Passport Delayed for Hajj 2027? File a Complaint on the DGI&P Hajj Portal in Pakistan
Hajj 2027 applicants with a delayed passport can complain on the DGI&P Hajj Portal form. You need your CNIC, Passport Tracking ID and proof of Hajj application.

Short answer: If you are a Hajj 2027 applicant and your passport is delayed, the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGI&P) takes complaints through a Complaint Information Form on its Hajj Portal page. You need your CNIC, mobile number, Passport Tracking ID and proof that you applied for Hajj. Complaints with missing details are not processed.
Timing makes this urgent. The second instalment of the government Hajj scheme was due by 20 October 2026, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs' own notice. Pilgrims who have paid now need a passport in hand, and some are still waiting at their regional office.
We read the DGI&P Hajj Portal page on dgip.gov.pk on 20 October 2026. It is a small page, and easy to miss from the main menu. This is what it asks for, and what to do if the form does not get you an answer.
DGI&P has a separate complaint form for Hajj passport delays
The DGI&P Hajj Portal says Hajj applicants can submit passport-related complaints there in case of passport delays. The "Launch Complaint" button opens a Complaint Information Form. Ordinary applicants use other routes, but Hajj applicants get this dedicated channel.
The page sits under "About Us" on dgip.gov.pk, as "DGI&P Hajj Portal". It also links to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and to the Hajj application status inquiry. The page itself was last modified on 17 February 2025, so its wording predates the Hajj 2027 cycle.

The complaint needs your Tracking ID and proof of Hajj application
DGI&P asks for accurate details, including your CNIC number, contact number and Passport Tracking ID. You must attach proof that you are a Hajj applicant, such as the application form, submission receipt or fee payment receipt, with the Tracking ID token.
| What DGI&P asks for | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| CNIC number | Your identity card |
| Contact number | The mobile you can answer |
| Passport Tracking ID | The token slip from the passport office |
| Proof of Hajj application | Application form, submission receipt or instalment receipt |
| Tracking ID token | Attach a photo or scan of the slip |
Two warnings sit on the page. Complaints with missing or incorrect details will not be processed. And if you applied for the passport online, check your email and complete every requirement first, because a pending step on your side is not a delay on theirs.
How to file the Hajj passport complaint
Open dgip.gov.pk, go to "About Us" and then "DGI&P Hajj Portal", and click "Launch Complaint". Fill in the Complaint Information Form, attach your Hajj proof and Tracking ID token, and submit. Keep a screenshot of what you sent.
- Find your Passport Tracking ID on the token slip, and your Hajj application or instalment receipt from the Pak Hajj app.
- If you applied online, check your email and finish any pending step first.
- Open dgip.gov.pk, then "About Us", then "DGI&P Hajj Portal".
- Click "Launch Complaint" and fill in the Complaint Information Form with your CNIC, mobile and Tracking ID.
- Attach the Hajj proof and token, submit, and save a screenshot.

Check how long a passport normally takes before you complain. A normal fee passport takes longer than urgent or fast track, and the official times are set out in passport processing days in Pakistan. A complaint lands better when the normal time has clearly passed.
Hajj 2027 needs a valid passport, and the exact validity date is not settled
The Hajj Policy 2027 to 2030 says applicants must hold a valid Pakistani passport when they apply. The minimum validity is set each season by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, in line with Saudi instructions. We did not find that notice on the ministry's website on 20 October.
Reports differ on the date. Some give 16 November 2027 as the date the passport must remain valid until, others 26 November 2027. Neither is on the ministry's site that we could find. If your passport expires anywhere near late 2027, renew it now rather than risk the later date.
| Point | What we found |
|---|---|
| Valid passport needed | Yes, under the Hajj Policy 2027 to 2030 |
| Minimum validity | To be notified by the ministry per Saudi rules |
| Dates in reports | 16 November 2027 or 26 November 2027, reported, not confirmed |
| Second instalment deadline | 20 October 2026, ministry notice |
Early renewal is allowed. DGI&P says there is no restriction on renewing before expiry, as explained in renewing a passport before it expires. The other Hajj conditions, such as health and the exit control list, are in who can go on Hajj 2027.
Other routes if the Hajj form gets no reply
If the form brings no answer, call the DGI&P helpline on 051-111-344-777, or file on the Pakistan Citizen's Portal app under "Immigration & Passports". DGI&P itself shows these steps. A federal ombudsman complaint is the last step after the department.
- DGI&P helpline 051-111-344-777. The site header shows several office-hour ranges; mornings from 9 am are the safe bet.
- Pakistan Citizen's Portal app: register with your CNIC and mobile, then choose "Immigration & Passports".
- The Wafaqi Mohtasib, if the passport office still does not act.
Each route, with what to write, is set out in filing a passport complaint in Pakistan. For the instalment side of Hajj, the dates and payment steps are in the Hajj 2027 second instalment.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 20 October 2026. The complaint form, the required details and the warnings come from the DGI&P Hajj Portal page, which we read on 20 October 2026; it was last modified on 17 February 2025. The Citizen's Portal steps come from the DGI&P graphic on the same site. The passport rule comes from the Hajj Policy 2027 to 2030 on the Ministry of Religious Affairs website, and the 20 October deadline from the ministry's notice dated 14 October. We did not file a test complaint, and we could not confirm the minimum validity date or how fast the form is answered.
