Daraz pays sellers in Pakistan once a week for orders marked Delivered: your statement appears in Seller Center under MyIncome one day after the cycle closes, and the money reaches your bank by interbank transfer five days after it closes. Before it pays, Daraz deducts its commission, a 2.25% payment fee and an item handling fee of Rs 10 to Rs 60 per item. Below is the timeline, every deduction with a worked example, and what to check when a payout looks short or late.

We read the Payment Policy page on Daraz University, Daraz's own seller training site, and the Seller Center sign-up page on 27 October 2026. The policy page carries the date 15 August 2024, so it is the version Daraz currently shows, not a new change.

Daraz pays weekly, on a t+1 and t+5 timeline

Daraz settles delivered orders weekly. Calling the last day of the cycle "t", your statement shows in MyIncome on t+1 and the money is sent to your bank on t+5. If either date falls on a weekend or public holiday, it moves to the next business day.

Daraz's own example cycle runs from 2 to 8 September, a Monday to a Sunday in the year the page was written. On that pattern, the statement comes on Monday and the transfer on Friday. That reading of the example is ours; your Seller Center shows your exact dates.

Daraz seller weekly payment timeline in Pakistan

Only Delivered orders get paid

Daraz bases seller payments on orders marked Delivered to the customer in Seller Center. Items still in transit or sitting at a Daraz warehouse do not count yet. They show on the Order Management and Product Management tabs until delivery is confirmed.

So a busy sale week does not mean a big payout the following week. The money follows deliveries, and a parcel delivered on Monday of the next cycle waits a full extra week.

If a customer returns an item after Daraz has already paid you for it, Daraz deducts the same amount in your next payment cycle and sends the product back to you. Returns therefore show up as a smaller payout one or two weeks later. The customer side of this, including the 14 day window, is in Daraz return and refund rules.

Four deductions come off every payout

Daraz pays you after taking four kinds of deduction: its marketplace commission, a payment fee of 2.25% of order value, an item handling fee set by price band, and any penalties or withholding for breaking its policies. These apply to prepaid and cash on delivery orders alike.

Item price (Rs)Item handling fee (Rs)
0 to 50010
501 to 1,00015
1,000 to 2,00020
2,001 and above60

The handling fee is charged per item, so two units of a Rs 4,829 product cost Rs 120 in handling, as Daraz's own example shows. Digital goods, top-ups, charity and donation listings, service products, special digital products and Seller Own Fleet orders are exempt from it.

The commission is a percentage that depends on the product category. Daraz publishes the category rates on a separate Daraz University page. Opening a shop is free, and new sellers get 0% platform commission for their first 30 days, according to Seller Center. The wider fee picture is in Daraz seller fees in Pakistan.

Daraz item handling fee by price band

A worked example on a Rs 1,500 sale

For one item sold at Rs 1,500, Daraz takes a 2.25% payment fee of Rs 33.75 and a Rs 20 handling fee, a total of Rs 53.75 before commission. The commission then depends on your category. This arithmetic is ours, from Daraz's published rates.

  1. Start with the item price: Rs 1,500.
  2. Payment fee at 2.25%: Rs 1,500 times 0.0225 equals Rs 33.75.
  3. Item handling fee for the Rs 1,000 to 2,000 band: Rs 20.
  4. Subtotal of fixed deductions: Rs 53.75, leaving Rs 1,446.25.
  5. Take your category commission off that figure to reach your payout.
Daraz 2.25 percent payment fee on each seller order

Daraz's table puts Rs 1,000 in two bands, 501 to 1,000 and 1,000 to 2,000. An item priced exactly at Rs 1,000 could be charged Rs 15 or Rs 20. Check your MyIncome statement for the figure Daraz actually applied.

Keep the signed airway bill for three months

To stay eligible for payment, Daraz says you must keep a copy of the signed airway bill for at least three months for every product handed to a Daraz-certified shipping provider. Without it, you have no proof of handover if a parcel goes missing.

A simple habit works: photograph each signed bill at handover and keep the photos in a folder named by month. Three months of bills takes little space on a phone.

Daraz also says it can impose penalties or withhold payouts, in whole or in part, when a seller breaks its policies. In cases involving government or regulatory bodies, it may hold payouts until the matter is cleared. If a payout is missing entirely, check Seller Center notifications for a policy notice before anything else.

When a Daraz payout is short or late

Start with the MyIncome statement on t+1. It lists each order, the commission, payment fee and handling fee, and any return deductions. Returns from earlier weeks and orders not yet marked Delivered are the two causes Daraz's policy itself explains.

  • Order not Delivered yet: it moves to a later cycle.
  • Return after payment: deducted from the next cycle.
  • Holiday: the t+5 transfer moves to the next business day.
  • Penalty or withholding: look for a policy notice in Seller Center.
  • Bank details: the transfer goes by interbank funds transfer, so check the account details saved in Seller Center.

Selling online is business income. Once payouts become regular, look at registering for e-commerce tax as an online seller.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read Daraz's Payment Policy on Daraz University and the Daraz Seller Center page on 27 October 2026. We do not sell on Daraz, so we could not see a live MyIncome statement, the category commission rates, or whether any seller is on a different schedule. The payout weekday is our reading of Daraz's example cycle.
