How to Get a Family Registration Certificate (FRC) in Punjab: Rs 1,000, Same Day
Get a family registration certificate (FRC) at a Punjab e-Khidmat Markaz: Rs 1,000 cash fee, delivered on the spot, with the CNICs and family members to bring.

Short answer: A Punjab e-Khidmat Markaz issues a family registration certificate for Rs 1,000, paid in cash, and the form is delivered on the spot. You must bring your original CNIC and the original CNICs or CRCs of every family member. Children under 18 must attend.
A family registration certificate, or FRC, lists the members of one family as NADRA records them. Embassies, banks, courts and inheritance cases often ask for it. Many families need one in a hurry.
We read the family registration certificate page of the Punjab e-Khidmat service on 14 October 2026. The fee, the delivery time and the papers below come from that page.
The fee is Rs 1,000 and the FRC comes on the spot
The e-Khidmat page lists a service fee of Rs 1,000. It says the FRC form will be delivered on the spot. Payment is cash only and is collected at the NADRA counter. There is no waiting period listed.
Same day delivery is the main reason to use this route. Other certificates, such as the CNIC, take weeks. An FRC printed at the counter lets you finish a visa or bank file the same afternoon.

Bring the original CNICs and CRCs of every family member
The page asks for the applicant with an original CNIC, along with the original CNICs or CRCs of all family members. If a member is missing, the family record is not complete, and the counter will not print the form for them.
A CRC is the child registration certificate. If you do not have one for your child, see the guide on how to get a child registration certificate in Punjab.
- Bring your own original CNIC.
- Bring the original CNIC of your spouse, if you are married.
- Bring the original CNIC or CRC of each child.
- Bring the original CNICs of your parents, if you want them listed.
- Bring any child under 18 in person.
Children under 18 must be physically present
The page says physical presence of family members is mandatory if they are under 18 years of age. A child cannot be represented by a photocopy. Plan the visit around school hours and the Markaz timing.
The Markaz serves the FRC desk from Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm. It pauses from 1 pm to 2 pm, and on Friday it closes from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. A morning visit on a weekday is the best choice.
If there is a very young baby, bring the baby's CRC and the mother, so the staff can match the record. The page does not give an age limit for the physical presence rule.
Fix errors in the family record before you apply
An FRC copies what NADRA holds. If a name is wrong or an ex-spouse is still listed, the certificate repeats the error. Correct the record first, then pay for a new FRC.
Our guide to fixing a wrong FRC explains how to remove an ex-spouse, add a missing child or list stepchildren. The general steps for the NADRA route are in the guide to the family registration certificate from NADRA.
If your marriage record is out of date, start with updating your CNIC after marriage, which lists the NADRA charge.
Check the fee against other NADRA sources
The e-Khidmat page lists Rs 1,000 for the FRC. NADRA's own fee pages and other sites may show a different figure. We did not find the NADRA fee table on the page we read, so we do not claim the two are equal.
| Item | What the page says |
|---|---|
| Fee | Rs 1,000 |
| Delivery | On the spot |
| Payment | Cash at the NADRA counter |
| Who attends | Applicant and all family members under 18 |
| Timing | Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm |
Our NADRA fee guide for every document compares the sources. Ask for a receipt that shows the amount, and keep it.
Check every name and date before you leave the counter
The FRC is printed on the spot, so you can read it at the counter. Check each name, each date of birth and each relationship. An error found later may need a correction request and another fee.
Look at the order of children, the spelling of each name and the status of each parent. If a family member is missing, tell the staff at once. They can tell you whether the fault lies in the NADRA record.
Keep the receipt with the FRC. Banks and embassies sometimes ask for proof of the date the certificate was issued, and the receipt shows it.
