Find a PSB Coaching Centre in Karachi, Lahore or Peshawar: Facilities and Hostels
Pakistan Sports Board coaching centres in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar: phones, tracks, courts, hostel beds and how to ask for a place. Call before you go.

The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) runs coaching centres in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta. Karachi has a 400 metre track, a football ground and a 60 bed hostel. Lahore has a hostel for 90 athletes. Peshawar can house 72 players. Call the centre first, because its web page lists no fees.
Many athletes outside Islamabad do not know these centres exist. They are open to national and international level players and to the general public, according to PSB. We read each centre's page on the PSB website on 8 October 2026 and collected the contacts and facilities in one place.

How to ask for a place at a coaching centre
PSB's pages say the centres serve athletes and the public, but they do not give a fee list, an admission form or a method for getting a hostel bed. So the safe route is to call or email, ask the right questions and keep a written reply.
- Pick the centre closest to you and the sport you play.
- Call during office hours, which PSB gives as Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
- Ask if your sport is coached there and which days and times it runs.
- Ask for the fee, if any, and whether a hostel bed is open to you.
- Ask for the papers you need to bring, such as a CNIC or B-Form copy and photographs.
- Get the answer by email or message so you have a record.
If you have strong results and want to be seen at national level, also read how to apply to the PSB talent identification system. To know who controls your sport, see the list of national sports federations.
Check what each page does not tell you
The three pages we read are descriptions of buildings. They say nothing about coaches, age limits, session timings or fees. Some facilities may be under renovation, and PSB's own pages mark the new Karachi boxing gymnasium and second hostel as under construction.
Treat this guide as a map of what is on site, not a promise of what is open to you. In Punjab you can also look at the free Sports Board Punjab cricket academies, which are run by a provincial body and not by PSB.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked on 8 October 2026. We read the PSB pages for the coaching centres in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar on sports.gov.pk, which give the addresses, phone numbers, emails, facilities and hostel capacity. The Quetta page returned an error, and none of the pages gives fees, age limits or admission rules, so we have stated none. Hostel numbers are PSB's own and may have changed since the pages were written. Confirm with the centre before you travel.
