ETEA KP Test Registration, Fees, Roll Number Slip and Result

ETEA test forms for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa jobs are filled online at etea.online after you sign up with your CNIC. The ETEA fee is Rs 700 for BS-16 and below, Rs 900 for BPS-17 and Rs 1,000 for BS-18 and above. Results are on etea.edu.pk/result.

The Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) is the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government's own testing body. It was set up under a provincial law in 1998. A Board of Governors headed by the Chief Minister runs it, and it tests candidates for provincial jobs and for admission to professional colleges.

We read the ETEA website, its online portal, its results section, its FAQ and one live advertisement on 30 September 2026. We did not apply for a post or sit a test.

ETEA recruitment tests open on 30 September 2026

On 30 September 2026 the ETEA portal listed 21 recruitment projects still taking applications. Eight of them closed that same day. The rest run to dates between 5 and 30 October 2026, so a late applicant still has real choices.

Rescue 1122 is the biggest of these. Its advertisement offers 350 Emergency Medical Technician posts (BPS-12), 175 Fire Rescuer posts (BPS-11) and 275 Driver posts (BPS-06). The age limit is 22 to 35 years, and you need a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile. Applications run from 15 September to 15 October 2026.

Each project has a code. Note it down, because ETEA uses the code on slips, results and merit lists.

How to register for an ETEA test

You register once on the ETEA portal with your CNIC and a password, then apply for each project from your account. ETEA allows one round of changes to a submitted form, and only until the closing date.

1. Open etea.online and find your project in the Latest Advertisements list.
2. Open the advertisement and the syllabus or paper composition, where one is posted.
3. Click Apply Now. Sign up with your CNIC if you have no account, then sign in.
4. Fill the form for one post, upload what it asks for, and submit.
5. Pay the fee as the form tells you, and print a copy of the submitted form.

Read the advertisement's terms before you pay. The Rescue 1122 terms, for example, need a separate application and a separate fee for every post. They also say you must be eligible on the closing date itself.

Engineering admission is a separate route. The UET and ETEA entrance test has its own link on the ETEA homepage, apart from the jobs portal.

ETEA fees and how the test is scored

ETEA's FAQ sets the recruitment fee by grade. It is Rs 700 for BS-16 and below, Rs 900 for BPS-17, Rs 1,000 for BS-18 and above, and Rs 900 for any department that holds a physical test before the written test.

The test is only part of your score. In the Rescue 1122 advertisement, education carries 70 marks, the ETEA test 20 and the interview 10. You need 40 per cent in the screening or written test to pass for BPS-1 to BPS-16 posts.

The FAQ still tells candidates to pay at a UBL, ABL, MCB or HBL branch and post the form. That text looks older than the online portal, so follow the payment method your own form shows.

How to get your ETEA roll number slip

ETEA posts slips online before each test, under Roll Numbers on etea.edu.pk. On 30 September 2026 that link pointed to rollnumberslip.etea.live, and the bare address returned a "resource cannot be found" error for us. Check your portal account and the ETEA homepage closer to your test date.

Keep your project code and CNIC ready. If the slip does not appear a few days before the test, call ETEA rather than waiting for the morning of the paper.

On test day take the original slip and your original CNIC or passport. Under 18? Bring the original B-Form and your SSC certificate with a photo. ETEA asks for a marker, a pen and a clip-board. Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices and smart watches are banned, and anyone found with one is disqualified.

How to check your ETEA result

Results sit on etea.edu.pk/result. On 30 September 2026 it held 1,285 results that you could filter by test type: computer-based test (CBT), typing, shorthand, skill or driving, physical, and written. Search by the post or department name.

The newest results that day included the CBT for Forest Guards, Wildlife Watchers, KPRA Constables and Dir Lower Sepoys held on 26 September 2026. They also included the CBT for a Civil Engineer at MTI Ayub Medical College on the same date.

A result is not the end. Qualified candidates are later checked against their original documents, and ETEA says anyone who misses that quality check drops out. Merit lists are posted separately under Merit List.

Diploma holders sometimes mix ETEA up with the technical board. Your KPBTE Peshawar result is on a different site entirely.

ETEA also keeps a public list of blacklisted candidates from different departments. Cheating or using a device in a test can put your name there.

Jobs in Punjab run through a different commission. The PPSC has its own portal and fees, and federal university tests often use NTS instead.

Can I edit my ETEA form after submitting it?
