FPSC Result 2026 Phase-III: First Merit Lists for 5 Posts, Pass Counts and Next Steps (27 October)
FPSC posted Phase-III/2026 written results for 5 posts on 27 October: 59 of 203 passed and 2 posts had nobody qualify. See each post, P and F, and next steps.

FPSC posted the first written results of its Phase-III/2026 recruitment tests on 27 October 2026, for five posts: 59 candidates passed out of 203 who sat the papers, and two posts had nobody qualify. The five are Secondary School Teacher (Physical) male and female, Bullion Superintendent at the Pakistan Mint, a female Assistant Professor of Computer Science for Gilgit-Baltistan, and a Deputy Commandant for the Pakistan Marine Academy.
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) put the five public notices under Results, then Merit Lists, on fpsc.gov.pk. We downloaded and read all five PDFs on 28 October 2026. Below are the numbers for each post, what "P" and "F" mean on the list, and what a passing candidate should do next.
Five Phase-III results are out, with 59 passes from 203 candidates
Each notice prints the number who applied, appeared and qualified in the written part. Across the five posts, 354 applied, 203 appeared and 59 qualified. Those totals are our own sums of the five notices. Two posts, both senior, ended with no qualified candidate at all.
| Case and post | Scale | Applied | Appeared | Qualified |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| F4-159/2026 Bullion Superintendent, Pakistan Mint | BS-17 | 159 | 97 | 48 |
| F4-161/2026 SST (Physical) Male, Ex-FG Schools | BS-17 | 102 | 58 | 8 |
| F4-162/2026 SST (Physical) Female, Ex-FG Schools | BS-17 | 58 | 26 | 3 |
| F4-124/2026 Assistant Professor Computer Science (Female), GB | BS-18 | 32 | 21 | Nil |
| F4-127/2026 Deputy Commandant, Pakistan Marine Academy | BS-19 | 3 | 1 | Nil |
The PDFs are laid out in columns that do not always line up when read as text. We matched each total to the number of rows marked as passed or failed in the same list, and they agree.

Physical education teachers had the lowest pass rate among filled posts
For the male Secondary School Teacher (Physical) post in former Federal Government schools, 8 of 58 who appeared passed, about 14 per cent. For the female post, 3 of 26 passed, about 12 per cent. The Bullion Superintendent paper was easier on paper: 48 of 97 passed, just under half.
Those percentages are our arithmetic. They also show how many applicants never turned up. Only 57 per cent of SST male applicants and 45 per cent of female applicants sat the test. If you applied and skipped the paper, your name appears on no list at all.
The male SST passes come from three domiciles: four from Sindh Rural, three from Balochistan and one from Sindh Urban. Every candidate on the Bullion Superintendent and female SST lists holds a Sindh Rural domicile, which suggests those posts were advertised against that quota. The notices themselves do not say so.
Two senior posts ended with no qualified candidate
None of the 21 women who sat the Assistant Professor (Computer Science) paper for the Gilgit-Baltistan Education Department passed. For the Deputy Commandant post at the Pakistan Marine Academy in BS-19, three applied, one appeared and that one did not pass. Both notices print "Nil" against qualified.
The notices do not say what happens next for these two posts. If you are interested in either post, watch the jobs section on fpsc.gov.pk for a fresh advertisement.

Check your result by case number, then read the remarks column
Find your case number on your admission certificate, open the matching PDF and search for your roll number. The list gives your roll number, merit number, name, domicile and a remark. P means passed the written part, and F means failed.
- Open fpsc.gov.pk and go to Results, then Merit Lists.
- Open "Merit Lists for General Recruitment Test Phase-III/2026", dated 27 October 2026.
- Choose the PDF with your case number, such as F4-161-2026.
- Search for your six digit roll number.
- Read the remark: P with a merit number means you passed, F means you did not.
A pass is not selection. FPSC says only the top candidates in each provincial or regional quota will be shortlisted, if found eligible. The ways to read a list and your marks are set out in the steps to check your FPSC result and merit list.
Report any data error within 15 days of the result
Each notice says the result was prepared from the data candidates gave in the online form and on the OMR sheet. Any mistake in personal data must be reported to FPSC within 15 days of the result going online. For a 27 October result, that is by about 11 November 2026.
Shortlisted candidates are called for interview later, through a separate document calling notice. Start getting your papers ready now. The FPSC document verification checklist asks for originals plus two attested sets. Candidates whose test was in Peshawar or D.I. Khan are not on these lists yet, because their papers were moved to 7 to 11 November.

Common questions
Which FPSC Phase-III results came out on 27 October 2026?
Five: SST (Physical) male and female, Bullion Superintendent, Assistant Professor Computer Science (Female) for GB, and Deputy Commandant at the Pakistan Marine Academy.
What does P and F mean on the FPSC result?
P means the candidate passed the written part of the test. F means the candidate failed it.
Does passing the written test mean I am selected?
No. Only the top candidates in each quota are shortlisted, if eligible, and then called for interview through a separate notice.
How long do I have to report a mistake in my name or domicile?
15 days from the day the result is published on fpsc.gov.pk, according to each notice.
Why is my Phase-III result not on the list?
Only five posts are out so far. Results for other cases, and for papers moved from KP centres to November, come later.
How many candidates passed the SST Physical test?
Eight of 58 men and three of 26 women who appeared, by the totals printed in the two notices.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the five FPSC public notices dated 27 October 2026 for cases F4-124/2026, F4-127/2026, F4-159/2026, F4-161/2026 and F4-162/2026 on 28 October 2026. They are listed as "Merit Lists for General Recruitment Test Phase-III/2026", uploaded on 27 October, on the FPSC results page. We counted P and F rows in each list to confirm the printed totals, and worked out all percentages and the five post totals ourselves. We have not printed candidate names. We could not confirm the quota each post was advertised for, the pass mark used, or when interviews will be held, because the notices do not give them. The FPSC home page also carries an updated list of results for cases advertised earlier in 2026, which we did not cover here.
