Short answer: Punjab runs 15 e-Khidmat Markaz centres, in Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Lodhran, Faisalabad, Lahore (two), Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sialkot, Chakwal, Toba Tek Singh and Rahim Yar Khan. They open Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm, and close 12:30 to 2:30 pm on Friday. Two Lahore centres also open from 6 pm to midnight.

A trip to the wrong office costs a day's wages. An e-Khidmat Markaz is built to prevent that. It puts police, revenue, vehicle, NADRA and local government counters under one roof, so one visit can finish several papers.

We read the e-Khidmat "About" page and more than ten service pages on 12 October 2026, and noted the fee on each. We did not visit a centre, and the website does not give street addresses, so use the city names below to start a search on a map.

The 15 centres are in 14 cities, with two in Lahore

The e-Khidmat About page lists 15 operational centres: Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Lodhran, Faisalabad, Lahore (two), Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sialkot, Chakwal, Toba Tek Singh and Rahim Yar Khan. The Punjab Information Technology Board built them.

The page also says the centres offer over 160 services from 21 public departments, and that more than 8 million citizens have used them. It gives a 99.9 per cent success rate. Those are the board's own figures, and we cannot check them.

Centres open six days a week and close for Friday prayers

The service pages say a centre is open Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm. It closes from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm on Friday for prayers and lunch. The two Lahore centres, ASTP and Town Hall, also open from 6 pm to midnight, Monday to Saturday.

Lunch breaks vary by service. The domicile, birth, marriage and death pages list no lunch break. The loss report, FIR copy and character certificate pages list one from 1 pm to 2 pm. So a counter that is closed at 1 pm may be open for another service.

The fee on each service page is a clear starting number

Each service has its own page with a fee and a delivery time. A domicile, birth, marriage, divorce and death certificate are each Rs 200. A character certificate is Rs 500. A loss report and a copy of an FIR are free, and a family registration certificate is Rs 1,000.

Read each page before you go, because the payment method differs. A new domicile is paid online only. A birth, marriage or death certificate is paid in cash. A duplicate domicile is paid by a bank challan.

Match your problem to one visit

Pick the service that matches your need, collect its documents at home, and go once. Our guides already cover the main ones, so open the one that fits before you travel.

  1. Identity and family papers: the domicile steps, the birth certificate steps and the family registration certificate.
  2. Marriage records: the marriage and divorce certificate for Rs 200.
  3. Lost or wrong domicile: a duplicate or corrected domicile.
  4. Police papers: the Police Khidmat Markaz list for character and verification certificates.
  5. Land record: getting a Fard of your land.

Other services on the same menu

The main page also lists vehicle registration, transfer of ownership, token tax, route permits, learner and regular driving licences, e-stamp paper, property registry, NADRA CNIC and e-Sahulat counters, and building plan approval. We did not read each one, so open the service page for its fee.

The traffic e-challan can also be paid at a centre. If you want to check what you owe first, our note on checking an e-challan online in Punjab shows how.

The centres use a call centre as well. The pages say citizens get a call afterwards to give feedback on the service. Ignore any caller who asks for a payment or a code, because the page describes a feedback call only.

A loss report and a copy of an FIR are listed as free, and Ehsaas Rashan registration is listed with no service fee. Always check the service page for a fee before you go.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the e-Khidmat About page and the domicile, duplicate and modified domicile, birth, marriage, divorce, death, character certificate, loss report, FIR copy and family registration pages on ekhidmat.punjab.gov.pk on 12 October 2026. The site gave no street addresses or helpline on the pages we read, so we have not listed any. Centre counts and fees can change.
