To log in to HRD Korea's free online Korean learning portal for Pakistani EPS workers, go to epspakistan.masterk1.com, enter "pk" plus your 8 digit KLT number plus your birth day and month as the ID, and your full date of birth as the password. So KLT 50123456 with a birth date of 1 December 2002 becomes ID pk501234560112 and password 01122002.

That is the exact example the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) gives in its guideline. The portal is meant for EPS applicants who are already on the jobseeker roster, the list Korean employers choose workers from. Below we cover who can use it, how to build your ID without a mistake, what to try when the login fails, and the paid and free classes for everyone else.

The portal is for EPS applicants already on the jobseeker roster

OEC's guideline says HRD Korea set up the online learning portal for EPS applicants who are already on the jobseeker roster, so they can keep improving their Korean while they wait. It is not a course for people who have not yet passed EPS-TOPIK.

HRD Korea is the Korean government agency that runs the Employment Permit System (EPS) and its Korean test, EPS-TOPIK. OEC is its partner in Pakistan. OEC posted the portal on its announcements board on 17 February 2026, with a guideline image in Urdu, and the post was still live when we read it on 25 October 2026.

Being on the roster matters because Korean employers choose workers from it, and a worker who keeps up the language is better placed for the interview and the job. The portal does not promise a job, and OEC does not say it adds points.

Your login ID is pk, then your KLT number, then your birth day and month

The ID has three parts joined with no spaces. Start with the letters pk in lower case. Add your 8 digit KLT number from the EPS-TOPIK admit card. Finish with your day and month of birth as four digits, day first, then month.

Watch the leading zeros. A birthday on 5 March is 0503, not 53. A person born on 5 March 1999 with KLT 50987654 would use ID pk509876540503 and password 05031999. That second example is ours, built on OEC's rule.

Log in to the HRD Korea learning portal in six steps

The login page OEC gives is epspakistan.masterk1.com, with the sign in form at the page address OEC prints in its guideline. A laptop or a phone browser both work. Have your admit card and your CNIC in front of you before you start.

  1. Open epspakistan.masterk1.com in a browser.
  2. Go to the login page for EPS Pakistan users.
  3. Type the ID: pk, your 8 digit KLT number, then your birth day and month.
  4. Type the password: your full date of birth as day, month and four digit year.
  5. Sign in and open the Korean lessons.
  6. Change the password if the portal lets you, because your birth date is easy for others to guess.
Steps to log in to the HRD Korea EPS learning portal from Pakistan

We opened the portal's home page on 25 October 2026. It loads its pages with scripts, so we could not read the course list from outside the login. We did not sign in, because we do not hold a KLT number.

Most failed logins come from the date part of the ID

When the login fails, check the birth date first. The ID uses only day and month, while the password adds the full year. Mixing the two, or writing the month first, gives a wrong ID even with the right KLT number.

Run through these checks before you ask for help:

  • The letters pk are lower case and come first.
  • The KLT number has exactly 8 digits, with no spaces or dashes.
  • The day comes before the month in both the ID and the password.
  • Single digit days and months have a leading zero.
  • The date matches the one on your EPS record, which should match your CNIC.
Checks to run when the EPS Korean learning portal login fails

If every part is right and it still fails, your name may not be on the roster yet. OEC's guideline is only for applicants already on it. A new passer from the 2026 round has to finish the later stages first, starting with checking the EPS-TOPIK 2026 result and sitting the skills test.

Anyone with your KLT number and birth date can open your account

The default password is your date of birth, and your birth date is printed on your CNIC, your passport and many forms. So anyone holding your KLT number and a copy of your ID could log in as you. Keep both private.

Do not send screenshots of your admit card on WhatsApp groups, and do not give your login to an agent who promises to "manage" your Korean lessons. The portal is free, and the roster is handled by HRD Korea, not by any middleman. Nobody can buy you a place on it.

If someone asks for money to unlock the course or speed up an employer's choice, treat it as fraud. The warning signs match those in our page on checking an overseas job agency.

If you are not on the roster yet, the HRD Korea portal is not for you. OEC runs paid Korean classes for EPS-TOPIK, and a federal skills body has offered free language courses. Both are open to new learners.

OEC's classroom course in Lahore started on 19 October 2026 and costs Rs 12,000 for 45 days, as covered in our report on OEC's Korean language classes. The free route is the language programme in our page on NAVTTC's free language courses.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked on 25 October 2026. We read the announcement "HRDK Korean Learning Online Website" and its Urdu guideline image on OEC's announcements board, posted on 17 February 2026 and still listed, which gives the ID and password rule and the example of KLT 50123456 with a birth date of 1 December 2002. We opened the HRD Korea learning portal but could not read its course list or sign in without a KLT number. We could not confirm whether the password can be changed, which lessons are offered, or whether 2026 passers have been added to the roster yet. The second login example is our own, built on OEC's rule.
