OEC's Korean language classes in Lahore start on Monday, 19 October 2026, at the Government Staff Training College in Mughalpura. The course runs 45 days, costs Rs 12,000, has morning and evening batches, and seats go first come, first served, with preference for manufacturing and technical diploma holders. Admission is by phone or visit: 042-99250531 to 36. OEC, the government's own overseas recruiter, runs the Korea EPS programme, and passing the EPS-TOPIK language test is compulsory for a Korean job.

We read the Urdu admission notice on the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) announcements board on 19 October 2026, along with three other Korea notices on the same board: the public awareness notice for EPS job seekers, the HRD Korea online learning portal guide, and the Special EPS-TOPIK 2026 result notice. Together they describe the only legal road to a Korean job from Pakistan.

The Lahore course is 45 days for Rs 12,000, morning or evening, from 19 October

The notice says Korean language classes to prepare for the EPS-TOPIK are starting at OEC Lahore, with morning and evening sessions beginning on 19 October 2026. The full course fee is Rs 12,000 and the duration is 45 days. Teaching follows the new syllabus and KICE pattern, under teachers OEC describes as certified, with special classes for returnees from Korea and for those who have studied Korean before.

The notice was posted on 23 September 2026, so the first batch may already be full by the time you call. OEC's EPS page, which reads like a template in places, describes free three-month Korean training at its Islamabad and Karachi centres; the Lahore notice prints a Rs 12,000 fee and a 45-day course. Ask the centre which applies before you pay, and get the fee on an OEC challan.

Passing EPS-TOPIK is compulsory, and only OEC can put you on the roster

The Employment Permit System (EPS) is a government-to-government arrangement between Pakistan and South Korea. A Pakistani cannot be hired under it except through OEC. You register, sit the EPS-TOPIK Korean test, pass a skills test, clear a medical, and your name goes on a roster that HRD Korea shows to Korean employers, who pick from it. The whole chain, with the fees, is in our guide to Korea EPS-TOPIK from Pakistan.

The Special EPS-TOPIK 2026 result was announced on OEC's board on 24 August 2026. Those who passed must file the EPS roster form, a four-page job application and health declaration, and the board shows 19 October 2026 as the last date for that step. The form asks for one to three preferred industries, passport details, and yes or no answers on communicable disease, drug or alcohol dependence in the last five years, past mental health treatment and serious illness or injury in the last five years.

The registration page for the general EPS-TOPIK 2026 round sets the age window by date of birth: between 31 March 1986 and 30 March 2008. If you were born outside those dates, the Lahore course will not get you on the roster, whatever your score.

Roster candidates get a free HRD Korea online portal with a fixed ID format

HRD Korea, the Korean agency that runs EPS, has opened an online learning portal for applicants already on the job seeker roster, so that they can improve their Korean while they wait for an employer. OEC's guide gives the address, epspakistan.masterk1.com, and the login format.

The ID is "pk" followed by your eight-digit KLT registration number and your day and month of birth. The password is your full date of birth as ddmmyyyy. OEC's example: an applicant with KLT number 50123456 born on 1 December 2002 logs in as pk501234560112 with the password 01122002. The portal is only for people HRD Korea already holds on the roster; a Lahore course student who has not yet passed the test cannot use it.

Free government alternatives for the language itself do exist. NAVTTC's language programme includes Korean, as we found when comparing the free NAVTTC language courses, though it does not carry OEC's EPS-specific syllabus.

OEC's own notice lists five things no agent can do for you

OEC's public awareness notice for EPS job seekers, posted in August 2026, is blunt. It says the EPS recruitment process runs only through the government-to-government system between Pakistan and Korea, and sets out the rules in a box.

  1. OEC is the only body designated in Pakistan for EPS.
  2. No private agent, broker or individual is authorised to arrange EPS employment, guarantee selection, issue a work permit or promise a pass.
  3. Do not pay any amount to anybody at the urging of any person or office.
  4. Do not share your passport details, CNIC, mobile number, OTP or other sensitive information with any unauthorised person.
  5. If anyone falsely claims to arrange an EPS job or demands money, report it at once through OEC's official channels, and trust only OEC's official announcements and websites.

The Rs 12,000 Lahore fee and every other EPS payment goes to OEC itself. A "Korea agent" who offers a seat, a pass or a quicker roster is selling nothing he holds. If you have already paid one, our guides on fake job offers and on how to report an unlicensed job agent set out the complaint route under the Emigration Ordinance.

What to do this week if you want the Lahore seat

Call 042-99250531 to 36 and ask whether the 19 October morning or evening batch still has seats, what documents to bring and whether the fee is paid by challan at the centre. Take your CNIC, your matric or diploma certificate and the fee. If you hold a manufacturing or technical diploma, say so, because the notice gives those candidates preference.

Then register as an EPS job seeker on OEC's portal in parallel, because a language certificate from the course is not a test pass; the EPS-TOPIK itself is a separate sitting announced by OEC when Korea opens a round. Keep both tracks moving.

Common questions

When do OEC's Korean classes in Lahore start?

On 19 October 2026, with morning and evening sessions, according to OEC's admission notice posted on 23 September 2026.

What is the fee and duration?

Rs 12,000 for the full course, which runs 45 days.

What is the age limit for EPS-TOPIK 2026?

OEC's registration page accepts dates of birth between 31 March 1986 and 30 March 2008.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 19 October 2026. The Lahore start date, fee, duration, sessions, venue, phone numbers and preference rule come from OEC's Urdu notice "Korean Language Classes", posted on 23 September 2026 on the announcements board of OEC's website. The public awareness rules come from OEC's "Important Information for EPS" notice of 24 August 2026; the portal address and login format from its HRDK Korean Learning Online Website guide of 17 February 2026; the Special EPS-TOPIK 2026 result date, roster form content and 19 October deadline from the result notice and its attached form; and the age window from the EPS-TOPIK 2026 registration page, all read on 19 October 2026. We could not verify how many seats the Lahore batch has or whether it had filled, because the notice does not say and we did not telephone the centre.
