Punjab Excise Online Services: Which Portal to Use and the 1035 Helpline
Punjab Excise lists online services to pay dues, verify vehicles and book visits. See which portal does what, the 1035 helpline and the Lahore office address.

Short answer: Punjab Excise lists its online services on one page: epay.punjab.gov.pk for dues and the tax calculator, mtmis.excise.punjab.gov.pk to verify a registered vehicle, an appointment portal for counter services, and a number plate request. The helpline is 1035. The head office is in Lahore.
Many Punjab car and bike owners lose time at an excise office because they did not know a service was online. The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department puts its services page on its website. We read it on 13 October 2026 and list what it says.
The services page gives portal names but no fees or step lists. We could open the department's home page and services page. We could not open the appointment portal, and we did not test the others. Treat the list as a map, not a promise that each portal works today.
The services page lists eleven services
The department's services page names eleven items. Some are for vehicle owners, some for property owners and some for businesses. The table below keeps only the ones that matter to most families.
| Service | Portal or place the page names |
|---|---|
| Online payment of excise dues | epay.punjab.gov.pk |
| Motor vehicle tax calculator | epay.punjab.gov.pk |
| Online verification of registered vehicles | mtmis.excise.punjab.gov.pk |
| Services by appointment | appointment-excise.punjab.gov.pk |
| Number plate request | Listed, no link given on the page |
| Property tax calculator | On the department website |
| Motor vehicle registration and later services | Listed, no link given on the page |

Use the payment portal for dues and the tax calculator
The department lists one portal for paying excise dues and working out motor vehicle tax. Use it before you go to a branch, so you know the amount. For what you must pay when you buy a car, see the figures in our page on new car registration costs in Punjab.
Token tax has its own steps and deadlines. The page on how to pay token tax online covers them. Property owners can use the page on how to pay Punjab property tax online.
Verify a vehicle before you buy it
The department lists a portal for online verification of registered vehicles. Use it before you pay a seller. It lets you match the registration details with the seller's papers. We did not run a search, so we cannot show you the screens.
For the way each province checks a vehicle, read our page on checking any vehicle in Pakistan. If you buy a used car, check the transfer cost too, shown in the page on the vehicle transfer fee in Punjab.
Book an appointment instead of queuing
The services page lists a portal for services by appointment. The page does not say which services need a booking. The portal address did not open for us on 13 October 2026, so ask the helpline whether your service needs one.
- Call 1035 and ask if your service needs an appointment.
- Open the appointment portal and choose the office and service.
- Choose a date and bring the original papers.
- Pay any fee only through the bank or the portal.

Two January 2026 announcements need a phone call
The department's home page carries two announcements dated late January 2026. One is biometric verification for vehicle registration and transfer through the PAK IDENTITY app. The other is re-registration of vehicles registered outside Punjab.
Both said they would start in the last week of January 2026. The page gives no steps, fees or deadlines. We could not confirm from the page that they are running. Call the department before you travel to an office for either service.
Check the portal address before you enter data
Government portals end in .gov.pk. Before you type your CNIC or vehicle number, read the address in the browser bar. The addresses in this page are the ones the department itself lists. Fake sites copy the look of real ones and ask for payment, so never pay through a link sent in a message.
If a portal asks for a bank card number in a text message or a call, stop. The department says it collects dues through its payment portal and banks. When in doubt, call 1035 and ask whether the request is real.
Contact the department
The department lists the helpline 1035. Its phone numbers are +92-42-9920 3848 and +92-42-9920 3849. The address is Transport House, 11-A Egerton Road, Lahore. The site also mentions a complaint cell.

| Phone | +92-42-9920 3848 and +92-42-9920 3849 |
