How to Check Your Gulf Medical Report by Passport Number in Pakistan

Check your Gulf medical report at wafid.com/en/medical-status-search/. Choose "By Passport Number", type your passport number, pick "Pakistani" as nationality and press Check. It is free. FIT means you can carry on with your visa. UNFIT means the Gulf states will not accept you on this report.

You need your passport number, the nationality you booked with, and your slip number as a backup. No login is needed.

Wafid books the medical once called GAMCA, the health check for a Gulf work or family visa. The Gulf Health Council, set up by the six Gulf health ministries, runs it. We opened its result page, booking form, FAQ and rule book on 25 September 2026, without entering a real passport number.

How to check your GCC medical report by passport number

Open the Wafid result page, choose the passport option, enter your passport number and nationality, then press Check. The page needs no account and no fee. If the passport search finds nothing, switch to the slip number printed on your appointment slip.

1. Go to wafid.com. Under "Medical Examinations", tap Medical Examination Result. The page opens at wafid.com/en/medical-status-search/.
2. Leave the first option, By Passport Number, selected.
3. Type your number in the Passport NO box exactly as it appears in your passport, letters and digits together, with no spaces.
4. In Nationality, pick Pakistani from the list. The list is alphabetical, so it sits between Omani and Palestine.
5. Press Check. Your result shows on screen.
6. If nothing comes up, go back and choose Wafid slip number instead. Type the GCC slip number from your appointment slip and press Check again.

We read the form on the page itself. It has only those fields, a hidden security check and one Check button. The language menu has Urdu. Lost your slip? The Appointment Slips page prints it again from your passport number and nationality.

What FIT, UNFIT and no result mean

FIT means the approved centre found none of the listed conditions and you can move to the visa stage. UNFIT means one listed condition was found. No result usually means the report is not uploaded yet, since Wafid says results appear within 26 days.

We did not submit a real passport, so we cannot show the exact wording of the result screen. The table uses the FIT and UNFIT words from the Gulf Health Council's own medical form.

What makes a Gulf medical result UNFIT

The Gulf Health Council publishes the full list. It covers infections such as HIV, hepatitis B and C, TB signs on the chest X-ray, malaria and leprosy, plus serious illness such as kidney, liver or heart failure, uncontrolled blood pressure or diabetes, and cancer.

The Council's 2021 rules list these cases:

• Infections: HIV positive; hepatitis B surface antigen positive; hepatitis C antibody positive; microfilaria and malaria; leprosy.
• Chest X-ray: any abnormal change, including active or past TB, fibrosis, calcification, fluid around the lungs and swollen lymph nodes.
• Other illness: kidney failure, liver failure, heart failure, uncontrolled high blood pressure, uncontrolled diabetes, cancer of all types, and psychological and neurological disorders.
• Physical: a disability or amputation that stops you doing the work, and haemoglobin below 7 g/dL, which is severe anaemia.
• Pregnancy, but only for a work visa.

Note the word "past" next to TB. An old, treated TB scar can still show on the X-ray.

What to do if your medical report says UNFIT

First, get your own test reports from the centre and see a doctor, because a positive screening test is not always a final diagnosis. Complaints about a result go in writing to the Gulf Health Council, and its rules say the Council's decision is final.

Ignore anyone who offers to "change" an UNFIT to FIT for money. The same rules have each Gulf state's health ministry test workers again after arrival, and the Council can act against a centre that passed an unfit worker. Paying only moves the failure abroad, after the ticket is bought.

Wafid publishes no separate re-test rule. Its FAQ says you can book again two months after an existing report's date. Treat the illness first: controlled blood pressure or diabetes is not on the list.

Wafid covers these countries, and the UAE tests you again

The Wafid booking form lists seven destinations: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Yemen. It offers three visa types: work, family and study. The UAE also runs its own medical fitness test inside the country for every residence permit.

The UAE health ministry's service sheet describes a 40 minute exam for infectious diseases, with results in one to two days by email and SMS. So a clear Wafid result does not end the checks in the UAE visa and residence process.

For Saudi Arabia, the Saudi visa platform lists a service to confirm that the medical centre has issued your health certificate. That fits between the Wafid test and the rest of the Saudi work visa steps.

How to book the Gulf medical in Pakistan and what it costs

You book on wafid.com with your passport details and pay online by card. A standard slip costs $10 and a premium slip costs $25. The standard slip gives you a centre in your city automatically. Premium lets you choose the centre and the date.

The form asks for your city, destination, personal details, passport dates, visa type, email, phone and CNIC. A one-time code goes to your email to confirm. Wafid shows only the booking fee, not what the centre charges for the tests, so ask the centre first and keep the receipt.

We counted the Pakistan list on Wafid's centre search: 141 centres in 11 cities. Peshawar has 29, Lahore 21, Rawalpindi 18, Karachi 16, Islamabad 14, Multan 13, Gujranwala 12 and Chakdara 10. Faisalabad has 4, and Sialkot and Bahawalpur have 2 each. The list had none in Quetta or Hyderabad.

Book with the passport you will travel on. With a reported end date of 15 October 2026 for machine readable passports, some workers will change passports mid-process. Results are found by passport number, so ask the centre about a change request if yours changes.

Fake Wafid sites and paid slip sellers

The only official site is wafid.com, run by the Gulf Health Council. A search for Wafid in Pakistan returns many lookalike sites. Some are honest helpers, some add large fees, and none of them can change your result.

When we searched for Wafid on 25 September 2026, nine sites came up, and not one of them was wafid.com. We opened four. One calls itself an appointment service provider and quotes Rs 4,000 "including our service charges", against $10 on Wafid. Another says on its own page that it is not the official website. These are unofficial sites that charge a service fee for a booking you can make yourself.

• The address bar must read wafid.com, nothing added after "wafid" and no ".pk" at the end.
• The result check is free, so never pay anyone to "check your report".
• No site or agent can turn UNFIT into FIT. The Gulf state tests you again on arrival.
• Do not send passport scans over WhatsApp to a stranger who offers a faster slip.

The same caution applies to the agent selling the job. Check that the promoter is on the Bureau of Emigration licence list before you pay for anything, the medical included.

After a FIT result, the Protector stamp comes next

A FIT report is one step, not the end. The employer uses it for the visa, and you then register your job contract with the Protector of Emigrants in Pakistan before you leave. The report is valid for two months for the visa, so do not let it sit.

Once the visa is in your passport, getting protected at the Protectorate office is the step that makes your contract something you can complain against. Saudi-bound workers should also check whether they need the NADRA vaccination card at the airport.

Can I check my GAMCA medical report by passport number?

Yes. GAMCA bookings now run through Wafid. Open wafid.com/en/medical-status-search/, choose By Passport Number, enter your passport number, choose Pakistani and press Check. It is free.

How long does the Wafid medical result take?

Wafid's FAQ says the result appears within 26 days. If nothing shows, try the slip number search before you worry.

How long is a GCC medical report valid?

Two months from the issue date for issuing or approving a visa, under Article 42 of the Gulf Health Council rules.

How much is the Wafid medical appointment in Pakistan?

Wafid charges $10 for a standard slip and $25 for a premium slip with your choice of centre and date. The centre's own test charges are not listed on Wafid.

Do children need the Gulf medical?

The Gulf Health Council rules exclude those under 16, although Wafid's FAQ says a booking can be made at any age. The UAE's own residence test applies from age 18.
