EFU Life Policy Check: WhatsApp, Helpline 111-EFU-111, SMS 9898 and Client Login (Every Method)
Check an EFU Life policy on WhatsApp or 021-111-338-111, by SMS to 9898 or on the client login. Pay the premium by card, 1Link or from abroad, and reinstate.

To check an EFU Life policy, message EFU Life on WhatsApp or call 021-111-338-111 (111-EFU-111) with your policy number, or log in to EFU's client portal from the Login button on efulife.com. EFU also answers by SMS: type "EFU LIFE" and send it to 9898, at Rs 2 an SMS. Below is every route, how to pay the renewal premium from Pakistan or abroad, and how to bring a lapsed policy back.
Many EFU Life policies were sold through banks, so customers often do not know which number to call or where the premium went. We read EFU Life's contact page and its existing client FAQs on 31 October 2026.
WhatsApp, the call centre and SMS all check an EFU Life policy
EFU uses one number for calls and WhatsApp: 021-111-338-111, written on its site as 111-EFU-111. Have the policy number from your policy schedule ready. The call centre can tell you the next due date, the premium amount and the policy status.
| Channel | Contact | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Call centre, life | 021-111-338-111 | Policy status, premium due, forms |
| 021-111-338-111 | For clients and claimants | |
| SMS | "EFU LIFE" to 9898 | Rs 2 per SMS |
| Email, individual clients | csd@efulife.com | Client Services Department |
| Health policies | 021-111-435-700 | Separate health line |
EFU's contact page gives two different service hours. One block says 24/7 customer support, another says Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, closed on weekends and public holidays. Call on a weekday in office hours if your question is urgent.

The client portal and app show your policy after login
The Login button on efulife.com opens EFU's client sign in, with a separate login for corporate clients. EFU's FAQ says online services need your user ID and password, and it names its client app, PlanIT. Its home page now links an app called Thrive on Google Play and the App Store.
- Open efulife.com and press Login.
- Choose the individual client login, not the corporate one.
- Sign in with your user ID and password.
- Pick the policy to see its details and due premium.
- If you have no login, call 021-111-338-111 to get one set up.
The policy schedule is the key document. EFU says it carries your policy number, name, date of birth, CNIC number, commencement date, nominee, benefits, premium due date, premium amount and payment mode. Keep it safe.

Work out your next premium date from the policy schedule
EFU's FAQ explains the due date with a simple rule. Take the commencement date on the schedule and add the payment interval. A yearly policy that started on 1 July 2023 was next due on 1 July 2024. A half yearly policy from the same date was next due on 1 January 2024.
EFU sends a renewal notice and a reminder at each anniversary. But it says plainly that paying on time is the client's responsibility, not the company's.
Pay the renewal premium online, at a branch or through 1Link
EFU accepts the renewal premium in several ways. The online option is a credit card through e-Services, and the card must be in your own name: EFU does not take third party cards. 1Link online transfer or an ATM transfer also works.
| Method | How it works |
|---|---|
| Credit card online | Log in to e-Services, pick the policy, pay with your own card |
| 1Link | Online transfer or at an ATM |
| EFU branch | Cheque, demand draft, cash or card, provisional receipt given |
| Courier or TCS drop box | Cheque or draft with the policy number written on the back |
| From abroad | Telegraphic transfer to EFU's MCB account in Karachi |
For payments from abroad, EFU lists MCB Bank's Nursery Branch on Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi, Swift code MUCBPKKAA, account code 1204-1, titled EFU Life Assurance Ltd. Write your policy number on every transfer.
Once EFU receives the full premium within the grace period, it says an SMS confirms receipt, followed by a receipt and confirmation letter by post. No SMS after a week means you should call.

A lapsed EFU policy is reinstated without a penalty
EFU gives a grace period of 30 days from the premium due date, and the policy stays in force during it. If the premium does not arrive in that time, the policy lapses and EFU sends a lapse notice.
To reinstate it, pay all past due premiums with the Application for Reinstatement and Health Declaration Form. EFU says there are no penalties on reinstatement, though it may ask for more after underwriting. The form comes with the lapse notice or from the downloads section.
Changes to the plan, such as a higher sum assured, can be requested one month before each policy anniversary with an Alteration Form.
Find a forgotten EFU policy on a CNIC
If you only have a CNIC, for example after a parent dies, send it without dashes to 99833. That is the life insurance policy finder that covers insurers across Pakistan. For a claim after a death, follow the steps to claim life insurance after a death.
Many EFU plans are sold at bank branches. Your rights when a bank sells you a policy are set out in what SBP says a bank must do before you sign.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 31 October 2026. We read EFU Life's contact page and its existing client FAQs on 31 October 2026. We did not log in or pay a premium. The contact page lists two different call centre hours and the FAQ names the PlanIT app while the home page links Thrive, so confirm both by calling EFU.
