Homage UPS and solar inverters cost Rs 40,000 to Rs 220,000 for home sizes on Homage's own store, read on 7 November 2026. The HVS-1214SCC at Rs 40,000 gives 1,000 watts. The HAS-3218SCC hybrid at Rs 65,000 gives 3,200 watts, and it is the point where most homes get a far better buy.

Homage's site says the prices are invoice rates including tax and that the store covers the Lahore region only. Other cities should call the head office on 021-111-764-111. We list eight Homage models below with Homage's own pictures, the battery voltage each one needs, and the solar charger size. We also add three Exide batteries from Exide's own list, since no UPS runs without one.

8 Homage inverters compared by watts and battery voltage

Homage's eight home models give 1,000 to 8,500 watts and need 12, 24 or 48 volts of battery. A 24 volt unit needs two 12 volt batteries, and a 48 volt unit needs four. That battery cost should sit beside the inverter price when you budget.

Homage also lists two IP66 weatherproof hybrids, the HAS-6020SCC at Rs 250,000 and the HAS-8020SCC at Rs 350,000, plus three-phase on-grid models from Rs 154,600 for 10 kW. Those are for bigger systems.

The 7 Homage units with official pictures and our verdict

Pure sine wave output suits fans, fridges and inverter ACs, and Homage's Vertex 24 volt listing says simulated sine wave instead. Hybrid models can also run on solar and feed power to the grid. Pick by your load first, then check the battery voltage.

Homage Vertex HVS-1214SCC and HVS-2414SCC

Rs 40,000 for 1,000 watts on 12 volts, and Rs 52,000 for 1,800 watts on 24 volts. Homage uses this one picture for both. The 2414 lists simulated sine wave and a 55 amp MPPT solar charger. These are the small backup choice for fans and lights.

A simulated wave can make some fans hum and some sensitive devices dislike it, so test your own items.

Homage HAS-3218SCC Hybrid

Rs 65,000 for 3,200 watts on 24 volts. Pure sine wave, built-in Wi-Fi, lithium support and a solar charger up to 5,000 watts. It runs on two batteries, it can feed the grid, and it is only Rs 13,000 above the Vertex 2414. This is our value pick.

Homage HAS-4018SCC Hybrid

Rs 90,000 for 4,000 watts on 24 volts. Solar charger up to 6,000 watts and 120 amp charging. It pays off if you already have two batteries and need a little more headroom for one inverter AC.

Homage HBS-5617SCC

Rs 110,000 for 5,600 watts on 48 volts. Solar charger up to 6,500 watts, Wi-Fi and dual outputs for load management. Four batteries are the real cost here, so count them before you compare it with the 24 volt units.

Homage HAS-6018SCC V4 Hybrid

Rs 120,000 for 6,000 watts on 48 volts. Solar charger up to 9,000 watts, with up to nine units in parallel. Rs 10,000 above the 5,600 watt model buys 2,500 more solar watts, which is the better deal if your roof has space.

Homage HBS-8017SCC

Homage HBS-8017SCC 8,000 watt inverter in white and black, official product photo
Image: Homage

Rs 210,000 for 8,000 watts on 48 volts. Solar charger up to 11,000 watts on two inputs. This is a large home unit with two solar inputs, so a proper design from your installer matters.

Homage HAS-8518SCC Hybrid

Rs 220,000 for 8,500 watts on 48 volts. Solar charger up to 13,000 watts, 150 amp charging. It costs Rs 10,000 above the HBS-8017SCC for 2,000 more solar watts, so we would pick this one of the two.

3 Exide batteries give 170 to 200 Ah from the maker's list

Exide's household list runs from 136 to 200 ampere-hours, shown as Ah, which is the battery's size. Exide's page shows no prices. We picked three common sizes. Half the stored power is a safe limit for a lead-acid battery, so plan on half.

Exide N200

170 Ah, weight figure 26.92 on the list. At 12 volts that stores about 2 units on paper. On half use it runs a 300 watt load for about 3.4 hours.

Exide NS240 Plus

Exide NS240 Plus 190 Ah battery with a blue top, official product photo
Image: Exide

190 Ah, weight figure 31.01 on the list. On half use it runs a 300 watt load for about 3.8 hours, which covers most planned load shedding.

Exide N250

Exide N250 200 Ah battery with a black top, official product photo
Image: Exide

200 Ah, weight figure 38.36 on the list. On half use it runs a 300 watt load for about 4 hours. It is the biggest on the list with the N260, and two of them make a solid 24 volt bank.

Exide's page does not say which models are tall tubular or made for daily deep cycling, so ask your dealer for the exact type. Our sums on sizing a UPS and battery for load shedding show how to match your own load, and you should check the UPS and battery for a PSQCA licence before you pay.

Backup hours for a 300 watt load on Exide batteries at half use from 3.4 hours on the N200 to 4 hours on the N250

Charging a battery adds units to your bill

A UPS refills its battery from the grid. Half of a 170 Ah battery holds about 1 unit, and refilling it takes a little more because of losses. So two full charge and use cycles a day adds about 70 to 80 units a month, by our rough sum.

Battery bankHalf stored (units)Two cycles a day for 30 days, plus 20% losses (units)
One 170 Ah at 12 V1.0273
One 200 Ah at 12 V1.286
Two 200 Ah at 24 V2.4173

Losses vary by unit and battery, and the 20 per cent here is our own round figure, not a Homage or Exide figure. That is why a big battery bank can push a protected home over 200 units on its own during heavy load shedding. Solar panels change the picture, because the hybrid units can refill the bank from the sun, and a solar loan from a bank is one way to pay for them.

Pick your Homage unit in 5 steps

Five quick steps get you to the right unit, and they take about fifteen minutes with a pen and your appliance labels. Do them before you visit a dealer, since a seller will often lead with the unit that suits his stock rather than your load.

  1. Add the watts of what must run in a power cut: fans, lights, router, fridge.
  2. Pick an inverter with at least a third more watts than that number.
  3. Note its battery voltage, and count 12 volt batteries: 1, 2 or 4.
  4. Decide if you will add panels soon. If so, buy a hybrid with room in its solar charger.
  5. Outside Lahore, call Homage on 021-111-764-111 for the local price before you pay a dealer.

Questions people ask about Homage UPS prices

What is the Homage UPS price in Pakistan?

Homage's store lists home units from Rs 40,000 for the HVS-1214SCC to Rs 220,000 for the HAS-8518SCC, including tax, as read on 7 November 2026.

Do these prices apply in every city?

No. Homage says this store covers the Lahore region. Call 021-111-764-111 for other cities.

Do the prices include batteries?

The listings describe the inverter only. Budget for 1, 2 or 4 batteries on top, depending on its voltage.

Which Homage inverter runs a 1 ton inverter AC?

The HAS-3218SCC at 3,200 watts is the smallest we would look at, since a 1 ton AC can draw well over 1,000 watts. Check your AC's rating plate first.

What does SCC mean on a Homage model?

Solar charge controller, the part that charges the battery from panels. The Homage listings describe an MPPT type, which tracks the best panel output.

How long does a 200 Ah battery last on a 300 watt load?

About 4 hours if you use half its stored power, by our sum. Older batteries give less.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read prices and specifications on Homage's own store and its product pages, and the Ah list on Exide's household battery page, on 7 November 2026. Pictures are the makers' own. Backup hours and charging units are our own arithmetic, and we have not tested these units ourselves.
