GTA 6 Release Date in Pakistan: 19 November 2026, Price and Platforms

GTA 6 comes out on 19 November 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. The Standard Edition costs $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition $99.99 on the PlayStation Store, about Rs 22,200 and Rs 27,700 before any bank charges. It will not run on PS4, and Rockstar has not announced a PC version.

We read the date and platforms on Rockstar Games' own Grand Theft Auto VI page on 28 September 2026. The prices and the PS4 answer come from Sony's official PlayStation page for the game. Plenty of older posts still carry guessed dates from 2025 and early 2026. Ignore them. The date on Rockstar's site is the one that counts.

GTA 6 releases on 19 November 2026

Grand Theft Auto VI launches on Thursday 19 November 2026, according to Rockstar Games' official site, which shows "Coming November 19, 2026" with a pre-order button. Pre-orders are open now. Rockstar has not published an unlock time for Pakistan or any other country.

One small wrinkle. Sony's UAE store listing shows "Release: 18/11/2026" in its product details line, while the text on the same page says 19 November. That usually means a midnight unlock in the Americas that falls on the previous evening in other time zones, but Rockstar has not said so. So treat 19 November as the date, and expect the exact hour to be announced closer to launch.

The same day brings Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a soundtrack with 34 original tracks, which Rockstar announced on 17 September 2026.

PS5 and Xbox Series X|S are the only platforms at launch

Rockstar lists two platforms for GTA 6: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Sony's page adds that it is enhanced for PS5 Pro. There is no PS4 version, no Xbox One version, and no PC version has been announced.

Sony is blunt about PS4. Its official page says the game "will only be playable on PlayStation 5 consoles" and "will not be available for PlayStation 4 consoles". If you own a PS4, that is a firm no, not a rumour.

PC players have to wait. Rockstar's official page names only the two consoles. Earlier Rockstar games reached PC months or years after the console release, but that is history, not a promise. Nothing on Rockstar's site gives a PC date today.

GTA 6 costs $79.99, or $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition

On the official PlayStation Store, the GTA 6 Standard Edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99. We read the same two prices on Sony's US page and its UAE page, which is the store most Pakistani PlayStation owners use.

Both digital pre-orders include the Vintage Vice City Pack, one month of GTA+ and a seven-day pre-load. Pre-load means the game downloads to your console a week early, so you can play at unlock instead of waiting for a large download. The Ultimate Edition adds what Rockstar calls "an exclusive collection of items threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story".

The rupee column is our estimate, not a store price. We converted at Rs 277.31 to the dollar, the State Bank of Pakistan's weighted average rate for 24 September 2026. Your bank sets its own dollar card rate and may add charges and taxes on a foreign payment, so the amount taken from your account will be higher. There is no official price in rupees, because neither Sony nor Rockstar sells GTA 6 in Pakistan in rupees.

The free month of GTA+ needs care. Sony's page says it "auto-renews" into a paid monthly subscription. If you do not want that, cancel it in Subscriptions Management before the first payment date. The offer must be claimed by 31 March 2027.

Pakistani players buy GTA 6 through another store region

Pakistan is not on PlayStation's official country list, so there is no Pakistani PlayStation Store. Most players here use a UAE or other foreign account and pay in US dollars, by card or with a gift card from that region.

We checked Sony's country selector on 28 September 2026. It lists India, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and a "United Arab Emirates/Middle East" store, but not Pakistan. The UAE store prices GTA 6 in US dollars, the same $79.99 and $99.99 as the US store.

Here is the usual route for a digital copy on PS5:

1. Sign in to a PlayStation account registered to the UAE region, or create one on your console.
2. Open the PlayStation Store and search for Grand Theft Auto VI.
3. Pick Standard or Ultimate Edition and check the price shown.
4. Pay with an international card that allows online foreign payments, or with PlayStation Store credit bought for that region.
5. Claim the GTA+ month on its product page, and set a reminder to cancel if you do not want to pay for it.

A store region is tied to the account and is hard to change later, so pick one and stay with it. Buy store credit only from sellers you trust. A gift card code that has already been used cannot be recovered.

Physical discs are the other route. Retailers in Pakistan usually import copies after launch, and the shop price depends on the import cost, not on Sony's list price. Rockstar has not announced an official Pakistani distributor. A disc copy needs a PS5 with a disc drive.

The Vice City Collection box is sold separately

Rockstar is also selling The Goodtime State, Vice City Collection, a limited collector's box that arrives on 19 November. It does not include the game. Rockstar says details for Asia will follow.

The box has a 6 inch Macca the Gator figure, Oakley sunglasses, a New Era cap, a poster and other items. It is on the Rockstar Store for pre-order while stock lasts. Rockstar's 24 September 2026 announcement says to "stay tuned" for pre-orders in Asia, Latin America and Australia, so there is no Pakistan shipping option to report yet.

Age is worth a word too. Sony's page says the game's age ratings are not yet confirmed, and notes that GTA V was rated 18 in Europe. Parents can set limits with the PlayStation Family app. GTA 6 is a single-player game, according to Sony's FAQ, though Rockstar has not said anything yet about an online mode.
