How to Get a Child Registration Certificate (B-Form) in Punjab: Rs 50 or Rs 500
Get a child registration certificate (B-Form) at a Punjab e-Khidmat Markaz: Rs 50 normal in 10 working days, Rs 500 urgent in 1 day, and the papers to carry.

Short answer: A Punjab e-Khidmat Markaz issues a child registration certificate, the document behind the B-Form, for Rs 50 in 10 working days, or Rs 500 in 1 working day. Both parents must attend in person with original CNICs and the child's birth certificate.
A child registration certificate, or CRC, records a child in the NADRA system. Schools, passports and the child's later CNIC all rest on it. Most families call it the B-Form.
We read the child registration certificate page of the Punjab e-Khidmat service on 14 October 2026. The fees and times below are from that page. The page does not describe the newer NADRA stages, so we compare with our NADRA guide at the end.
The normal fee is Rs 50 and the urgent fee is Rs 500
The e-Khidmat page lists a normal service fee of Rs 50 with delivery in 10 working days. The urgent fee is Rs 500, with delivery in 1 working day. Payment is cash only, collected at the NADRA counter.
| Service | Fee | Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | Rs 50 | 10 working days |
| Urgent | Rs 500 | 1 working day |

Choose urgent only when you have a date. A school admission or a passport appointment is a common reason. Otherwise the normal service saves Rs 450.
Both parents must attend in person with original CNICs
The page says the father and the mother must both be present in person, each with an original CNIC. If one parent is abroad or unwell, the page gives no workaround, so ask the Markaz staff before you travel.
If you have no birth certificate yet, read how to get a birth certificate in Punjab at an e-Khidmat Markaz.
- Get the child's birth certificate first. The page lists it as the first document.
- Bring original CNICs of both parents and photocopies of both.
- Bring a photocopy of the child's birth certificate with the original.
- Check that the marital status of both parents is updated at NADRA.
- Pay the fee in cash and keep the receipt.
Parents' marital status must be correct at NADRA first
The page repeats that the marital status of both parents needs to be updated at NADRA. A card that still shows single can stop the file. Fix the card first, then apply for the child's certificate.
Our guide to updating your CNIC after marriage explains the NADRA fee and the papers. A family record can also be wrong in other ways. If it is, see how to get a family registration certificate.
Parents who are not married, or one parent who has died, face special cases. The e-Khidmat page does not cover them. Use the NADRA helpline 1777 and ask which papers your case needs.
The Markaz keeps the same hours as other NADRA desks
The page lists service timing Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm. The Markaz closes for lunch and prayer from 1 pm to 2 pm. On Friday it closes from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Arrive in the morning.
Punjab has 15 e-Khidmat centres. Our list of Punjab e-Khidmat Markaz centres gives the hours. If you prefer a NADRA centre, use NADRA online appointment booking.
The B-Form QR code can be checked on the Pak ID app
After you receive the certificate you can check it. NADRA has said the Pak ID app can verify a child's B-Form by a QR code. This is useful before you give a copy to a school or a bank.
Read our guide to verifying a child's B-Form by QR code for the steps. For the NADRA route and the newer stages, read NADRA B-Form requirements. The two routes may show different fees, and the counter receipt settles it.
Keep the certificate safe because many offices ask for it
A school, a passport office and NADRA may each ask for the child registration certificate. Make two photocopies, keep the original in a plastic sleeve, and store a clear photo on your phone as a backup.
When the child turns 18, the family can apply for a CNIC. The CRC is one of the papers the e-Khidmat CNIC page lists for a new card, so do not lose it. If it is lost, ask NADRA for a duplicate before the CNIC visit.
Check the names and dates on the certificate at the counter before you leave. A wrong spelling is easy to fix on the day and harder to fix months later.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked on 14 October 2026, Pakistan time. We read the child registration certificate page of the Punjab e-Khidmat service and the services page of NADRA. We did not visit a Markaz. The page does not mention the newer NADRA stages, an age limit or the case of one absent parent. Fees and rules can change, so confirm at the counter.
