Compare Mobile Packages in Pakistan With PTA's Price Tracker
PTA lists quarterly prices for the top 15 bundles of Jazz, Zong, Ufone and Telenor. See how to compare them, rupees per GB, and how to complain about a rise.

PTA publishes the prices of the 15 most popular bundles of Jazz, Zong, Ufone and Telenor, quarter by quarter, on one page. Open pta.gov.pk, go to Consumer Awareness, then Tariffs, then Quarterly Price Tracking, and pick your network. You see each bundle's price from June 2025 to June 2026, what it gives you, and how much it rose in a year.
We opened that page on 6 October 2026 and read the figures for all 60 bundles. The averages are plain. Over fiscal year 2026, PTA puts the average yearly rise in the top 15 bundles at 17.5% for Telenor, 15.5% for Jazz, 14.4% for Zong and 14.3% for Ufone.
The tracker answers one question well: is my bundle still good value?
PTA's Quarterly Price Tracking page lists 15 bundles per network
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, the telecom regulator, runs a page called "Tariff Changes of Top 15 Hybrid and Data Only Bundles of Mobile Operators". It covers Jazz, Ufone, Telenor and Zong, with five price points each, from June 2025 to June 2026.
A hybrid bundle gives you calls, SMS and data together. A data-only bundle gives just internet. For every bundle PTA shows:
- The name and validity, such as 7 days or 30 days
- The price at the end of each quarter: June 2025, September 2025, December 2025, March 2026 and June 2026
- The yearly rise in rupees and in per cent
- What the bundle gives, in GB, minutes and SMS
PTA notes that its prices include withholding tax and GST, so they are the recharge price, the amount that leaves your balance.
How to compare mobile packages on PTA's tracker in five steps
The whole check takes about two minutes on a phone. You need your bundle's exact name, which the operator's app or subscription SMS shows.
- Open pta.gov.pk. In the top menu, go to Consumer Awareness, then Tariffs, then Quarterly Price Tracking.
- Tap your network: Jazz, Ufone, Telenor or Zong.
- Find your bundle by name in the table. Read the June 2026 price and the yearly rise.
- Note the GB, minutes and SMS. Divide the price by the GB to get a rupees per GB figure.
- Repeat for the other three networks, and compare bundles of the same validity.
The same Tariffs menu has a second item, Current Prices, with full tariff sheets for prepaid, postpaid, hybrid and broadband plans, last updated on 30 June 2026.
Two limits matter. The tracker stops at June 2026, so a bundle may have moved since. And PTA itself tells people to confirm the latest details on the operator's website, app or call centre before buying.
Monthly bundles rose by up to Rs 500 a year, weekly by up to Rs 130
On PTA's figures, three Jazz monthly bundles rose by Rs 500 between June 2025 and June 2026. Telenor's 90 Day Power Pack rose by Rs 700. The steepest rises in per cent were 33%, on Telenor's 15 Days Extreme and Weekly All-in-One Plus.
| Bundle | Validity | June 2025 | June 2026 | Rise |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Telenor 90 Day Power Pack | 90 days | Rs 3,000 | Rs 3,700 | Rs 700 (23%) |
| Jazz Monthly X Plus | 30 days | Rs 2,600 | Rs 3,100 | Rs 500 (19%) |
| Jazz Insane Vibe | 30 days | Rs 2,500 | Rs 3,000 | Rs 500 (20%) |
| Jazz Monthly Freedom | 30 days | Rs 2,500 | Rs 3,000 | Rs 500 (20%) |
| Telenor 15 Days Extreme | 15 days | Rs 900 | Rs 1,200 | Rs 300 (33%) |
| Telenor Weekly All-in-One Plus | 7 days | Rs 400 | Rs 530 | Rs 130 (33%) |
| Zong Haftawar Load Offer | 7 days | Rs 450 | Rs 580 | Rs 130 (29%) |
Not everything went up. Telenor's Monthly Prime stayed at Rs 2,300 and Monthly Extreme Ultra Max at Rs 2,000. Zong's Monthly WhatsApp Prime and WhatsApp Plus Offer did not move. Ufone's Social Champion is now Rs 50 cheaper than in June 2025, at Rs 350. The broader story of mobile package prices going up is real, but it is uneven, and that is exactly why a bundle-by-bundle check pays.
