Check Your KPBTE Peshawar Result Online, With 2026-27 Fees and Dates

Check your KPBTE Peshawar result at kpbte.edu.pk/Pages/Result.aspx: pick the exam, type your roll number and press the result button. On 27 September 2026 the only exam in the list was the DAE Annual Examination 2026. New students for 2026-27 must be registered by their college, starting with D.Com and DBA by 20 October 2026.

The technical board in Peshawar now calls itself the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Technical & Commerce Education, or KP BT&CE. Most people still search for it as KPBTE, and its website is still kpbte.edu.pk. It was set up in March 1973 and runs the final exams for technical, commerce and vocational courses below degree level.

We opened the board's result page, downloads and contact list on 27 September 2026. We read its registration notice for 2026-27, its exam notices and its fee notice. We also ran the result search with a test roll number to see what it shows.

What the KP technical board examines

KPBTE Peshawar holds the final exams for diplomas and certificates below degree level: engineering diplomas (DAE), commerce diplomas, IT diplomas, the Technical School Certificate, and short vocational courses. Your college teaches the course. The board sets the exam and issues the diploma.

The board's registration instructions say students with less than 33 per cent marks in matric cannot join DAE, D.Com, DBA or DIT. Students from another province need a migration certificate from their own board. If you are still weighing what to choose after matric, remember that technical education in Pakistan has more than one door, and the board you end up with depends on your province.

The board's own introduction lists its area as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

How to check your KPBTE result online

Open the Result page on kpbte.edu.pk, choose your exam, enter your roll number in digits only, and press the result button. The page shows your name, father's name, college, technology, pass or fail, and marks for each paper.

1. Go to kpbte.edu.pk and click Result in the top menu.
2. Choose your exam from the Examination list.
3. Type your roll number. Digits only, no spaces.
4. Press the button to show the result with your marks sheet (DMC).
5. Check your name and father's name against your matric certificate.

When we tried a roll number that does not exist, the page said "not Found". A real roll number returned the full sheet within seconds. So if you see "not Found", check the exam you picked before you panic.

The same page also holds result gazettes as PDF files. On 27 September 2026 it had gazettes for TSC, DBA and D.Com Annual 2026. The board calls every online result provisional. Your original DMC and diploma are what count.

Your result may show a short code instead of marks: RL (result late), RLF (late for a fee issue), RL CC (late for a missing course completion certificate), MNI (marks not improved) or UMC (unfair means case). An RL result is usually cleared through your college, so ask your principal's office first. If you need your matric result instead, board results online work the same way across Pakistan.

Roll number slips and exam forms go through your college

KPBTE does not take exam forms from students directly. Your principal submits the forms online and sends a signed list with the fee. Your roll number slip comes from your college. We found no roll number slip download on kpbte.edu.pk.

The board's exam notices say manual forms are not accepted, and a form brought in person is refused without a covering letter from the principal. So your real deadline is your college's, which is usually earlier than the board's. Pay the exam fee in time and ask for your slip a week before the paper.

Exam dates and fees in 2026

The DAE, DAS and DVS annual exams for 2026 started on 29 April 2026, with a normal exam fee of Rs 2,130. The DIT second term, EEEP, vocational, shorthand and IT short course exams started on 26 August 2026.

A gazette fee is added on top: Rs 2,000 for DAE and DIT, and Rs 300 for the short courses. The date sheets and hall lists for the August exams are on the board's Downloads page.

Registration dates for the 2026-27 session

New students must be registered with the board by their college. The last dates at the normal fee are 20 October 2026 for D.Com and DBA, 3 November for TSC, 12 November for DIT and short courses, and 15 December for DAE.

The upper age limit is 25 for DAE, D.Com and DBA, counted on 10 September 2026. For TSC it is 18, and a principal can relax it by up to three years. An over-age student pays an extra Rs 2,180. The notice also says no refund and no swapping of students once the list is sent.

The registration fee in a government college is Rs 1,900 for DAE, Rs 1,720 for D.Com, DBA and one-year DIT, and Rs 810 for TSC. Private colleges pay more: Rs 3,470 for DAE. That fee table is headed "session 2025-26" but sits inside the 2026-27 notice, so confirm the amount with your college before you pay.

Fees for re-totaling, DMC and certificates

Re-totaling costs Rs 1,310 per paper and an appeal costs Rs 950. Verification of a diploma or DMC costs Rs 510 in five working days, or Rs 730 the same day. These rates rose by 10 per cent in December 2025.

Re-totaling is done online. Open the Re-Totaling page, enter the exam, roll number, registration number and mobile number, then pay the challan at the bank. Work starts only after the bank confirms your fee, so keep the paid challan until the result comes back.

The board's main number is 091-9217410 and its email is contact@kpbte.edu.pk. For exam problems call 091-9217435. For registration call 091-9217352. The office is at Plot 22, Sector B-1, Phase-V, Hayatabad, Peshawar.

The board also posts a "Beware of Fake Certification" notice and a list of fake boards named by NAVTTC on its Downloads page. Before you pay any institute, check that it appears on the board's Affiliation page. A diploma from an unaffiliated institute will not be verified.

Can I check my KPBTE result by name?

No. The result page only searches by exam and roll number. If you lost your roll number, ask your college, which holds the board's list.

Where do I get my KPBTE roll number slip?

From your college. The board takes exam forms only through principals, and we found no slip download on its website.

What is the fee for re-totaling at KPBTE?

Rs 1,310 per paper, under the board's fee notice of 2 December 2025. You apply online on the Re-Totaling page and pay by bank challan.

What is the last date for DAE registration for 2026-27?

15 December 2026 at the normal fee. With late fees it runs to 4 January 2027. Your college does the registration, so its deadline comes first.

What does RL mean on a KPBTE result?

Result late. The result is held back, often for a missing fee (RLF) or a missing course completion certificate (RL CC). Your college has to clear it with the board.
