GEPCO Shutdown Schedule 5 November 2026: 131 Feeders Off in Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat and Narowal
GEPCO's approved list for 5 November 2026 has 131 feeders off, most from 9 am to 2 pm. Shakargarh has 22 and Gujranwala city 13. See feeders and who to call.

GEPCO has approved 131 planned power shutdowns for Thursday 5 November 2026. Most run from 9 am to 2 pm. Shakargarh in Narowal district has the most, with 22 feeders on one grid. Gujranwala city loses 13 feeders on the Therisansi grid, and Sialkot has 16 across its Pasrur Road and Cantt grids.
We downloaded GEPCO's own file, "PTW Shutdown 05-11-2026", from the shutdowns page of gepco.com.pk at about 4 am on 5 November. GEPCO uploaded it on 4 November. Below: the three time windows, the busiest grid stations, the Gujranwala and Sialkot feeders by name, and what to do if your power does not come back.
131 GEPCO feeders are off on 5 November in three time windows
GEPCO's approved list for 5 November has 131 entries. Each one names the feeder code, grid station, feeder, start and end time, sub division, division, circle and the reason for the work. Unlike LESCO's list for the same day, GEPCO uses three different windows.
| Time window on 5 November | Entries on GEPCO's list |
|---|---|
| 9 am to 2 pm | 90 |
| 9 am to 1 pm | 32 |
| 12 noon to 4 pm | 9 |
| Total | 131 |
The reasons fall into three groups. Most are preventive maintenance and tree trimming. A large share is construction or rehabilitation work on lines. The 12 noon to 4 pm entries are mostly linked to annual maintenance of grid stations, which GEPCO lists as "GSO".
The PDF's columns run into each other in places, so the window printed against a feeder can be hard to read. If your feeder is on the list, assume the longest window, 9 am to 2 pm, unless your row clearly shows another time.

Shakargarh, Mangowal and Therisansi grids carry the most feeders
Three grid stations account for 49 of the 131 entries. That makes Narowal, Gujrat and Gujranwala city the hardest hit areas on 5 November.

What to do if your power stays off
A planned shutdown can overrun. If your feeder is still off 30 minutes after its window ends, report it. Call 118 from any phone, which reaches your electricity company's helpline, and keep your 14-digit reference number ready.
You will get a complaint number by SMS. Our guide to checking an electricity complaint status shows how to follow it up. For general load shedding by area, see our guide to the load shedding schedule by reference number.
GEPCO uploads a new file for each working day on the Shutdowns / PTW page of its website. PTW stands for permit to work, the safety clearance a line crew needs before touching a feeder. Our earlier list covered GEPCO's shutdowns on 3 November.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked about 4 am PKT on 5 November 2026. We downloaded "PTW-SHUTDOWN-05-11-2026.pdf" from the GEPCO shutdowns page, listed as "PDC Approved Shutdown for 05-11-2026", uploaded 4 November. Counts are from the feeder rows in that file. Because its columns overlap, some feeder names and times were hard to read, and the exact time against a few rows may differ from what we show. GEPCO can cancel or add shutdowns on the day.
