live feed.
The low pressure notice lists the problem and a promised fix time
The low pressure page lists notices as bullet points under a city name. The Multan notice says the problem "will be rectified in 01 day". It gives no start date, no cause and no time. So the promise cannot be checked against a calendar.
Read such a line carefully. "In 01 day" is counted from a date we do not have. If the notice has been on the page for weeks, the fix either happened or did not, and you should ask. Our guide to SSGC complaint timelines shows the pattern for SSGC, the gas company in Sindh.
When no notice matches your street, complain and track it

SNGPL's front page lists a helpline of 1199 and head office numbers 92 42 99082000-06 and 92 42 99080000. It also links Lodge Complaint and Track Your Complaint pages, plus an email address for customer services at customerservices@sngpl.com.pk.
- Check the Low Pressure Notice page for your city and locality.
- Check the Shut Down Notice page and read the date on the image.
- If your street is missing, call 1199 and give your customer number and area.
- Lodge a complaint on the SNGPL website and note the complaint number it gives.
- Use Track Your Complaint to see the status, and call again with the number if it stalls.

The step-by-step for the complaint itself is in the SNGPL and SSGC gas complaint guide. If low pressure is a winter pattern in your area, see the government's order for who gets gas first in the winter gas supply priority.
Plan around notices you cannot count on
Because the pages are not dated or complete, do not plan a day around them. Keep a second way to cook and heat, and store LPG with care. The safe-use rules are in LPG cylinder safety.
These are our suggestions, not SNGPL's. SNGPL itself says nothing on these pages about winter schedules or alternate fuel.
Common questions about SNGPL notices
Where do I find SNGPL low pressure notices?
On sngpl.com.pk under Media Center, on the page called Low Pressure Notice.
Are the notices dated?
Not in the text we read. The Multan notice had no date, and the shutdown page showed an image.
What is the SNGPL helpline?
1199, listed on the SNGPL front page. Head office lines are 92 42 99082000-06 and 92 42 99080000.
Can I track my complaint online?
SNGPL links a Track Your Complaint page on its front page. We did not submit a complaint to test it.
Does SNGPL announce winter gas hours on these pages?
We did not find any winter schedule on the two notice pages on 22 October 2026.
Is the Multan notice still current?
We cannot say. It had no date, so confirm with SNGPL before you rely on it.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 22 October 2026. We read SNGPL's front page, its Shut Down Notice page and its Low Pressure Notice page at sngpl.com.pk on that date. We could not read the image on the shutdown page, so its contents and date are unknown, and the date "18 February 2026" is only an inference from the file name. We did not call 1199, use the complaint pages or test any notice against a real outage.