Rupees per GB shows which 100 GB bundle is cheapest
Dividing price by data is the fastest fair comparison for heavy internet users. On PTA's June 2026 prices, Telenor's Monthly Prime works out to about Rs 7.7 per GB, and Jazz's Monthly X Plus to about Rs 15.5. Minutes and SMS differ, so treat this as a first filter, not a verdict.
| Bundle | Validity | Price | Data | About Rs per GB |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Telenor Weekly Prime | 7 days | Rs 620 | 100 GB | 6.2 |
| Ufone Weekly Grand Offer | 7 days | Rs 630 | 100 GB | 6.3 |
| Zong Weekly Digital Max | 7 days | Rs 730 | 100 GB | 7.3 |
| Jazz Weekly X Plus | 7 days | Rs 800 | 100 GB | 8.0 |
| Telenor Monthly Prime | 30 days | Rs 2,300 | 300 GB | 7.7 |
| Jazz Insane Vibe | 30 days | Rs 3,000 | 200 GB | 15.0 |
| Ufone Digital Grand Offer | 30 days | Rs 2,200 | 100 GB | 22.0 |
The per GB figures are our own sums from PTA's prices. Zong's top 15 has no monthly bundle with 100 GB or more, so it does not appear in the monthly rows.
Cheap per GB is not cheap overall. If you use 10 GB a month, a smaller bundle still costs you less money. Check your real usage first. Each network shows it, and the steps to check remaining Jazz MBs and minutes work the same way on most networks.
Weekly bundles cost more over a month than monthly ones
Four weeks of a weekly bundle can cost more than one monthly bundle on the same network. Jazz Weekly X Plus at Rs 800 comes to about Rs 3,429 over 30 days. Jazz Monthly X Plus costs Rs 3,100 for the same 30 days. That gap is Rs 329 a month, or close to Rs 4,000 a year.
Rs 800 is easier to find than Rs 3,100 on one day, and that is a real reason to buy weekly. But if you can pay monthly, you usually pay less.
A price change you were not told about can go to PTA
A higher price on its own is not something PTA's tracker calls wrong. But being charged more than the price you were told when you subscribed, or being renewed at a new price with no message, is a complaint. Raise it with your operator first, then with PTA.
- Collect proof: the subscription SMS showing the old price, the deduction SMS showing the new one, and the dates.
- Call your operator's helpline or use its app. Ask for a refund and get a complaint reference number.
- If it is not fixed, file with PTA's Complaint Management System at complaint.pta.gov.pk, or call PTA's helpline on 0800-55055. Quote the operator's reference number.
Most people skip step 2, and it is the step that decides whether a complaint to PTA about your mobile network goes anywhere. If the renewal keeps happening, the faster fix is to unsubscribe from the Jazz package or the matching one on your network, then buy again only when you choose.
We could not read the text of PTA's consumer protection regulations on its website, so we do not state a fixed notice period that operators must give before a price change. Ask the operator to show you the notice it sent.
Common questions
Where is PTA's mobile package price comparison?
On pta.gov.pk under Consumer Awareness, then Tariffs, then Quarterly Price Tracking. Pick Jazz, Ufone, Telenor or Zong to see that network's top 15 bundles.
Do PTA's prices include tax?
Yes. PTA says the prices include withholding tax and GST, so they match the recharge price taken from your balance.
Which network raised prices the most?
Telenor, on average. PTA puts its average yearly rise in the top 15 bundles at 17.5% in fiscal year 2026, against 15.5% for Jazz, 14.4% for Zong and 14.3% for Ufone.
Can I complain to PTA just because my package got more expensive?
You can complain if you were charged more than you were told, or renewed at a new price without notice. Go to the operator first and keep the reference number.
Is a weekly bundle cheaper than a monthly one?
Usually not over a month. Jazz Weekly X Plus costs about Rs 3,429 over 30 days, against Rs 3,100 for Jazz Monthly X Plus.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 6 October 2026. Every bundle price, validity, data allowance and yearly rise comes from PTA's Tariff Changes of Top 15 Hybrid and Data Only Bundles of Mobile Operators page, read on that date, including its note that prices include withholding tax and GST and its average yearly rise for each operator. The full tariff sheets dated 30 June 2026 are on PTA's Current Prices page. The 0800-55055 helpline is from PTA's own complaints pages. Rupees per GB and the weekly against monthly sums are our own arithmetic from PTA's figures.
