Google Ads Account Suspended in Pakistan: Every Reason and How to Appeal, Step by Step
Google Ads account suspended in Pakistan? See every reason Google lists, what still works, and how to appeal through Contact Us within 6 months, step by step.

If your Google Ads account is suspended, open the account, click Contact Us in the notification at the top, and fill in the appeal form that opens on the right. Google gives you at least 6 months from the suspension date to appeal, but only one appeal at a time, so the first one should be complete and honest. Below is every suspension reason Google lists, what still works while you are suspended, and how Pakistani advertisers usually get caught by the billing and verification rules.
We read Google's Ads Help page on account suspensions and its Circumventing systems policy on 2 November 2026. For a small business or agency in Pakistan, a suspension stops every ad at once, in every country. The good news is that the account is not deleted. You can still see reports, pay your balance and appeal.
Google suspends Ads accounts for four kinds of reasons
Google's suspension page groups the reasons into egregious policy violations, billing and payment problems, repeated policy violations, and a few others such as unauthorised account activity. Egregious violations bring an immediate suspension without warning. Repeat violations come with warnings first.
| Reason group | Examples Google lists | Warning first? |
|---|---|---|
| Egregious violations | Circumventing systems, counterfeit, malicious software, unacceptable business practices, trade sanctions | No |
| Billing and payment | Suspicious payment activity, unpaid balance, chargeback, promo code abuse | Not stated |
| Repeat violations | Strikes for the same policy | Yes, 7 days before |
| Other | Unauthorised account activity, age requirement, Ad Grants rules | Not stated |
For repeat violations, Google uses strikes. The first strike brings a 3 day hold, the second a 7 day hold, and the third a suspension. Google says you get a warning at least 7 days before the suspension.

Billing problems are the trap most Pakistani advertisers fall into
Suspicious payment activity, unpaid balances and chargebacks are all listed suspension reasons. Google says advertisers suspended for billing reasons may need to verify their payment method before an appeal succeeds, so have the card and its statement ready.
In our reading of the rules, problems are likely when a card belongs to someone other than the account holder, when an agency pays with one card across many client accounts, or when a payment fails and the balance sits unpaid. A disputed charge raised with your bank counts as a chargeback in Google's list, so settle any billing question with Google, not by asking the bank to reverse it.
The payment routes that work from Pakistan, and the ones that trigger declines, are covered in the steps to pay for Google and Meta ads from Pakistan. If you buy ad credit through a local reseller, check the SBP rule for ads resellers before you hand over money.
What still works while your account is suspended
All ads stop and the account becomes read only. Google says you can still view reports, make payments, update security settings, submit an appeal or cancel the account. The suspension applies in all locations, not only Pakistan.
You also receive an email and an in-account notice listing the policies involved, with a link to appeal. Save that email. It names the exact policy, and your appeal has to answer that policy, not a general complaint about Google.
Do not open a fresh account to keep ads running. Google's Circumventing systems policy bans practices that get around or interfere with its advertising systems, treats them as egregious, and suspends without warning. Google's policy page we read does not list examples, but a new account made to dodge a suspension is the obvious risk, and an egregious finding makes reinstatement much harder.

How to appeal a Google Ads suspension, step by step
Appeal from inside the account. Click Contact Us in the suspension notice, complete the form on the right, explain each violated policy with context, and finish advertiser verification if Google asks. Submit one appeal per suspended account.
- Sign in to Google Ads and read the suspension notice at the top.
- Click Contact Us in that notice. The appeal form opens on the right.
- For each policy named, explain what happened and what you changed.
- If asked, complete advertiser verification with your CNIC or business papers.
- If the reason is billing, be ready to verify your payment method.
- Submit, and wait. The account shows Appeal pending while it is reviewed.
Google is strict about verification. It says some advertisers must verify their identity to appeal, and after 3 failed verification attempts they can no longer appeal. Use documents whose names match the account exactly. The steps to complete Google Ads advertiser verification show which CNIC and SECP documents Google accepts from Pakistan.

Too many appeals can slow you down
You can appeal again if an appeal is rejected, using the same process. But Google warns that filing too many appeals for the same suspension may mean they are not processed, and if it sees appeal misuse it may stop processing some appeals for 7 days.
Google also says reinstatement happens only in compelling circumstances, such as a mistake on its side, so be thorough, accurate and honest. A good appeal is short and specific: what the policy says, what your business actually does, the landing page URL, and what you fixed. Copying a template from a forum rarely helps.
If you landed in trouble over a website issue, check your landing page against Google's rules for business names and domains; the October 2026 update to the Google Ads business name and domain policy is worth reading before you appeal.
Watch out for paid "unsuspend" services
Agents on social media offer to restore suspended Google Ads accounts for a fee, or to sell aged accounts. Google's process is free and runs only through your own account. Handing your login to a stranger can add unauthorised account activity to your problems.
Buying someone else's account to keep advertising also risks the Circumventing systems policy above. If you need help, ask a Google Partner agency to review your appeal text, but submit it yourself from your account.
Common questions
How long do I have to appeal a Google Ads suspension?
Google says at least 6 months from the date of the suspension. Submit one appeal at a time for each suspended account.
Can I make a new Google Ads account after a suspension?
It is risky. Google's Circumventing systems policy bans getting around its systems and leads to suspension without warning. Appeal the original account instead.
Why was my Google Ads account suspended for suspicious payment activity?
Google lists suspicious payment activity as a billing reason but does not publish the triggers. In our reading, a card that does not match the account holder or a failed payment are likely causes. You may need to verify the payment method to appeal.
Can I still pay my balance while suspended?
Yes. Google says a suspended account can still view reports, make payments, update security settings and submit appeals.
What happens if advertiser verification fails three times?
Google says advertisers who must verify to appeal cannot appeal after 3 failed verification attempts. Check your documents carefully before each try.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
On 2 November 2026 we read Google's Google Ads account suspensions overview and its Circumventing systems policy. The reasons, strike holds, appeal steps, 6 month window and verification limit come from those pages. The examples of how billing problems start, and the advice on agents and new accounts, are our own reading, not Google's wording. Google's policy page did not list specific examples of circumvention.
